This year the weather wasn't great, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that one of the many improvements this year were extra covered eating areas. Bob is always so approachable and routinely stops to chat with my husband about the farm and plans for the future. My partner and I went to Bob's for their sunflower festival. Overall we were very happy with the experience! It is definitely family friendly with lots for kids to do but also is fun for adults! You take a covered tractor ride out to the field where the sunflowers are at (short and comfortable ride). They drop you off and have a little concession stand and bathrooms available for when you are out at the field. We decided we wanted to take a bunch of flowers home so we bought a mason jar we were allowed to fill with as many stems as we could fit (it was a lot). They also have a TON of props throughout the field for cute photo opportunities. The sunflowers looked great and it was a lot of fun. We also stopped in their farm shop and grabbed some jam and some fresh corn as we were leaving. Both have been amazing. I'd recommend this place for the sunflower field and we plan to come back to try out their pumpkin patch once the season is right! read more

Overall, a great spot to spend a few hours enjoying fall activities. While they have a pumpkin patch, we went straight to the corn maze which was fantastic. It's so enormous and split into two halves so if you want to bail after the first half, it's easy to do so. The lines get long for other activities though, e.g. mining, apple canon, etc, and the signage for parking, check ins, etc could be better. If you can come on a weekday, it might be be better to avoid the crowds but then you would miss out on some of the food. Overall, I would give Swan trail the edge with the pumpkin patch but the corn maze is larger and more fun here. Fun for the whole family! read more

Came here on a beautiful (but smokey) October weekend. I purchased tickets ahead of time and had no difficulty getting in. They had a decent amount of food options, many younger people working the stands and they did wonderful. Great family areas with a kids playground and other activities such as a kids corn maze. You had the option of just purchasing a pumpkin or going into the patch itself. There was the most vast selection of pumpkins (types) I have ever seen. It was awesome! We did the night corn maze which did not disappoint. I loved the middle section with a nice break around a campfire. Also the cider is a must! Parking was on gravel, I had heard it could get crowded to get in and out but I had no issues. read more

My husband Leo and I's monthly date for October took place at Bob's Corn and Pumpkin Farm this past Saturday (3 days ago). We had a great experience here. We stayed at the farm for hours - we stayed until it was too dark to see. We'd thought that the farm closed at 6pm (I think that my husband read that on their website? Could've been a misread though), but when we asked a staff member about the closing time, we were told that the farm wouldn't be closing until 10:30 or 11pm! A large portion of our time at the farm was spent navigating the corn maze. Beautiful and cool and unusual (for us). Neither Leo nor I had ever visited a Corn or Pumpkin Farm before, nor had either of us ever tried going through a corn maze before this past Saturday. We were challenging ourselves by deciding to go through the corn maze. We both have a terrible sense of direction - even WITH a map. We were in there for over an hour, and we got disoriented several times. On the map of the corn maze - you have the choice to try the maze with or without the map - there is actually a number to call in case you get lost! However, at the moment that Leo and I were feeling the most disoriented, a kind stranger noticed our plight and encouraged us to follow him and his (masked) group. We felt such gratitude and relief, and we did just that. :) I wore waterproof, ankle-length boots, and for the most part, the length of my boots worked fine for navigating the corn maze. I would've worn longer boots, but we recently moved and I don't know which box my longer boots are located in! If you're planning on picking pumpkins, though, I'd probably wear at least calf-length boots, if not knee-length. It was moderately raining on the day that we went, but this didn't put much of a damper on our fun. Everyone was really kind and friendly - every single staff member, and also a lot of the other people who were attending, as well (total strangers). I noticed on one of the other reviews that someone else who visited the farm was upset about the lack of social distancing on the hayride that transports farm visitors to and from the corn maze. In our particular case, we may have just gotten lucky, but we were easily able to socially distance both on the hayride there and on the hayride back (also, everything being outdoors, we felt much safer overall anyway). Most other farmgoers were wearing masks, and it was really easy to socially distance from the people who weren't wearing masks - the farm is enormous! We bought pumpkins at the pumpkin shed near the corn maze - one medium-sized orange pumpkin, and one small white pumpkin. The price was reasonable and they even had bags with handles to carry the pumpkins back in, which was really nice, since it was kind of a long walk plus the hayride back. The blazing campfire at the halfway point of the corn maze was just beautiful. It was also a joyful experience to look up at the sky surrounded by the tall stalks of planted corn (when it intermittently stopped raining, that is). When it started to get dark and we were still in the corn maze, Tiki torches were lit at the entrance to the halfway point. So pretty! We really enjoyed our experience here. 5 stars for sure! I was slightly disappointed with this pumpkin patch. The cinnamon donuts were stale and obviously sitting out, and the other food options were subpar. I would give this place 1 star if it wasn't for the corn maze which was very fun and challenging. We went at night which made it even more difficult and fun. All in all very average. read more

