I've been to several Pho places in ABQ and out of state. Customer service was good, ambiance inviting. I got the chicken Pho and it tasted a bit on the greasier side. Veggies were good in the Pho, however the chicken was cut into bite sizes vs chunks which made it challenging to use with chop sticks. I know, use a fork but chop sticks just make it yummier in my opinion. What I like about this shop is the freshly made, healthy food (they make it after you place your order), selection (hugeee variety of combinations/things you can customize for your meal, wonderful customer service and affordable prices. If anything, there's just so much selection for noodles, rolls, banh mi, etc that it can be quite overwhelming (but also can be good thing) to pick and choose what you want for everything you order). Absolutely loooved this place! It's a build your own spring roll with many different combinations. Almost everyone will find some options that both satisfy their taste. I personally enjoyed the traditional shrimp spring roll. The shrimp has an incredible flavor to it. When mixed with the various veggies and other available options, it was a very unique experience. My favorite sauce was the peanut sauce but I also very much enjoyed the green chile sauce. The staff is amazing! Super friendly and very helpful! I've heard of this place as I know the owner owns a couple of other places around town, I was in the area and wanted to try this place out. I had a major cup of pho which was great but I believe the staff that helped me was new. He didn't ask me what broth I wanted and automatically assumed I wanted the regular pho broth. I also ordered spring rolls and fried pork rolls which were good but the spring rolls weren't wrapped tight enough that by the second bite, it was falling apart. The staff didn't know that with the egg rolls, you get three rolls. When he rang up my order, he assumed I wanted the egg rolls and chips combo which I didn't but I let it be. I went here for a yelp event last night and was blown away by the customer service. The man that I am assuming was the owner was more than helpful to us and told us everything he recommended. He brought out samples of the chicken, beef, and shrimp and each of them were amazing. The sauce on them was the perfect balance of sweet and savory. I myself got the New Mexico roll (I believe that's what it was called, it was the one with Mac and cheese in it) and it was great. The inside was filled with tons of flavor and the outside was a perfect balance of crunch. I also got a shrimp spring roll that also had tons of flavor in it. Today was our first day visiting and I don't know why we've waited this long!! Since it was our first time visiting we stuck with the traditionals on the menu with the shrimp and pork sausage and they sure didn't disappoint. The flavoring of the meat and freshness of all the ingredients made for an even better eating experience. And you also get your choice of sauce which I went with the peanut butter and he went with the sweet and sour. We did take the food home and I will say the wrapping could've been a little better on one of the rolls because the second one had a big hole and everything fell apart and became a little messy but that didn't disrupt me eating it.
