My father is a dentist and looked at the X-rays and explained that I needed one for buildup under the gum lines and this was several years ago, he also explained they are only necessary under certain circumstances and originally I fit that, again 2-3 years ago. I was 52 at the time and never needed one while my dad practicing until I was 45, this is NOT normally needed at all. Anyways I explained to them I'd do a regular cleaning and had to argue with them to get that. I go in and the hygienist says I was scheduled for a deep cleaning. My Oral Surgeon basically told me to look elsewhere to get my crown done because it's NOT the implant/ OK.... so I found Dr. Ghalloub When I spoke with Dr. Ghalloub he was so friendly, upfront and easy to talk to. What I noticed mostly was that HE LISTENED and didn't consistently talk over me. I admit when I was first informed by Sharon on Dr. Ghalloub's staff that he doesn't use other dentists crowns I was ready to pull my hair out. Nevertheless, that was a blessing! After answering questions we set a date for me to come back for my implant impression. On my second visit it was time to get my crown installed! I was like....Ok..This better work! I could immediately tell the difference in skill when Dr. Ghalloub started actually maneuvering in my mouth, no fumbling at all!!! The process was as smooth as butter.!! It was like 1,2,3.. Ok your done! I had ad my crown placed in September of 2020 and have not had any issues whatsoever with my crown. It's solid as a rock! Your insurance info is saved in the app, so you pick a time, book and you're done. I've seamlessly used Zocdoc quite a few times and really like the app alot. Today was the first issue. On the day of the appointment here, I showed up promptly, showed the receptionist my appointment in the app, but was told, no, there is no appointment. Apparently when you book with this provider on Zocdoc they don't actually make or honor the Zocdoc appointment. They just have you come in and try to shoehorn you into a different day and time. THAT'S NOT HOW ZOCDOC WORKS! The Zocdoc appointment is SUPPOSED TO BE the appointment. That's the whole point of Zocdoc. To make it easy for people to schedule. It's not supposed to be a lead generator where you don't honor appointments and then figure it all out later. That's ridiculous. I took time out of my busy schedule for nothing. Outrageous. Really disappointed with them for wasting my time and for not following Zocdoc procedures.
