I had a 7 day cruise set for the Caribbean with great soca music and many many people with high definition camera phones and professionals taking footage. At no point did I want someone to have me on a big screen with a wedgy in the back and my pubes peeking out in the front. I go online to book. That part is pretty easy but I never got a confirmation. I call a few days before cruise and learn the service was scheduled for a few hours later. I go to the gym, grocery store, home for a shower, and pop a maximum strength IBUPROFEN. I'm just getting prepared to not be able to walk (the issue I had at the last place I tried 4 months earlier)! Easily park, walk in and welcomed. Waiting room is clean and bright. Person at desk tells me about website issue and bathroom in the back. Makes it easier to be nosy and see it's just as clean throughout and no one is screaming their guts outs as a walk the hall. I empty my nervous bladder, wash and baby wipe myself, then tuck my panties in my purse before going back to front. My person greets me and quickly takes me back. I layback and for a minute twitch cause I except to put my feet in stirrups. I'm talked into a yoga move and a few calming touches with a perfectly tempered waxing stripe I'm relaxed. My phone alarm goes off killing the vibe. MY person - we've bonded - asks to pass my purse. I agree and grab my phone out while they continue great service. I was in pain a few seconds that quickly goes away by the time I'm told to turn over and hold my cheeks apart. I felt as good as a new dress with pockets when I'm done and panties roll smoothly back on. I tip my person. I'm in my car when I get another alarm goes off. Somehow I called the last person that called me on WhatsApp and record a video to include the one time that I ooooohhhh shhhhiiittt when hairs were pulled from the root. It was a wonderful time! Only thing on video were images of my feet and one leg. No pubes in sight. It hadn't sent! But I will now add muting calls and alarms before I go back for more great service.

I call the salon and Michelle the receptionist assure me that they would take both groupons and do the service.After getting out of work early to make it to the appointment, I arrive at the salon and the owner ( I think that's who she was) told me that she doesn't take groupons anymore, because they steal money from her etc and that it was the mistake of the receptionist. I explain the situation to her that I called and I made sure of all the terms before I even bought the groupon and made the appoinment. She just tells me to get a refund from groupon. She tells me she has someone ready but I ask her if at least a discount or something would be applied because the groupon was a special price, I tried to show her how much they were and she respond i know what the groupon said I put them there she adds.Then she says that it would full price. I said no thank you and left.I cannot believe this person has their own salon. What happened to make it right with the customer?. It was not my mistake. We lucked out as we only had a short wait -- even though they were exceptionally busy for a Wednesday afternoon. The shop was bright and clean. I picked out my polishes from the racks up front and found the perfect blue for my toes. I did the pedicure first. It was lovely to relax and be pampered. And the hot towels and leg massage were an added plus. Then I had a manicure as well. Henry (English name for Huigh?) was my technician for both procedures. He was gentle on my sensitive skin. And took time to do everything just right. I felt like a new person afterwards. We also got to meet the"new" owner, Amy, who was very welcoming and personable. She did my husband's pedicure. So when I made the appointment online I put in notes I have keratin treated hair but when I went to book it kept giving me weird error message about credit card so I called. They did not ask if I had any special treatment or anything but did ask on hair length and said they may charge extra which I was fine with. I arrived at my appointment and was greeted quickly by the stylist who quickly whisked me to the back to begin shampoo. She didn't ask me anything about my hair and quickly began shampooing. I learned from overhearing her talking to another stylist that she used clarifying shampoo.. which is a no-no for keratin treated hair. :( Then she put on what I assumed was the deep conditioner but not sure as she wasn't really talking to me. Just seemed very rushed. I tried to make small talk with her but she wasn't really having it so I gave up. She put me in this chair with red lights behind it which was cool- way better than standard heated station (whatever they call it)..but one of the lamps died and no one noticed as they were too busy talking to one another. When she came to get me I pointed it out but she just said "that's fine". After basic "how do you want your hair blown" and I said straight, she got to work. No heat protectant or anything like that. Double boo. My only thought with the not much talking etc was maybe she assumed I was "just" a Groupon customer, one to be tolerated but in and out as quickly as possible. Not realizing that 1) I tip very well and 2) I can't tell you how many businesses I've become a regular paying customer at because of an initial Groupon deal. (I've been seeing my eyebrow girl for 14 years due to a Groupon, my regular hair salon for 6 years, etc.) It's a shame as I live very close to this salon but probably won't be returning as I felt kind of unwelcome here and didn't get the best service.
