He came straight to my house when I called and started taking measurements. Little did I know at that time that this man would make us the dream kitchen. From the beginning they responded quickly. Alena is who I worked with directly in terms of the design of our cabinetry .. she came to our home and was very friendly. She measured and double checked her measurements, suggested ideas and worked with me on what I was looking for- we went back and forth via email for a few different design options and was always quick to respond when I had a question or concern (which was often because I'm a worry wart) Has something ever seemed too good to be true so you are just waiting for the "bad news" to hit? That's how I felt- everything was going too smoothly- too easily and too right to be reality. I have delt with other companies and that's always my experience- if the start is great the product is terrible or the install- always a little something- but not here! I can honestly say I'm shocked. They were fairly priced- quick & easy to work with the entire process. Down to the installation- I am thrilled with the resulting product, quality & professionalism from start to finish. I have been and will continue to recommend this company- I am also now on a search for more projects because they left my home more functional and more beautiful than it was and I want them to somehow touch every room in my house! The installation of the pavers was not done properly, confirmed by a third party inspector, so our $30K pavers are always wet and discolored. They NEVER dry. The pavers are not sloped properly, trapping moisture in our pavers - in any weather- winter or summer. The work was extremely sloppy, some edges were finished, some were left with bulging concrete. C&D is either incompetent, neglectful, dishonest or all 3. We have reached out to the owner Christ countless times for resolution to no avail. He won't take responsibility for the defective installation, despite it clearly deviating from the manufacturer specifications. 6 months later with no resolution and no reply to our last email on 12/23. Just don't do it, he's not a stand up guy and if you ever have issues - forget about it, you're stuck.

They even came early after they had a cancellation. Value seems pretty standard, which it was I could hope for. They removed the loose bricks, got rid of the bad mortar, and re-did the steps, putting the bricks back. They honored the price that we agreed upon and just went ahead and fixed everything, sealing every gap they saw.

I drove from where I live in Jamaica, Queens out to Island Park, Long Island where his shop is located and it was worth the trip. His work is mediocre at best and his behavior makes him a nightmare to work with. When he picked up my furniture, he had a full blown tantrum in the street, screaming and hollering and causing a scene for all of my neighbors to hear and see because he had never heard of homes on a "walk" and he couldn't find my house. He had a meltdown when I couldn't go to his shop with less than 24 hours notice. He lost one drawer pull from my antique dresser, and refused to apologize or take accountability, claiming that the pull wasn't on the dresser when he picked it up, despite me sending photos of the dresser prior to his possession of them. Even at furniture delivery, he placed three heavy table leaves on my brand new, $3000 crushed velvet sofa, leaving scratches in the fabric. When I told him I would pay him after I had this repaired he flipped out and threatened to steal my furniture. His exorbitant prices do not reflect craftsmanship. While a skilled refinisher can sand and evenly stain a dresser in however many hours, it will take Frank twice as long, and he will charge based on time. He makes up excuses for why certain repairs are "not possible," when the reality is that he isn't capable of certain repairs. See photos of two dressers where it is clear they are unevenly stained across the different drawers. The door in the center of the long dresser is a completely different color. He did not have the door attached until after delivery so I did not see how different the color is. He is condescending and brash, and the most unprofessional person I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Avoid at *all costs*
