    Vada pav

We tried Monica's Mithai for brunch on the weekend and had a nice time. Tried a bunch of different dishes: Gujarati puri Vada pav Butter chicken paratha Egg bhurji Saffron chai Irani chai Mango mimosa The Gujarati puri and egg bhurji were the biggest hits followed by both versions of the chai and the vada pav too. Wish they had a more authentic version of the bread for the pav but can't fault that, it's not easy to make ladi pav. We had high hopes for the butter chicken paratha but it felt like the flavor was lacking, it could've easily used more stuffing. The mango syrup in the mimosa didn't mix very well and felt a little artificial so they may want to refine that recipe. But overall, a great visit and what a treat to have Indian brunch. Service was great, friendly and attentive. Ambiance is very bright and inviting. There are a few parking spots right outside the cafe or you can also park on the side streets.

Really enjoyed my recent visit. Monica (the owner) was very friendly and welcoming. She took our orders and answered all of our questions about the menu thoughtfully. She made all of our drinks herself. Most of my group does not drink but she was able to make several cocktails into mocktails upon request. The space is cozy and beautifully decorated. The food was delicious, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I will absolutely be back.

I went to Monica's Mithai Cafe and Bar with a friend who is vegetarian, they were very accommodating with plenty of delicious options. It was only my second time trying Indian cuisine, and I was nervous about the spice, but everything was delicious and flavorful without being overwhelming. The place is super cute, bright, and colorful, and the staff was friendly. Definitely worth a repeat visit!

An exceptional meal, a warm and welcoming ambience, and attentive generous service by the chef and her family. Will be returning for the absolutely scrumptious food. What a delight to find home-cooked authentic Indian food here on the North Shore.

The ambiance was good. The place is very well decorated with comfortable chairs. Service was prompt and friendly. And the food, every item was so delicious. We had Pani Puri, samosa chat, carrot Hawa, Kati role and of course masala tea.

This was honestly by far, one of the most delicious and amazing places I've been. I found myself driving for an hour, comparing places in person and found this place.A gem!!! I was on a business zoom call lunch! I always mix business with pleasure. That's why I'm happy. I never didn't mix business pleasure in my life!! not once! because life is business. Deserts were out of this world and the cocktails were certainly extravagant!! I suggest to everyone!!

This place has a great combo of interesting foods and special deserts. They offer some of the best of both French and Indian style pastries which is what we went in for, but next time we'll be doing lunch. Staff was helpful explaining the deserts and the place was small but super cute.

I cannot believe there's Indian fusion food this innovative & delicious in Andover MA?! Incredibly tasty food, charming ambiance, AND a cute bartender?! Amazing. New fav place

Absolutely fabulous service and food! It's a very small restaurant, cute decor, perfect for lunch. There's a lot of care clearly put into these dishes. Presentation is far superior than most restaurants. The staff was just astounding. We loved it and will definitely go back.

Absolutely stellar. Food is home style recipes; a kind of Indian fusion. Everything tastes fresh, quality is superb. The waitstaff is friendly and I had a moment to chat with the owners, who were incredibly passionate. This is a great spot.

This is some incredible food for a reasonable price. The place is tucked away in a corner but the minute you walk in, you see a welcoming environment. The owner is very approachable and makes sure you get a personal experience whether it's your 17th time or 1st time there. I got the spiced lamb chops which were so good. Make room for dessert. You won't regret it.

French inspired drinks and food were fantastic and interesting. The French 75 menu was so interesting-- choose your flavor and your bubbles. I tried two, the classic with rosé was so pretty, and the honey lavender with base level champagne was delicious. The raw oysters were to die for! Perfect little pop of acidity with other flavors delicately added and perfectly balanced. The oysters Rockefeller were also perfectly delicious. The foie gras is not something I would normally eat, but my boyfriend loves that stuff so we went with it. I enjoyed it more than he did. It was not a classic foie gras, it was smoother with a creamier texture and more buttery flavor. Eating it with the fig jam and "light as clouds" toast made it absolutely delicious! I enjoyed every minute and mouthful--would definitely seek this place out again even though I live an hour away! We enjoyed ourselves too much to take pictures!

Somehow they manage to make it feel both healthy and a little decadent. We also love the flatbreads and deserts, and the chicken sandwich and burgers have been great as well - really can't miss. The only thing really missing is a few more solid vegetarian protein options - it would be wonderful to be able to get a grilled tofu steak on that Asian Quinoa Salad. Service is fantastic - you enter from the patio side (steps up front and ramp along back of the patio). These guys are well and professionally staffed and we've always been met and seated quickly. All of our servers have been knowledgeable and helpful in making selections. They have regular tables, high tops, bar seating and outdoor tables. There are dedicated water bowls for anyone who brings a pup (outdoors only) and the dogs I've seen have been well behaved and adorable. We've never brought our dog, but he's still greeted and admired by staff as we pass by on a walk. That really says all you need to know about the wonderful people. Parking is in the lot right out front surrounding the small High Street courtyard or on the street. The dining patio overlooks that same courtyard. All in all a great combination of good food and a nice but casual atmosphere.

We were greeted by Emily a pleasant Hostess/Waitress! Andiamo had a nice Pub atmosphere and we were seated in a corner booth! We started with 2 Martinis that were filled to the brim which Emily very carefully brought to the table so not to spill a drop! We had checked the menu online and were both interested in their Chicken Piccata which had gotten rave reviews from fellow Yelper's and that dish didn't disappoint, we both loved it, the chicken was tender and the pasta cooked perfectly El Dente, and it was a huge portion, enough to satisfy the healthiest appetite! For dessert we opted for the Tiramisu that we took to go! After we got home we were looking forward to our tasty treat later in the day! Since our Chicken Piccata entrees were so delicious we thought that the Tiramisu would be as well, it wasn't! We both agreed that it was the worst Tiramisu that we've ever had! Instead of it consisting of the traditional ingredients of coffee soaked ladyfingers, mascarpone cheese and whipped egg yolks, it was like eating a three by two inch high square of cool whip that was topped with a sliced Strawberry, which BTW, was the only plus of this dessert! Don't know if they have their own pastry chef or they get it from a local Italian bakery but whoever makes this needs to be spoken to and at $12 a slice it was, to put it mildly, a complete ripoff! Emily, The Martinis and the Chicken Piccata were all five Stars but please skip the Tiramisu!
