Ive been going here for over 2 years. I have referred at least 6 people that I know of at the top of my head maybe more. Never again. I am so mad right now. Went in tonight to get a spray tan. The girl behind the counter tries to up sell me. I only have 2 left which I know. Some sort of bogo deal.I said no thank you. I was then told the booth was being used. No big deal I'll wait. Then the girl behind the counter tells me. The 2 sessions left are not mine they are my daughters. I know for fact that's incorrect. Since my daughter now goes to South Beach Tanning and would never leave unused session's.I say ok let me use hers .She say no I can't do that. Then proceeds to upsell me more packages. I ask how much for 1 session I'll just pay since I am here.she tells me $45.00!!! Or $200 something for some other package. I don't remember the exact figure because I am in sticker shock!!!!! I used to go to Boca Tanning in Weston over 10 years ago, and it was great! I stopped going because both of my parents have had their issues with skin cancer, and it's just not worth it for me health-wise to make it a weekly/monthly routine. I had a friends wedding to attend recently and I wanted color quick. Being that I now live in Pompano, I went to this location. The tanning bed was fine, it did what I came there for, but my only complaint would be the girl who was working up front. She mentioned one of the tanning packages, and I said "No thank you, I probably shouldn't even be here because both of my parents had skin cancer.".. instead of her saying "I completely understand." She continued to try and sell me a tanning package. UPDATE: The owner reached out and rectified the situation.
