I'm sorry but I have no idea how this store has such a high rating. I came here specifically because I saw pictures of red bottoms on the reviews, and they looked great. I brought him a pair of mine, he asked no questions and just said come back on Monday, which was about a week later. When I came back on Monday, he said I was there too early and needed to come back later in the day. I live in Miami, so this is not an easy ask. It seems like he had not worked on them the entire week that he had them. When I got them, they were in worst condition than when I dropped them off. He said that he was going to clean them, they were not cleaned. But the WORST of all, was that instead of fixing the scuffs on the bottom, he replaced the entire bottom and now they look absolutely horrendous! See pictures. I can't speak for his work on other shoes, but do NOT bring your expensive ones here. He charged me $50 to make my shoes look worse! I'm so disappointed and will not be returning. EVER. I bought a pair of J-Lo boots that look AMAZING!!! But since my legs are thin I wanted the boots to be customized to my legs. This shop was highly recommended so I decided to bring them in. I was a little nervous because I paid a lot for the boots. I am sooooo... happy with the work done. It only took a week and he was able to customize the boots to perfection. I get a lot of compliments on my boots and they look like nothing was ever changed. He did such an outstanding job. Thank you for making my boots even more fabulous than they were before. I wish I could give this man a 0. He is cheap, unapologetic, and a jerk. I saved up to buy brand new $1200 Prada shoes. I immediately brought them to him to put protection underneath. I go to pick them up and there is a cut in the leather and wear and tear. I go back and explain to him I worked hard for these shoes and trusted him to take care of them. I said I would like him to reimburse me for these shoes as they were never worn and showed him the receipt. He refused to admit fault and could not see what was wrong with them but kept telling me he would fix it. I let him try and "fix" the shoes which I probably should not have and afterwards no apology and the tear in the shoe is still somewhat visible. I asked that he at least reimburse for the service charge of something like ~$60 given he did tear my shoes. He said for what? It's fixed? I stated that was horrible given he messed them up on the first place and that I would write a review online. He said "go ahead I have pictures to post and reply saying you're wrong anyways". Fabulous job fixing my shoes and very friendly customer service! I really beat my shoes and purses up so i am very happy to have found somebody who can fix them for an affordable price and that has proven I can trust with my items! My item this time was Tory Burch Miller sandals. The thong attachment came out of the toe, and the soles were worn down to the very thinnest it could be. I tripped a couple times causing the front to be scraped. The gentleman applied a brand new sole, refinished the front of the toes, as well as reinforced the thong strap. I have not used them yet, but they seem strong and I feel confident I can use these on my upcoming vacation without doubt. I will return for more services and highly recommend for others! Went here for a quick heel replacement. Super friendly cobbler. He fixed them right away in less than 10 mins for $7. I was very pleases. However, after a few wears the heel tip just fell out of one shoe. Tried to pop it back in but it would not stick. Will give them another try, maybe it was just the wrong diameter tip. read more

I asked the man at the shop if he could remove the mold from my Coach leather laptop bag. He said he could without a problem, he suggested some touchups on the bag to rejuvenate the bag. He charged me approximately $100 and stated it would be ready in seven days. I returned on the day he said it would be ready and my bag was wet. It was not ready. he told me to come back in a few days because it wasn't ready to be picked up. He did not call me to let me know that it was not ready. I drove out there to pick it up on the day he mentioned. When I came back to pick it up the following week, he had stained the laptop bag completely a different color, darker than the original color. I am very unhappy with the color that it now has. And I don't trust that he took care of the mold. I will have to have it done by someone else, but I do not want to give it back to him And risk having it ruined any further. read more

I absolutely do NOT recommend this place to anyone. I brought a Gucci belt in to be cut last week and when I went to go pick it up it was almost 10 inches shorter than I asked for. Ricardo was completely unapologetic and kept telling me that he could redo it for me with the leather that he had there in his store. I paid $450 for the belt and he was trying to tell me that he could replace the calfskin leather for the cheap leather in his shop. I refused to accept that option and I asked to be compensated for the price I paid for the belt. He kept telling me that the belt wasn't worth $450 dollars and refused to cut me a check for that amount not even half that amount. He then told me that he will buy a new Gucci belt for me and it will cost him $50. I asked him where he was buying an authentic real Gucci belt for $50 and he told he has a guy in New York City that he can get it from. For someone who work in retail and the customer service industry, I knew exactly where he was going with that, I told him I don't want a piece of counterfeit designer trash from Chinatown or Canal St. in NYC. I said I want to see the receipt of the Gucci belt that you are going to buy, and he questioned me saying why do I need to see a receipt? I asked him to please call whomever he knows and order me the new belt in front of me and he told me he can't do that, that it's a process. All the more reason to know he was completely lying to my face. His attitude was completely disgusting and his level of service was equally as disgusting. As someone who has referred so many of my clients to his shop and given him business and he was so unwilling to do absolutely anything to accommodate HIS mistake. He didn't even offer to refund me the $19 I paid for him to initially cut the belt down for me. I had to walk back in after leaving to demand a refund. To find out at the end of all of this that he was the owner of this shop was disgusting that he couldn't care less to loose a customer and all the business I've brought to him in the past year. I will NEVER step foot in his shop again. read more

I have been to Boca Best Shoe Repair twice. The first time was an emergency shoe repair. My daughter was performing in a musical and broke the strap on her dance shoe. We ran the shoe over between the matinee and evening performance. The owner quickly sewed it back on and reinforced all the stitching on both shoes. He really saved the day! The other time (also my daughter) broke the zipper on some sandals. The owner fixed the zipper and the sandals are as good as new. This location is in the Outback Steakhouse strip mall sitting behind the front stores. His prices are also very good. The zipper repair was only $14.99. I will be a returning customer. read more
