My 2025 Chevy Equinox had an ATF leak. They had the vehicle for 23 days and said it was fixed. Three days later it's leaking worse. When I took it back to the dealership, they refused to give me a loaner. I was told I would have to rent a car and submit the paperwork for reimbursement. Incredibly disappointed in the service here. Was interested in 2 cars and scheduled an appointment to come look at them on 5/15. When I arrived, there was no receptionist or anyone I could find to greet me. When I found a manager to help they nicely welcomed me but then went and angrily told their employees to get to the front. This made me a little uncomfortable. When I met a sales rep to show me the cars, they had both in the front but one was the wrong car. I let them know and they said "I sold that one Monday" (5/12). I trusted them with that statement later to find out yesterday from another Bill Walsh dealership that car was never sold and I could come look at it. Not sure why they would hide a car from me but I won't be back. read more

I took my car to get a leaking sunroof fixed. They had it for a week waiting for parts. When I called they kept saying we will call you when we know anything. Never called. I just paid $1100 for the fix only to find soaked front and back seat floorboards . I'm not sure if they just left the water they pored diagnose or if it's still leaking. Last year of oil changes has been terrible. They stopped filling the liquids of the car, broke the radio once, takes two hours to get an oil change now, god knows if they even changed the oil. read more

Sat there for over 2 hours hours without anyone speaking to me about why my check engine light was on. They came out to tell me they fixed it and the large cost and that my warranty didn't cover it. Even though when I pulled in they told me they would speak to me and let me know a price before they did any work on it. Then when I asked them if they washed it, which they are supposed to do with any service on the vehicle, they said I had after market rims and would not wash it. Definitely not true since we bought the truck brand new from them and haven't changed anything and they have washed it before. They are full of excuses. read more

Horrible!!HORRIBLE!! Horrible experience. Do not deal with these people. I contacted them through a car buying app. I was promptly contacted by Rachel Robinson at Bill Walsh. I called her and discussed my issues. That I am coming from Bloomington-Normal and would like to take it to my own mechanic. I was told sure! Not a problem. When you come in ask for Mike one of our managers. I was emailed an appointment reminder and it was stated if anything changed such as the car being sold or something came up she would give me the courtesy and let me know. My appointment was for 9am. She called me at 8:23am to confirm that I was coming and that they were ready for me and the van was all pulled up and ready to go. My first sign should have been when I showed up to the used car area no one knew I was coming. I was lead out by a salesman to the van, that was still covered in frost..... the salesman left me to look over the van and said when I was ready to pull up to the office and sign some paper work, I would be on my way. I did, he came out to get a copy of my ID. When he returned he said, come in we have a problem. The used car manager went on to tell me that I should have never be told that, they have 2 appointments to show the van, and basically if I could have it back in 5 hours I could take it, but not overnight like I was promised. And basically it wasn't his problem I was promised that from the business office that "doesn't communicate with the various wings of the dealership". At that point I handed over the keys and "walked". The salesman, whom I will add was kind and basically told me he understood my anger, followed me out to my van and apologized. But the dead was done. Once I returned home I texted Rachel Robinson. Basically telling her how I am not happy and my time was wasted. She called and texted multiple times trying to "earn back" my business. But I was told the van would be sold today at that price and I am not about to wasted more of my time with a dealership that has bad communication and customer service!! My father has worked 20+ years in the car business, I know this is not how the "good ones" operate!! I can tell you from my horrible experience not to work with or trust Bill Walsh!! If there was a zero star rating I would rate them a solid ZERO!! read more

We bought a 2019 Buick Avenir from Bill Walsh in Nov. Our salesman Zach Abernathy was great and we were pleased with his help in selecting the car we wanted. But we have not been happy with their service. Our first problem was with the transmission. We finally took it in and found out there had been a recall. However, no one communicated this to us. This was fixed for awile. We had another reoccuring problem with the electrical system (nothing on the dashboard worked, along with the blinkers, suspension system, the camera, the brake lights, etc. did not work. It was very dangerous to drive.) The first time it happened was when we drove it home after purchasing the car. We called them from the car and they told us to bring it back the next day. We now know we should have turned around and taken it right back. After making several trips to have our problem investigated, it still continued to happen. Finally we left the car and were given a loaner. They had our car for over 2 weeks with very little communication. When we did contact them, nothing had been done because they had not witnessed the problem. However, they knew the computer had shown 26 code issues. I finally told them they either needed to fix it or give us a new car. Guess what? They immediately replaced a module and it was repaired. When we left the car, it had between a half and a quarter tank of gas. On our way home we had to get gas as it was running on fumes. Apparently, our car had been driven quite a bit. We had to fill up the loaner car due to their instructions, but we were left with our vehicle being empty of gas. After this problem was fixed, the transmission again had a problem. We again had to take it back for the fluid to be drained and replaced with the correct fluid. We don't have too much faith in their service department anymore. read more

Called about a vehicle on Thursday to see if it was in stock, they said yes and made me an appt for Sat. Called Friday and made sure it was still there as we were driving 2 hours to get there which I informed them of on my first phone call. We get there Sat morning and are informed the car was sold at 8PM the previous night. Funny since they close at 7. They were trying to scam from the start talking about a newer model that I didnt even want. The car I wanted is still listed online. They are listing things that appear to be a great deal but when you get there they try to bait and switch you. "Oh that car is sold but we can get you into something else" I.e. something more expensive. It must work some of the time and people settle for something they dont want since theyve driven hours. Vultures. I didnt listen to people that had the same thing happen and wasted my whole day. Dont bother bringing your business here. Theyve done this to dozens of people. read more

They haven't found anything wrong with my car. Engine has cut out on me 6 times. They can't find any problems. They've never called me any of the days they've had my car. I call them and they say should have called me back. I wouldn't say they are friendly. The service manager seems professional, but these can even find a problem with my car.
