Went for lunch with the family after a hockey tourney in the area. The restaurant/bar consists of a handful of electronic slot machines, the claw rubber duck machine for kids (the best), and pull tabs. I ordered the house salad with western and shared wings with my father in law. The boneless wings were just okay (tangy gold). I do not recommend their fries which weren't anything special. My hubby ordered the olive burger and said it was unfortunately overcooked. The servers/bartenders were nice. As a side note, you need to order everything at the bar. read more

We went on Wednesday as they have a special for wings. The group we went with had recommended it to us. It was a typical bar atmosphere. I was thinking that we would not have to spend very much as we had wings which were only a dollar. I was really surprised on the price for beer. It was much higher than I have encountered at many other establishments in the area. The food was good, however the price for beer was to high. Not sure I'll be back. read more

I had the most fun at this bar ever! I really enjoyed the beer, the food, the other customers, and the service! Beer: They had a deal for 3 pints for $10 and we were all in. I tried the Black IPA, Brown Ale, and red IPA. I loved the black IPA and the brown ale! The beer was solid and they have a lot off choices! Food: we got wings, onion rings, and the deviled eggs. The wings were smaller but tasty and flavorful. They had a nice crispness to tHem and were tender at the same time. The onion rings were perfect! THe deviled eggs change eacH month!! The beer is fantastic. The smoothest beers I've had from a local Brewhouse, hands down. My only issue with this place is the feel; the locals sort of drive newcomers away by creating an uncomfortable environment. Fortunately, their beer makes up for it. They also sell huge cans (I believe they're 32oz) of their beer to take home. Screamin' Laurie and Rally Ale were my favorites. My husband is from Niagara Falls/Buffalo, so we are always on the search for good wings, Buffalo style. The first time we came here we were so pleased with the wings; the owner said he had been with Buffalo Wild wings, and they were great; fried crispy and good sauce. The next couple of times, they were also good. The last four visits have been so disappointing, one time they brought "boneless" wings?? Nuggets? They have never been fried crisp enough, tiny little wings, flabby skin. We went last week for one more try, asked to have them crisp, after quite some time they appeared with flabby goose-bump skin and wimpy sauce. Any other items we have had on the menu were OK, but we will not be going back anytime soon. read more

While visiting my favorite local brewery, a fellow patron mentioned a great brew pub in Robert's, Wisconsin. It was time to grab some dinner so we decided to give it a shot. I'm sure glad we did. My son and I both had burgers. Absolutely fantastic! Fresh, custom ground beef perfectly cooked. We tried their IPA and their oatmeal stout. Both were very good. Spent some time chatting with the owner, Mike. He has a clear vision of what he's building and the quality he wants. We'll definitely be back soon! read more

If you are hungry, do not go here!! I had read this place had great wings and beer so I told my family we should try it. What a disappointment! We ordered wings and cheese curds and it took 1 hour and 45minutes!!! It's self serve by ordering at the bar which is fine but it's not obvious when you enter and no one told us. Had to leave after an hour of waiting and bring daughter to an event 1 town away (8miles) without being fed. By the time I got back, the rest of my family were just served food. The cheese curds were hollow (awful) and the wings were fine. If you like hops, you will probably like their beers as most of them are bitter... so not my liking. Another couple next to us waited just as long and were served when we were leaving. How do you run this place w 1 bartender and 1 cook and it wasn't even busy inside! Stopped in at Bobtown Brewhouse for the first time this evening. No welcome. Sat down and no one approached us ever. Went to the bar ordered a few cokes and asked if we could order food. A bartender took our order at the bar and handed us the sodas. The cook should have worn gloves when she was handling the fries and buns and meat with her bare hands, after she just got done making change for someone at the bar. When the food arrived, we never even received a hello from the waitress, she never asked if she could get us anything else, never even said "enjoy your food." Hamburger meat was okay, bun was dried out. Fries were good. Chicken sandwich was only lukewarm in the middle and looked more like it was warmed in a micro rather than on a grill. Very unappetizing. Sweet Potato fries were lukewarm. We never saw a waitress after the delivery of the food. Last time we will go there. Not the way to run a business. read more

Went here for burgers after seeing the unanimous 5 star reviews. After the waitress took our order it was the last we saw of her. A generous 30 minutes later we saw a woman come with a bag of buns....we didn't stay to find out if they had remembered to pick up the burger. read more

Although the bartender had a busy motorcycle rally at hand, he made chicken wings even though the kitchen was closing due to the rally. Excellent effort and very good wings--nice beer selection, and a reasonable place. Worth a visit if you're in the area. read more
