We come here for Taco Tuesday specials and we place our order online. We always get the Taco Burgers for the Taco Tuesday special and I enjoy the Chicken Taquitos. The Taco Burger is half a beef patty with cheese in a taco shell covered with lettuce and green chile. My family enjoys them. We have only had one order in which they forgot to add green chile and cheese to the fries. We would come back again. read more

Staff was rude. I assume they're overworked and underpaid, but I didn't stick around to find out what the food was like.

I'm going for a solid 3-star at this location. I have been to one other location and I felt the attention was better at the Rio Rancho location. My fiance, sister, and I had spent the day assembling baby things for the room. Crib, stroller, shelves, washing clothes etc., we were tired and needed to get out of the house. Fiance suggested Bob's so we came here, I'd only ever gotten breakfast burritos but decided to try the hamburger. What I ordered and what I received were different. I ordered the ranchero burger, but got a plain one instead. :( I did get green chili cheese fries, which were alight, but they had queso and not shredded cheese. I don't like queso in place of real melty cheese. The chile was spicy and good. I might give it another try, but I'll make sure to check my order before walking out. read more

Place was empty and it was around noon (should have taken that hint). Had the green chili burger I give it a 5/10 it was similar to a cafeteria burger. The green chili sauce made it edible. The fries were a bit overly crunchy. Workers were super loud and might have been because it was empty in the eating area. Picked up lunch here today, went through the drive thru since that's the only thing open due to COVID19. I paid w debit card and was disappointed to see the clerk hand me a receipt to sign. Customer service was on point. I have seen some negative reviews on here of this place and I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt that those were over sites that are not common. I always order the same thing when I got to Bob's and this time was not any different, the combo A w/ green chili cheese fries. for some reason when I received my food I had an extra small container of the green chili. I ended up saving it and making some fries a day later and put the chili on there and it was delicious. idk what made them give me the extra green chili but I appreciate it a lot and made me super excited to try some homemade green chili cheese fries thanx to them. Went to pick up burgers at 5:00 pm today. They are closed! I wonder if it's temporary?

Food is great and keeps us coming back. Service is great in the morning. After 5 customer service goes out the window. Make sure you check your order before you leave, chances are it will be wrong in some way. Check if got anything on the side they will not give you enough for all your items. Check the napkins as you will not have enough, the sign posted even directs the staff to limit the number of napkins per order. Also it seem to be a challenge to give you as few bags as possible. You can order for 5 people and they will over stuff in 2 bags. If you check your order in the drive thru before leaving they will not check on you after they throw the over stuffed bags at you. They may even see you looking at them because they forgot something and they will turn the other way. You just have to wait for them to get around to ask if you need anything. Even with all this, the food is delicious and keeps me coming back. But they need to work on customer service and I would come back much more often. read more

I created an account with Yelp because of my experience tonight. I went inside, ordered Bob's Double Bacon (#4) and they didn't include bacon on the burger. Also ordered fries and they were soggy. To top it all off, I got food poisoning from here as well. Honest to God, I feel like my meal was messed with intentionally because of my skin color. Best location in town! Everyone is so friendly and kind!! The foot long chile dog with red chile , onion and cheese is ridiculous!! SO GOOD!! My favorite thing is the Chile Cheese Fries ( GREEN ) and in my opinion the best in New Mexico!! So what if the orders come out a little slow sometimes! That's because they cook to order!! EDIT: They're on the Trail now! I'm utterly gobsmacked to learn that Bob's isn't listed in the "Green Chile Cheeseburger Trail." The chile they use on their Ranchero Burger is far better than the Bueno or Albuquerque Tortilla Company brands a lot of places use. It's got a nice bite and is loaded with flavor. The fries are about average and the burger itself is on par with Blake's. The chile, though, is why you should come here instead. read more

