We went to this brewery for a light lunch and beers! The service team was awesome, made suggestions on the beers to go with our lunch. They also offer free refills on the root beer! The food was tasty, I had the smoked chicken nachos! Over all the space is nice and spacious. While there was a decent crowd it never got too loud and never felt like crowded. I'm thinking of excuses to be out this way to return! Definitely recommend checking it out! read more

This is solid choice for a brewery visit in the beautiful Hudson WI area. Sitting outside on the patio included great throwback music (think Abba) and the ability to chat with my dining partners. Unfortunately, the end of April can still be really cold in the upper Midwest- so once a table inside became available we moved inside. The bummer inside is it was crowded and loud. The beer is quite good. The French Toast Ale was yummy- amped by the cinnamon and sugar rim. Milk Stout and Dopplebock were well liked. Loon Juice Cider was also tasty. The food is a bit mixed. The huge pretzel was soft and delicious. It comes with 3 dips- the nacho cheese sauce was my favorite, but the ale mustard and pub cheese were also good. The night's pizza special was taco- and the thin crust was ok but it was a bit like a sausage pizza with lettuce and ranch on it. If you've had good taco pizza this would probably disappoint. If you are in Hudson in a brewery mood- I would recommend Pitchfork. read more

Our last stop in Hudson, Wisconsin before going back to Minnesota we stopped here. Parking lot was slam full not long after being opened. The brewery was nice and cool a nice break from the summers heat. The beers were refreshing nice and clean flavors. The owner personally gave us as many samples of their beers as we wanted that visit. If given the time I could see myself talking with the staff about beer whilst consuming it. read more

So good! We hadn't been here for a couple of years, but wanted to try the Thai chicken pizza special. Unfortunately it had ended, but we had the pitchfork pizza with pulled chicken, a kids cheese pizza and the German pretzel. Everything was amazing! We loved sitting outside. Tried this place based on the reviews, and boy, you guys are right! The Smoked Meat Pizza, loaded with all 3 meats, has literally gotta be the best pizza I've ever had!! Crust was perfect, balance of Smoked/BBQ flavors was excellent! Then there's the beers!! I sampled 4, and as strange as it sounds, the French Toast Beer was, surprisingly, awesome!! (whaaattt???) We were first introduced to Pitchfork several years ago and loved it many batch beers. They were good and there was a restaurant next door, although we never went to it. Brewery had a hometown bar vibe that we loved. They moved to a new location just as covid was shutting everything down. We never got a chance to visit it again until fairly recently. New building is probably five times bigger than before. That hometown vibe is still there. Beer is great with a wide selection. And now they have their own kitchen. Food is outstanding. Service is the same as it was before and one of the things we like best about the brewery. read more

I really like Pitchfork Brewing - great beer and surprisingly awesome food! Pitchfork is in a huge, brand new building just north of the big truck stop. They're easy to find. And they have a giant parking lot with plenty of space. I tried the Thistle Scottish Ale and it was excellent. It was dark and hoppy, just the way I like it. They have an interesting variety of beers on tap (see photo) The food was also great. I got the Loaded Smokehouse Nachos and the Jalapeno Popper Pizza. It was a huge quantity of food so I had plenty to take home for leftovers. My friend tried the Smoked Italian Sausage Supreme Pizza - again, very good. The place is huge and spacious. I worked at the blood drive this week at the brewery. I was VERY impressed at the cleanliness and the whole vibe at this brewery. Great variety of ever changing varieties. Something for everyone, even my non-beer drinking husband. American gothic IPA, my favorite and still in rotation. The west coast ipa is also great, but sells out fast. I'm not an Oktoberfest fan, but I've heard it's phenomenal. The staff is EXCELLENT and will help you sample and make a good choice you'll like. The owner is TOP NOTCH to his customers. Also have small bites, but can order from Paddy Ryan's for meals and they'll bring your food over. read more

I probably could have gone another couple years without knowing of this place if it wasn't for Yelp. Was reading the recent reviews from Yelp legend (and new Western Wisconsin resident) Lorraine N, and saw her 5-star for here. What What Whaat? A brewery in Hudson that I was not aware of? Must check it out. Take exit 4 off of 94 eastbound, and Pitchfork is just on the north side of the interstate in a strip mall on the frontage road. It is right next door to Paddy Ryan's Irish Pub where I have been a few times in the past but several years ago (I hardly ever take exit 4). Dimly lit and kind of small place. Two tables, two booths and maybe 12-15 bar stools. They have eight beers on tap which rotate. Tonight they had Pitchfork Pale, Cranberry Cheer Ale, American Gothic IPA, Grain Witch Black IPA, Kolsch, Smoked Scottish Ale, Hayride Pumpkin Porter and Barn Door Brown Ale. Went with the two IPA's. I'm not really good at writing lengthy, detailed descriptions of food or beer. I just know if I liked it or not. I LIKED the beers here, and how. Hungry? You can get a limited number of appetizers from Paddy Ryan's next door which they will bring over for you (all of which use Pitchfork beer as one of their ingredients). The full menu is not available in the taproom, but if you want a full meal just walk over there and pop a squat (which you can do without going outside). I highly recommend the Irish Sausage Rolls. The buttery croissants they come in are almost as good as the sausage. Check Pitchfork out sometime if you are in the vicinity. I doubt you will be disappointed. read more

We went there right as they were opening. The brewer was amazing & friendly. He gave us a tour & had a lot of knowledge about beer. Cool brewery that is located not far past the border of MN & WI. I did a few flights & had every beer they offered. Everything was delicious including their homemade root beer. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Super chill/friendly environment. Excellent & diverse beer. If I lived closer, I would definitely be a regular. Recommendation: Do flights and try all of their beers. Then get a pint of your favorite. Try their homemade root beer too. They don't have food, but there are places nearby. You should also do the tour if you get a chance. It's a small brewery and the tours are only offered at certain times, but mine was very informative. read more

This brewery has the dumbest location. Its in a weird strip mall in the country and hard to find. Was given some samples and girl bar tender proceeded to ignore us after we ordered to chat with some men at bar. Thought about getting a growler but didn't feel like rewarding poor customer service. One of my least favorite breweries ever. Stay longer at Hop and Barrel at least they care about their customers. read more

Mike is a master brewer and the beers he and his staff produce are some of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend. The ONLY thing I do not like is that all of the pizzas they make here are very "fancy". For the love of god just offer a plain pepperoni pizza with regular sauce. I am tell you, it would be the best seller on the menu. Pizzas with bbq sauce as the main base and mayo based sauces spread over the top are inedible to me. Just add that one normal pizza to the list and you will make more money than all of the other pizza offerings combined. Other than that, this is a great place to have an excellent brew at a reasonable cost and get to meet some awesome people. read more