You might want to bring a flashlight and charge up yr phone batteries if you go to the night maze. It was so much fun but prepare to spend an hour. The best way to celebrate the beginning of fall is pumpkin picking at Bob's! My fiancé and I have come here two years in a row to pick our own pumpkins for the season. Tickets are not required if you plan on picking pumpkins yourself or just want to enjoy the food. You only need tickets for the other activities (primarily kid focused). There are multiple lots to park in - mark sure to park in the lower lot if you plan on going to the u-pick area. You will find fresh cider (hot, cold, slushy), apple or pumpkin flavored donuts, corn dipped in melted butter and many other treats. The cider has a good flavor to it, it's not too strong or sweet. The freshly roasted corn was DELICIOUS. It was worth getting bits of corn stuck in my teeth. They do offer roasted squash as well. Make sure to wear your boots for pumpkin picking if you plan on going out into the field as it can be quite muddy. The hut where you pay can lend a pair of clippers to cut stems, if needed. There is a nice variety of pumpkins in terms of shape, size and color. If you would like to skip the messy field experience, there is a good assortment of pre-picked pumpkins. We came here on opening day (8/14) for the sunflower festival. We paid $20 a person online to come here. All together $60. When we arrived I was hoping for a festival like others where you pay a fee and there's activities you can mosey around and do. To put it in the lens for parents; they have an activity area made up of metal and tires - not heat friendly, and a tractor ride that couldn't break the air for a refreshing breeze. I feel for the farm. They must've been hit hard by the weather this year. The sunflowers looked like they were on life support. This was part of my birthday trip and after a full week bopping around and having lots of highs and lows, this was truly the lowest. We loved our visit to Bob's! It's a little further into Snohomish than some of the other popular farms but it was entirely worth the extra drive. We went on the Thursday before Halloween and it was not busy at all. They had so many great areas out front for family photo ops and staff walking around offering to take your picture for you which was a lovely touch. You can purchase any of the pumpkins that have already been picked and are on display, or you can venture to any of their u-pick areas (we counted at least 3). They also have dozens and dozens of wheelbarrows available on site to help you transport your pumpkins. There's something for everyone to do here - lots of things for kiddos of course but even adults can join in the fun with apple cannon shooting and a full blown adult corn maze. We particularly enjoyed seeing all the different varieties of pumpkins, squash and gourd grown on the farm, the moo train, and all of the antique tractors that were on display. Everything we tried from the general store - from their beef sticks, to cedardale apple juice, and Joe's teas - were incredible. We also got pumpkin spice and apple crisp mini donuts, both were so fresh, flavourful and made right then so they were still warm! We definitely plan to return next year and highly recommend this farm to everyone! read more

The first time I brought my family here was five years ago, and our experience was a disaster. Ungodly traffic, long lines, crowds that made it impossible to enjoy anything. At the time, it was a one-star experience (upgraded to two stars when we actually managed to taste the donuts). But I'm very happy to upgrade Bob's Corn to five stars... they have been putting in constant work to improve their operations and make their farm an enjoyable experience for guests. They've added multiple stations throughout the farm where you can purchase wristbands, concession stands throughout as well, and an additional parking lot with entry from an adjacent road. The Snohomish sheriff is perpetually stationed outside the entrance to assist the flow of traffic. The donut line is still long, but the donuts are made to order, and the counter is staffed to the gills. There is a wide range of things to do at the farm, from pumpkin picking and a hayride to gem mining, the apple cannon, "Bob's Back 40" for kids, multiple corn mazes, a cow train, two-story slide, the corn crib, etc. Every single year I've seen them add new attractions. They're pumping money into their farm to make it the best experience possible for their guests, and I appreciate that. Unlike other local farms, Bob's offers a season pass option. This maximizes value for money if you're lucky enough to live close to the farm. We are able to take our kids several times throughout the season, and we find it to be an exceptional value. I'm so glad we gave Bob's a second (and third and fourth...) chance. It's a place we enjoy going to now every year. read more