It's been years since I've been at a Bob's Burgers. I had stopped by because I suddenly remembered how much I liked their taco burgers. Going into this location, there was trash every where. I don't know how busy they get, but at the time I went, there were no customers. I feel like someone should have made the time to sweep or have it enforced to clean on down time. The cashier was nice, but you can see everyone behind the counter had earphones in. I get it can get boring without music, but even if it's a fast food joint, it's still unprofessional. Lastly, they don't seem to refill their ketchup often because it was empty and dried. I don't come to this location often but it's a nicer location. Has clean bathroom and inside seating and cold ac. Employees are always nice and accommodating I love that they give me the option and asked if I wanted red or green or both chili (Christmas fries) on my fries. Most places don't ask or if I wanted mild or hot. I also got the taco burger it tasted good and fresh they don't over do the green chili like some places I go to. I wish they had a zero star option because they don't even deserve one star. We went through the drive thru it took pretty long but when we went up to the window the dude at the window said our order and it was wrong, the lady must have messed something up or not heard at the window so we told him what our order was and he went back in, then he came out a second time and we told him our order twice, he said sorry and gave us a free fry. We ordered three old fashioned burgers one with cheese and no veggies, one regular, and one with cheese. We got three burgers with absolutely nothing on them, it's just patty and bun, we only ordered one without vegetables and all of them don't have vegetables, no condiments or anything were on the burgers. Ordered a hamburger (without Chile). When I was eating it, my mouth started burning and everything tasted funny. I thought it was maybe just the onions. Swallowed and took another bite. A CHEMICAL smell was so powerful I spit out my bite and my mouth and throat were burning. My husband also tried it and he had to spit it out. He said it smelled like nail polish remover! Food was good. Chile cheese fries were awesome. But, it was really slow tonight. We got ours to-go, but watched a lot of people wait ten minutes to get their food and still not even have their sodas. They lost some poor lady's order, and had to get her receipt to remake it. Finally, after waiting and waiting, I had to interrupt the manager from her texting session to bag my food. No one was rude or anything, just not real set on getting things going. We were unaware this place serves you cold food when it's a call in order. The young man at the register in drive thru proceeded to tell us "it's a call in order and that's why it's cold"... unbelievably bad service. I had come to the same location last week and the same thing happened, however, the manager was so nice I forgave the incident. The kid at the register wearing blue shade sunglasses inside was extremely rude with that response. His name is Jonathan. He is extremely unprofessional and RUDE. We weren't offered any APOLOGY . The only person nice was the manager named Surprise, she definitely was felt a rough hand in hiring this kid. Jonathan was rude, unprofessional and when we asked for his name he laughed! Just after 8:00pm and they close at 9:00pm. I go in for two chocolate shakes and the guy tells me he has already cleaned the machine, with still almost an hour to go before closing. Seems to me if you would want have good customer satisfaction you would wait to clean the ice cream machine way closer to closing. Tonight the staff pulled something that i found completely inexcusable for a retail fast food establishment. I just got off of work, got in line didnt realize it was already 8pm. One of the girls cashier person came out and told me that they were closed and she had a large orange cone in her hand to show the drive through was closed. I had already been there about 5 mins. I told her that Id been in line right about 8 oclock. She continued and said she took the explorers order in front of me like 15 mins ago and they were the last person for the night to get their order in. I told her that she should have put the cone out when she took their order and she said she couldnt until they were not in the middle of the parking lot. Upset but i underestood what she was saying. So I parked in the same parking lot and ordered subway on the subway app. As I am waiting for my sandwich to be made, bobs burgers allowed another car to go in the drive through and to place an order. I think i was just discriminated against or at least i was profiled for sure. I think thats crap and i am not happy about it. read more

Not impressed. The green chili used on the fries and burgers was bland and disappointing. I would have enjoyed the burger more had they just piled some green chilies on it. The sauce added nothing. The burger itself was just as bland and plain. If you are in the mood for a bland plain burger, this might be your place. I was equally unimpressed that soda refills were 50 cents.
