I called to ask a tech question to make sure it is DOA, expecting to need to purchase a new one. I get some clown on the phone who wants to be 110% sure I purchased from THEM before he would help me. He even went so far as to ask for my "Order number" from 7 years ago. THIS shows their true colors, it is all about the DOLLARS. I told the man I had intended to purchase a NEW scooter if my suspicions were confirmed but since he was more interested in confirming I purchased from THEM than HELPING ME, I would be buying my NEW SCOOTER from another dealer. NICE GOING, GREAT WAY TO LOOSE A PREVIOUS CUSTOMER.

This is despite the fact that the website said it was correct for this scooter. Customer service gave me a runaround and said I would be charged 20% to return this, rather than a full $50. 00 refund. I find this to be extremely poor customer relations! In response to Andrew: It appears there are two views of this fiasco. My experience is exactly as I stated. The box and product were damaged. Even if it had not been damaged the item would not have worked, despite the website leading me to believe it was okay for the Go-Go. This escalated because of your customer service making things complicated. Interestingly, of course I have a computer. What I said was that I use a landline and do not the technical ability to photograph and send images. You have distorted this fact. I can take a regular camera and mail through the Post Office pictures to people, have never been able to send photos through a computer. Wish I'd read the other negative reviews before engaging with this firm.

Well we have finally found Ocean Conversions. Richard Ruggeri came over to her house quite a number of times to show her different wheelchair styles and was so kind, caring and patient always. Once she decided on the model that fit her body best, Richard was able to explain how we could have a lockdown installed in the front seat. She is now able to sit in the front seat where the airbags are. Ocean Conversions put in an extension to the seatbelt so she is double locked down and she and her driver are safe when they and her caregiver are on the road! Disneyland here they come! No one bothered to call and let me know That would have been OK if they offered to work with me and contact my doctor for the correct RX. When I asked for a copy of my paperwork on the phone I was told I would have to fax a request. I don't have a fax and I said I would come in and sign something. When I came in for my appointment and found out they don't carry the equipment I wanted I asked for my paperwork. I was handed everything but the original RX and didn't have to sign anything. I really hate being lied to.

I looked for the closest place and this was it. They were very nice on the phone, and even nicer in person. They listened well, evaluated my needs, and helped me find the wheelchair that best met my needs. They were happily willing to do what was necessary, and beyond, even to the point of having me talk to their PT about what would be best when I got home. I highly recommend them.
