What started out as a good experience, turned sour as the job progressed…read more We hired them for an old pool remodel. Start date was slated as 6/27- they started 6/25.... so far so good. Communication was great. Our pool had some major problems once they got into the structure ... so, it understandably was going to cost more and time frame would be longer ( not the 2 weeks they stated). There were rain delays...understandable. But, here we are in late September... some items were left unfinished.... as soon as they got their final payment... crickets....Not to mention that when they came to prepare the pavers for the sealant, they blew all of the debris that was on the deck... INTO THE BRAND NEW FILLED POOL! CONCRETE, TILE, LEAVES, PIECES OF PAVER! They just left it there... We were LIVID. We converted to a salt water pool, they did not put the salt in.... never a word on who would provide the salt and finalize the conversion, never a response to our texts, they FINALLY put the lanai screen doors back on ... in September...and were going to put new door closures on... they just left them here for my husband to do... my sparkling pool rail at the steps is now stained and tarnished with who knows what.... did they try and clean it off... heck no! I have tried numerous products to bring it back to it's original shine. These are small details... but it was the frustration along the way that makes me say I will never refer them. We made the final payment, my husband texted the contact person with questions... we have never heard back from them. We owned a business for over 48 years... if I had left a clients home like this, I wouldn't have been in business for that long. All in all, my pool is beautiful, but, the frustration along the way was too much.

Our pool was delivered and we made all the payments very quickly. When it came time to do the punch list it's like Ritzcraft vanished . When we reached out , oh we are busy right now , out there as soon as we can ! . So far nothing . My husband had to fix pavers that were busted by electrical contractors and cover up that nasty looking pipe ! You would think $100,000 in few months would get you service and professionalism's ?! Not !

Starting such a huge project as installing a pool can be troubling, given the risks of hiring a…read moreshady/undependable company to do the work and the horror stories you hear. Thankfully, Elite Pool Designs put all of our fears to rest thanks to their amazing customer service, fair prices and excellent, high quality work. We previously had a koi pond in our backyard but, as the fish died out, realized we wanted something else back there instead. We reached out to Elite Pool and Cyndi and she came over the next day to assess our yard. As we had no idea where to start, she helped guide us through the whole process, connecting us with surveyors, tree removal experts and all of the other hidden things you don't think about when you decide "I want a pool". After the work to get the yard ready was done, we went to the Elite Pool offices to pick out the tile, lining and design of the pool. Cyndi walked us through the shape and features we wanted, and provided a very reasonable quote for everything, including, automation, a heater for the pool (hey it DOES sometime get cold here!) and a screen enclosure. Construction for the pool started in October 2024 and finished in late January 2025, and our hat goes off to Robert (owner of Elite Pool) for his help with managing the entire project. Crews arrived as needed and on time, and though there were some periods between steps where not a lot of work was being done, it was never unreasonable and given the holidays, totally fair. Inspection and electrical were simple and easy and now we are ready to enjoy our pool! For anyone in our same position, looking to install a pool from scratch but not sure where to turn, Elite Pool Design should be your first call, can't recommend them highly enough!

Needed wheels fixed on the vacuum and they told me take it myself to Pinch a Penny. His is after a $125 service charge. More than triple charged me for plugs for my pool fence. On April 1, 2024, I entered into an agreement with the contractor for the complete installation of…read morea swimming pool at my property located in Palm Beach County, FL. The total agreed downpayment was $27,792.95, which I paid in full upfront via wire transfer. This payment represented the contract down-payment to start work. The contractor assured me the work would begin promptly, including obtaining necessary permits from Palm Beach County and commencing excavation, plumbing, structural, and finishing work. However, no permits were obtained (I confirmed this with Palm Beach County Building Division records). No work of any kind has been performed on the site and we had to hire a different contractor. I first became aware that the contractor had no intention of performing the work in October 2024, when repeated requests for updates, start dates, or progress went unfulfilled beyond vague excuses. Since then, I have maintained ongoing contact with the contractor via text messages and calls. In every communication, the contractor has acknowledged receipt of my payment but provided only stories and promises of repayment or future action, with no actual refund or meaningful resolution. Examples include: Promises to "send a check next week" that never materialized. Claims of "financial issues" or "waiting on suppliers" without evidence. Assurances that work would start "soon" repeated with zero follow-through. This pattern demonstrates financial dishonesty/misconduct (misuse or misappropriation of funds paid for a specific project) and abandonment of the job after receiving substantial payment without just cause or written extension. The contractor has failed to commence work within required timelines under F.S. 489.126 and has not refunded any portion despite demands. This has caused me significant financial harm ($27,792.95 lost), and emotional distress.