Nicest corn mazes I've ever seen! So fun with lots of little clues throughout that have you answer different informative questions about the farm, and farm things in general! The entire place is INSANELY CLEAN! Seriously! Even the portapotty's were spotless and there were TONS of them!!! So much to do and see! My kids could have stayed and played for hours! We bought some fudge and donuts and both were/are delicious. There are educational signs everywhere and the staff was so accessible and happy to answer every question we could think of.... I moved from WA state over 8 years ago, and one of the things our family misses is the pumpkin patch experience each Fall. We traveled to Snohomish this past week to enjoy the FALL experience and booked a few hours in a personal Firepit at Bob's Corn & Pumpkin Farm. From the first call, Abby's great care on the phone to help me book what we needed, to the warm reception upon arrival we were met with friendly helpful staff wanting our trip to be excellent! Our friends who joined us remarked at how delightful this all was, and we could not recommend Bob's more! From pumpkin donuts, hot apple cider, hay bales, and photo ops all over the farm, we were having the best time! Then to the firepit experience which was 5-stars all the way! As the sun set, we were taken to our private cornstalk surrounded firepit 'room' and the logs were crackling in the crisp Fall air. The light faded and the warm glow of the fire set the stage as we roasted yummy treats and then ran the corn maze in the dark! We were onsite for 4+ hours, and it was glorious! The staff is kind, fun and helpful. The Farm is meticulous and well cared for, clean and easy to navigate for families, kids, and all ages. I can't wait to book for next year as we will not wait that long again to enjoy such a great experience as we had at Bob's. So glad we did it! Worth every penny~! read more

If you just need a pass to the store just ask for one. They offer cider and popcorn and yummy pepper jellies for cheese or chicken. They also have the most ENORMOUS apples you could ever want!!!! When we arrived we got our bracelets The. We headed for the donut line. It's best to split if you have two in you party. One for food and one for donuts. Then one your bellies are full head over to the pumpkin patch on the hay ride and enjoy the experience!!! Went to Bob's Corn & Pumpkin Farm recently on a weekend, it was more fun than I expected. Coming from Seattle/Ballard area, it took me about 40 mins to get to. Depending on what time you get there, there was plenty of parking for us. Some designated parking lots for families and expecting mothers. Those lots don't apply to me so I parked further away. They open at 10am, but we got a pro-tip from a staff member there to get your tickets/bracelets first, get some food second, then go enjoy the farm. The lines for the food gets long especially the hot cider and donuts line. Speaking of hot cider and donuts, that was pretty good, perfect for a chilly, foggy morning. There's a menu board at the front of the line so be sure to take a gander at it as there are options on the way you can have your donuts. Line was long all day as we were there. Hay ride by tractor was fine, it takes you from the main farm area to across the street to the other pumpkin patch and to the corn maze. It's not a long ride. Corn maze was real fun, YOU WILL GET LOST!!! Relax, it's not life threatening. There are trivia clues along the way to help you choose the correct route. Also there are sections of the maze that is color coded so you will realize you are advancing along and a snack bar area to indicate you are halfway through. They said the maze is 10 acres and will take you about an hour to get through, it took us about 50 mins with no snack break. It's pretty cool. Be sure to do the Apple Canon, it is pretty fun shooting targets with an apple canon! I could do that all day! Overall, it was a fun day, glad we went, got a bunch of stuff to take home from the farm store, ate some good snacks while there, good amount of food options to eat there like roasted corn, roasted squash, kettle corn, donuts, other sweets, even BBQ. Prices aren't so bad. It's pretty crowded there on weekends, so expect a lot of little kids and families, long lines for activities etc. Staff is very friendly and helpful to make sure you are enjoying your time there. read more

