His work is mediocre at best and his behavior makes him a nightmare to work with. When he picked up my furniture, he had a full blown tantrum in the street, screaming and hollering and causing a scene for all of my neighbors to hear and see because he had never heard of homes on a "walk" and he couldn't find my house. He had a meltdown when I couldn't go to his shop with less than 24 hours notice. He lost one drawer pull from my antique dresser, and refused to apologize or take accountability, claiming that the pull wasn't on the dresser when he picked it up, despite me sending photos of the dresser prior to his possession of them. Even at furniture delivery, he placed three heavy table leaves on my brand new, $3000 crushed velvet sofa, leaving scratches in the fabric. When I told him I would pay him after I had this repaired he flipped out and threatened to steal my furniture. His exorbitant prices do not reflect craftsmanship. While a skilled refinisher can sand and evenly stain a dresser in however many hours, it will take Frank twice as long, and he will charge based on time. He makes up excuses for why certain repairs are "not possible," when the reality is that he isn't capable of certain repairs. See photos of two dressers where it is clear they are unevenly stained across the different drawers. The door in the center of the long dresser is a completely different color. He did not have the door attached until after delivery so I did not see how different the color is. He is condescending and brash, and the most unprofessional person I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Avoid at *all costs*

His estimate was reasonable and his explanation as to how he would tackle the job was excellent. Based on our conversation, we hired Daniel to complete the job while we were away on vacation. Daniel came prior to our departure to prep the job (install flush mount wooden floor grates, replace a door saddle that was broken, etc). On the day we left, Daniel came to move a solid oak table and a large couch that we were unable to move ourselves. There was no additional charge for this service (we removed the remaining furniture from the areas being worked on). Daniel completed the job over a three day period while we were away. After it was completed, our adult son met Daniel to inspect the job and to satisfy the balance due. My son shared pictures of Daniel's workmanship. The floors came out absolutely amazing and unlike the last person who worked on the floors, there were no stains or marks in untreated areas and the cleanup was extraordinary. Daniel and my son also moved the table and couch back into place. We returned from vacation a couple of days ago and got to view the end result was better in person than the pictures conveyed. In my case, they took two antique chairs that were quite beat up, gave me an approximate valuation of the chairs (so I would know if I wanted to do the repairs), and I gave the go-ahead. They did a superb job in hiding or fixing scratches and bruises in the wood and discoloration in the finish, and they repaired two broken parts of the wood in one chair that had structural damage. That chair is now as good as, or better than, new in terms of structural integrity. The owner John is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have an excellent small team there. The work as completed left the chair looking as it would if it had never been damaged (say, 98%) and I am very happy with their work, their ability to explain, and the reasonable price for the work done.
