    took boat for simple servicing . But ended keeping for 2 days doing nothing and returning with huge bill. Dont recomment them.

I ended up foolishly paying $1,200 more for a fish finder that turned out to be a bait and switch. The Lowrance fish finder, as you can buy it as a consumer, has both sidescan and downscan features. The wrong transducer was installed in the boat. It was an total pain to get this point across to Richard. I sent many emails and photo proof that it was the wrong transducer. Apparently it takes several weeks for C&C to send emails to Ranger and I was told to, "Please be patience [sic]." After bugging Richard multiple times (actually about literally 30 emails), he finally got Ranger to agree to install a new transducer. I naively assumed they would install the sidescan AND downscan unit, which is the common version available to the consumer. But then didn't. I drove for five hours to have them install a transducer than only had downscan. And I didn't figure this out until I was on the water. I would have gladly paid the difference in getting the right unit, but Richard/Ranger again baited and switched. On top of it, he tries to make the customer feel bad for asking him questions and bothering him, after just having spent many thousands of dollars. I went out of my way to deal with a mom-and-pop shop. Thinking that was a naive choice.

Called numerous places throughout Northern California but was turned me down everywhere because they are 10+ years old. Found NorCal watercraft on Yelp and decided to give them a call to see if they can inspect & do a much needed tune-up in hopes of being able to run these skis before the summer ended. They said no problem bring them in . They were up & running within a timely manner. Took them to the river this weekend & they both ran great like new. They also educated me as I am a beginner with water-crafts, what to do & look for, how to properly winterize, and answered all my questions. Highly recommend!!!     I have two jets skis a 2005 Seadoo GTX and a 2005 Yamaha FX Cruiser. I took them both in for an…read moreoil change and tune-up but also had an issue with the Seadoo start/stop switch. I was pressed for time and had a small window to get this done. I called and spoke to Nathan and he was able to accommodate my schedule and get the job done and on time. A bit about the service. I did receive a call from Nathan about my jet skis and he was able to thoroughly provide a status and clearly explained what he found. My main concern was the switch, he tested the switch and the relay and everything was good. He told me how to rectify the problem and did not recommend changing any parts. I asked about replacing with new parts and he told me it would function the same. I appreciated his honesty and was pleased he did not take advantage of an opportunity to make more money! The customer service was outstanding! I talked to both Nathan and Marina and they both were nice and pleasant. When I arrived they both greeted me and helped me unhook my trailer. When I came to pick up my jet skis, Nathan showed me my old parts and explained what was done. Marina took my payment and they both assisted with hooking up my trailer. I definitely will be back to winterize and service my jet skis. Great job Nathan and Marina!

    This review is late, but I really wanted to see how the repair faired during normal use. I had…read morework done almost a year ago for a side panel that came loose and bent back in transit. It was a partial aluminum panel against a window running along the front edge of my trailer. Not a too complicated repair, but you still want the repair to hold up and NOT look like a repair. Customer service was simply amazing. Rachelle was on top of every thing. From my initial call to responding to my calls and emails, and delivery, she was on top of it. Being the face of the company, you always want someone who knows how to take care of you and answer all your questions. If she didn't have the answer, she got back to me in a timely manner. She dealt with my insurance company and I rarely had to relay any information back and fore. As for the repair, the repair looks great. Paint was matched very well, but to be fair, my trailer is only 5+ years old at the time and well-cared for. The biggie was them matching the decals on my trailer for the panel that was repaired/replaced, which was great. The only evidence something was done was with new sealant. That being said, I did find some minor things like a loose marker light that was not properly sealed and secured, and similar things to tighten up. Because I maintain my trailer frequently from washing to tightening things up, like most trailer users should do, it was not hard to spot. Overall, I am very happy with the work provided and incredibly impressed by the service provided by Rachelle. I would highly recommend them from my experience. That being said, I have only taken the trailer out a few times on short trips under mild conditions since the repair. I will provide any appropriate updates if I have any issues.

Best thing to do is price out the part you need from a new retailer. Next ask your self do I have the time and energy to deal with the frustration of dealing with the aftermath if this USED part doesn't work out or I feel shafted afterwards? If you answered yes to the previous then keep reading... this place has no clue in accuracy the cars that come and go on a daily basis off the top of their head.. they are as accurate as your favorite weather man from Chanel 2 telling you the weather for valentine's day of next year. Now the place is a wrecking yard expect stuff to be broken or faulty or you may get lucky and get out of the bind you are in with the part you aquire here. If you are lucky enough to strike the opportunity in developing an acquaintance with the eccentric, rough around the edges, knowledgeable yet hit and miss owner Sam you may get a different out look on your next parts hunting adventures. That has been my case thus far. Now the guys in the yard them too aren't the most polish of the bunch but they are performing an honest man's work. Their fragrance of choice is diferential fluid from a 91 ford F150 they don't wear their Sundays best to work, nor do they they bring their holier-than-thou attitude to work Its a wrecking yard!!! If you are faint at heart don't go in person invent the next app [Uber wrecking yard parts] you may become a millionaire and won't have to seek used part from a wrecking yard. For all we know we may be able to telaport from place to place soon enough to not need wrecking yards any more. So next time you visit this or any other wrecking yard take into account the service they provide and bring your best attitude forward even when you have made the wrong choice to seek the part from a wrecking yard. Because last time I talked to wrecking yard owners they don't do cold calls or home visits to get your possible business or frustration when we become the pain in the rear seal customer.