If Radiohead sang a song about pumpkin patches, it would be based on Bob's corn maze. This place is essentially SeaTac airport with pumpkins. Lines, germs, frustration. Perhaps it's more expensive. Picture a wholesome family experience or an outdoor date. Pumpkins, the smell of apple cider, the sound of rustling leaves, walking around in your boots holding hands. Now erase that thought completely and picture a dump truck of pumpkins being dropped off at security at the airport, only you have to pay $30 per person to get into the security line. Then wait in yet a longer line to pay more money for something that's not included. Then repeat. Rest assured though, if you're hungry, you can [wait in a 15 minute line] to pay $10 for six donuts given to you by a burnt out kid who can't count your change. Have to hand it to you, Bob, you're one hell of a capitalist. This is a smart business but absolutely devoid of the experience I wanted. We have gone nearly every year for the past 11 years. Covid review only: Outside of covid I love this place, would give it 5 stars. They do require masks but unfortunately don't enforce them. More than that one signed said that the masks were required "indoors and when interacting with staff", and there were several people hanging out on crowded playgrounds without masks. We left immidiately after seeing that. There was no one from staff there btw. Also people are not keeping the 6 foot distance, especially on the giant indoor slide. And no one enforcing it. There was no one regulating anything. Maybe it would be easier to control the flow of people if they decreased their capacity. I went on a Friday (to avoid crowds) and it was packed with people despite admission being by reservations only. Like cars waiting for cars to leave in order to park. We visited the pumpkin patch yesterday, Sunday 9/30/18 around noon and surprisingly it wasn't that busy! When we pulled up, you can tell the place's parking lot is prepared for a massive crowd. But there was plenty of parking in the field and the field lot wasn't even 1/2 full! It is still early in the Halloween season though. I thought the pumpkins from the patch were reasonably priced. We walked away with 2 cute medium pumpkins for $5 and $6. Things we did/tried: - $3 bottle of cold apple cider - slice of pumpkin pie - bought a delicata squash for $1.15 - bought acorn squash - fresh donuts I wish I knew they served food here! We had eaten right before we went, or else I would have gotten a corn dog and garlic fries! We enjoyed picking pumpkins at the pumpkin patch! Overall, we had a good time. But I can see this place getting busy, having long lines, and being a hot mess with all the kiddos running around. It's a HUGE farm. You have to take the hay ride on over to the actual patch to pick a pumpkin. Not very many good photo opportunities at the actual you pick patch. There's a small area that's organized near the barn with many pumpkins. Most of us took photos here as it was more of a "fall aesthetic." The corn maze was very fun , make sure you keep a map with you. The pumpkin patch was very cool. Lots of different shapes sizes and colors to choose from. Took our family here over the weekend and had just an awesome time thanks to the staff and to the farm. My little sister wanted to try a corn maze for her first time. We did the kids corn maze and it was a blast despite a torrential downpour; was difficult enough that us adults still had a good time too. We got donuts, crepes and cider and some produce from the store: all were great. Pumpkin selection was great and prices were relatively competitive with other local pumpkin patches. Lots of great photo opportunities, exercise, pumpkin varieties, shopping, new experiences (apple cannon, cleaning pumpkins, walking through real corn). It does get busy, but it's well managed and a smooth process, even when it looks like a long line to enter the parking lot. The drive is also a nice bonus. We went here for the first time this past weekend for the Sunflower Experience. We bought season passes because the price point made more sense, as you get admission to all 3 experiences all season long whenever you want. This farm is gorgeous! When we arrived it was well organized. They had a sheriff/(policeman?) helping direct traffic for patrons and drivers passing through as well as attendees guiding you where to park (this was the main lot). There were a decent amount of people here but I am guessing it's not as busy as the Pumpkin Experience--especially around Halloween so we'll have to plan for that. Upon arrival we walked up towards the country store and made our way to admissions booth for check in. They have a farm dog--so cute and friendly but a little shy. Everyone working here was super friendly to patrons and each other. It is a family farm and all the employees seem to know each other well. We wait for the tractor hay ride to pull up to the admission booth area and drive us to the sunflower fields. You have the option to buy flowers individually or by mason jar $10 or bucket $20. For "all you can fit", $20 is a great deal--as we left with an enormous amount of flowers. They give you sharp sheers for cutting (brand new and worked perfectly) in exchange to hold onto your driver's license (makes sense so people don't lose them/take them). There were also two water filling stations to fill the buckets with water as they advised the flowers will immediately need it after you cut them and place into the bucket. There was also corn hole, connect four, and benches under the white tens for people to hang out over there. Walking through the fields was a beautiful experience! They have cute little rustic desks, ladders, benches etc. scattered throughout.You are at a farm, so you might get dusty feet and a little dirty (I couldn't believe that people would complain about this--you are at a real working farm, go to the grocery store if you don't want to get a little dusty/sweaty picking your own flowers, and don't wear white...c'mon peeps!) It was definitely hot so come prepared with the right shoes and bring water--although they have cold drinks and snacks/food in the country store. We stopped inside before we left the farm. They have plenty of local canned items, snacks, apparel, accessories, and more! When we come back for the Sweet Corn Experience and the Pumpkin Experience, we will definitely be buying some jams and other fall-ish items. I cannot wait! It was a lovely enjoyable day! read more

