I had the most fun at this bar ever! I really enjoyed the beer, the food, the other customers, and the service! Beer: They had a deal for 3 pints for $10 and we were all in. I tried the Black IPA, Brown Ale, and red IPA. I loved the black IPA and the brown ale! The beer was solid and they have a lot off choices! Food: we got wings, onion rings, and the deviled eggs. The wings were smaller but tasty and flavorful. They had a nice crispness to tHem and were tender at the same time. The onion rings were perfect! THe deviled eggs change eacH month!! Ours were the creole shrimp deviled eggs and they were really great!

Great burgers, bar food and beer selection. Will soon have their own beer brewed on premises. Live music on a regular basis, check the calendar at: bobtownbrewhouse.com Laid back atmosphere and good times- what more do you want?

Great place to hang, small but good beer list on tap, and excellent high quality food. Definetly worth a trip to Bobtown.

Good food and beer. It was more of a typical bar and grill rather than a brewpub atmosphere.

The bartender (Ashley) was awesome and a sweetheart. She was quite busy with the volleyball teams outside, but she juggled everything very well, First and foremost, it looks like a sports bar. Don't be put off by that, or an almost full parking lot. There is table service inside and there may be folks on the deck or playing sports outside. I didn't have a chance to try anything else but the pizzas look fantastic and quite a few were ordered by regulars, so they must be good. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this place!

Thing is that one of the bars only has two Yelp reviews (one of them is mine), and this one only has 22. Either the places want to stay incognito, or the clientele want to keep certain elements out. If the latter is the case, then they blew it with me. I managed to sneak by their ever vigilant eyes. I, a tourist from Southern California, sporting a USC hat, at first sight looked out of place. I was initially stared down. It wasn't until they noticed that I was wearing a Hudson Raiders hoody that I was welcomed. Not with open arms, mind you, but let's just say that I was accepted. I was my jovial self and told them that it was ok to stare. Someone as handsome as I gets that all the time. The ice was broken. Starr's is a cool place. If you're a sports fan, you'll love the number of TVs scattered throughout. Literally one for each game no matter what the sport. Your choices of beer are just as numerous. It was fun sitting at the bar looking across at the locals tying one on. When new patrons filed in a quick cursory spy would give them the thumbs up. It's huge inside. I can only imagine what it's like when there's a full house. The food menu looks sufficient to meet the want of anyone needing to soak up the myriad of exotic beers ingested. A dad with 3 kids was doing just that. The dad, not the kids. They all looked happy. Either the kids were extremely well-behaved, or the food was so good that they didn't have to complain. Which is more than I can say about John, who was accompanying me on this tour of the north end. Quick Tip: Ample parking is available at Starr's. But park in the back behind the building. When it comes time to explain to your spouse where the hell you were for the past 3 hours, I wasn't at Starrs honey. Did you see my car there? Had you driven past the library, then your question would have been answered. If they ask, then why do you smell like a brewery? Just say free samples at Walmart.

NEXT!!! Next? Oh, I forgot that I'm in Wisconsin. There's always a next in Wisconsin. Where I'm from, you usually plant yourself in one location and hope that they find your curled up self in a corner before they close. Such as it is, let's do this. As we made our way to the backside of the Garage, we find ourselves part of a scattered group of revelers who were all imbibing of the product. That product being, of course, beer. The equal of humanity. The handshake of nations. The reason for our visit. And for good reason, the purpose was to indulge, and that we did. My buddy suggested that we get a jump on the season and have an Oktoberfest. I had to remind him that it being the waning days of September, we were already in the midst. Oktoberfest was well under way. "Semantics, he said, let's just get a damn beer!" Good idea, John, good idea. We both chose an Oktoberfest. Ice cold it arrived to the bar mat, and ice cold it went down. The day was unusually warm for this time of year, so the cold beverage was a treat as we lounged in the Adirondack chairs under the tarp. This was the life. Not a care in the world. Relaxing and watching as the world passed by. Which included a string of pearls who were on parade. Each flaunting their late summer attire. An unexpected pleasure? Or is this the norm for The Garage Bikes and Brew. I'd say that it's worth a repeat visit. Wouldn't you? Quick Tip: There's a stage under the big top. Music can be had if you time it right. Seems our timing is never right. Such was the case on this occasion. The band was packing up when we settled in. We didn't pack it in though. We stayed and enjoyed the beer, and the scenery.

The place has ample room and two bars. One inside in the AC (or heat depending on season) and the other outdoors which doubles as the smoking lounge. There is also an outdoor area for bags & shuffle board(they have leagues), and other shenanigan's. Cheap Andy's, now officially open for about 9 months, has that rustic yet modern feel and enough variety in booze, beer, and food that most anyone will be satisfied. Their menu also goes through a bit of the history of the location (which other reviews mention) which is kind of interesting if you are into that thing. The inside bar itself is a classic thing of beauty and was beautifully redone. We opted for a sausage onion pizza and some tots and both were tasty. The thin crust 'za, comes cut in squares and if it could've been just cooked a titch more(maybe just a minute or two it was that close), would easily give Carbone's and the old Savoy a run for their money. The tots? Well seriously, how can you screw those up (even though it has happened)? These were a crispy perfection that came with a side of seasoned sour cream. My bloody Mary I ordered virgin style was delicious and it didn't even need that usual shot of tequila that I typically like to enjoy mixed in. But sitting at the bar, it's the little things you notice. There was one dude in the kitchen handling it all. Onion rings getting hand coated and dropped in the fryer one at a time. The house blend of bloody Mary mix behind the bar ready to go to satisfy ones Sunday cravings. The ambiance, perfect for a Sunday afternoon, not too loud but busy. All in all, it's definitely worth checking out and I'll be back as there are daily specials offered too (check their FB page).
