He came straight to my house when I called and started taking measurements. Little did I know at that time that this man would make us the dream kitchen. Shav is not just an artist and a professional, he's so flexible, honest and just a real people person. Not to mention his prices beat everyone else out of the water. I needed to replace my kitchen countertop. Did a search for kitchen remodeling and found Galant…read more I was feeling a little awkward visiting a business that does complete kitchen remodeling when all I needed was a new countertop. However, I got a good feeling as soon as I entered and was greeted by Rich, the owner. I explained that I just wanted a quartz countertop and my backsplash replaced. I didn't mention anything about a budget, and I was pleased that he didn't try to steer me to the more expensive products and then try to work down from there. We set up an appointment for him to take rough measurements to get a cost estimate, which was less than I expected based on another estimate I received in which the first thing the salesperson did was try to upsell me. I decided to go ahead with the project. A few days later, the final measurements were taken. We set up an appointment for and had the old countertop and backsplash removed. His crew was on time and did a good removal job and cleanup. Rich told me that I would get the new countertop and the backsplash would be installed within 10 days. Seven days later they were installed, very professionally and clean. One concern I had was that there had to be a seam because of the size of the countertop and I thought it would be visible. To my surprise, the seam was undetectable. They did the plumbing work and everything worked perfectly. I would highly recommend that Galant be considered when doing a kitchen remodel.

From the beginning they responded quickly. Alena is who I worked with directly in terms of the design of our cabinetry .. she came to our home and was very friendly. She measured and double checked her measurements, suggested ideas and worked with me on what I was looking for- we went back and forth via email for a few different design options and was always quick to respond when I had a question or concern (which was often because I'm a worry wart) Has something ever seemed too good to be true so you are just waiting for the "bad news" to hit? That's how I felt- everything was going too smoothly- too easily and too right to be reality. I have delt with other companies and that's always my experience- if the start is great the product is terrible or the install- always a little something- but not here! I can honestly say I'm shocked. They were fairly priced- quick & easy to work with the entire process. Down to the installation- I am thrilled with the resulting product, quality & professionalism from start to finish. I have been and will continue to recommend this company- I am also now on a search for more projects because they left my home more functional and more beautiful than it was and I want them to somehow touch every room in my house! Seriously, I can't thank them enough & once the room is finished I will gladly post the picture- I just don't want the surrounding to distract from the beauty of their work :)