Our family loves coming here. This year we went during the week and it was very Covid Friendly. Distancing and things were clean and the staff really took Safety in mind. The store was well stocked and the play areas for kids were great. Fresh Kettle Corn always great, right. So why the loss of two stars? Corn Maze. Very muddy, ok your in a farm but also was told last hat ride was at 7. Well at 6:45 two groups of 10+ were waiting and we had to call. The driver went home early. No other way to get back with tired muddy kids but to have to walk all the way. If you say your running it to 7, run it to 7. This was a major disappointment. read more

Dang that is expensive, and it breaks my heart to come back and lower my rating but it's highway robbery at this point. We've come here for the last three years and it might be time to look elsewhere. It's $18/person if you want to do any activities- with our family of four it would've been $72. Luckily my boyfriend's parents are veterans (with ID) so we got the half off discount for immediate family, but still, for the sake of this review I'll pretend that we didn't get that discount because many people wouldn't. So it's $72 for a hayride that lasts three minutes and to walk around a field of corn for 30 minutes. I mean, we're all adults so we do not care to do any of the things geared for children. The thing is- if you got to pick one pumpkin with the price of entry and if the apple cannon was included, I wouldn't be so quick to complain. But you have to pay around $5-8 for a smaller pumpkin. On top of that, like I said, the apple cannon isn't included with this ticket which makes absolutely no sense- it's $10 for 10 apples, OR $2/shot. What the heck? They say it was to make things easier and they disguised it as a response to "customer feedback" but I'm fairly certain it's just a money grab. What a shame. I still had a good time. The corn maze was detailed, the apple cider doughnuts were delicious as usual, the pumpkins were abundant. But was it $30-ish per person fun? I wouldn't say so. So sad to give this place a one star this year! We came to this pumpkin patch probably 7 times last year with our little lady, but now they have made it unaffordable and unenjoyable. You now pay $18 per person to take your kids to any part of the pumpkin patch. Our daughter is 2 and is still $18 to do ANYTHING. Even the little hay ride down to the other pumpkin patch and all of their playgrounds. So we would pay $54 dollars for our two year, my husband and I (who is carrying our 4 month old and can't participate) for her to do anything here. Just not worth it. We will head over to one of the competing patches who doesn't charge until the child is 3 and doesn't charge for adults. I would be more than willing to pay even if it was JUST for our child, but I'm not paying for two adults to stand and watch our child play on the playground. Just disappointed. read more

To start the pumpkin patch off the hayride across the street was excellent. Such great diversity of options and even a washing station. With that being said the layout of this farm is terrible and confusing with poor signage (the "map" they hand out is not helpful). They check wristbands constantly... have they considered one entry point? Why are we checking bands at each section? It feels unwelcoming. The food is terrible like almost inedible and unless you have kids there's not much to enjoy. The cost of tickets was insanely high as well ($180 for 3). I'll end on a positive, they do provide wheelbarrows for the pumpkins however there's not a convenient place to return them at the parking lot. read more
