Really good experience at this salon. The place was clean, everyone was friendly, and the whole appointment felt comfortable and easy. Melissa did my lashes and she's seriously amazing at what she does. She's super precise, makes sure everything looks perfect, and my lashes always turn out so good and last a long time. The products that Bocci's use are outdated! Bocci's uses Wella for their lightener and carries no other options. Wella is the lightener Bocci's uses for ALL blonding services. Wella is in fact the only lightener they carry & have to offer, ask for yourself. Speaking from experience, I would do yourself a favor and book your blonding service at another salon in the area that is up to date with the latest products on the market because it is about the integrity of your hair. During my blonding service at Bocci's I was informed by the stylist that the lightener Wella is the ONLY one that I was able to have put on my hair at Bocci's because Wella is the only lightener that Bocci's carries and has to offer for their dedicated clients. In 2025 with all of the products on the market , it makes Bocci's equivalent to a low budget salon. Bocci is definitely cutting corners! read more

What an amaZing experience! Gianna was my massage therapist and was waiting right in front for me when I arrived. I got a 60 min full body stone massage. They do some paperwork before hand to ensure they know the basics like medications, allergies, sore spots etc. The rooms were clean and Gianna made sure she explained everything every step of the way to make sure the experience was comfortable and relaxing. She used the right amount of pressure per my request and ensured the stones were not too hot for my skin. I called and made my appointment but you can also schedule online! I had decided to try Bocci Salon because I live close by and it's always busy. So I booked with Kristy. I told her how I would like my hair cut and so I sat in the chair and she cut it just as I had asked. I am a new customer and I kinda of thought she would be a little friendly but she just cut my hair never talked except about my hair. Then when we got to the front desk she whispered something in the receptionist ear, in which the receptionist replied "ya, I thought so too." I felt totally as if she was talking about me. She didn't even say nice meeting you, enjoy your day, nothing. I thought that was so rude, and high schoolish. She is a grown woman. That's not how you treat a new client. I tried this salon for an acrylic fill since my normal nail tech was unavailable for awhile. I chose this salon because I came here 10 years ago for my wedding nails and they came out nice. However, my experience at Bocci was not great. The receptionist is not welcoming or friendly. Amber who did my nails wasn't the most welcoming either My nails looked nice. However a week or so later, they started lifting and cracking at the bottom. This has never happened before for me with acrylics, ever. I had to end up taking them off since they were all loose and my nice natural long nails are now short and weak and a mess. I will NOT be returning here. read more

I would never recommend anyone to get their eyebrows waxed from here. My eyebrows were shaped good already, all she had to do was clean up the bottom. The Aesthetician totally screwed up my eyebrows, now they are uneven. I don't know where she went to school but everyone knows you don't wax from the middle of your eyebrow. I am resending my precious endorsement of Bocci. After a very unplesent face to face discussion with management I was informed they will not share their level of compliance with CDC safety protocol. They have unvaccinated staff working in the salon, without a mask. NO ONE had a mask! They refuse to do anything to protect customers, unless it is mandated by law. The last hair cut had the person cut the back shorter than I wanted and parted my hair on the wrong side. She was so busy talking to "the girls" about how nice a product worked with their hair she didn't even listen to my concerns I put a review directly on their site and they removed it. Nancy the mother of this adult child called the store because because her daughter was afraid to do it. All I wanted was to know was what needs to be done next. For example, should she return in a month to have it repeated or try a product. That is all I wanted. Her hair has beef before by Emily without any problem. If someone would communicate with me I would still be a client and this review would have been different. I did give the person who I talked the option of a bad review vs advice. I drove over an hour to get my hair cut and colored by Mary and it was absolutely worth it. She was so kind, detail oriented, focused on getting to my goal cut and color, and overall amazing. Bocci is the best spa I have ever been to. It's definitely a lot pricier than any other salon I've been to, as well. The service is always amazing, from the massages to the pedicures. My favorite massage is the Swedish massage. They do a fabulous job and the rooms are always cozy and relaxing. The pedicures are the only pedicures that actually get my feet smooth again; most other places skimp on that. However, like I said, it is incredibly expensive. I would go way more often if the prices were more reasonable, but for now I just save it for a special occasion. read more

My daughter and granddaughter went to Bocci for 7:00 pm appointments on 6/09/21. Each with a separate stylist. They were not greeted at all by the receptionist. My daughter was treated rudely by her stylist and also the stylist who cut my granddaughter's hair was rude as well. Do you treat all your customers who have late appointments in this manner? We were referred to Bocci by my sister who goes there regularly and also my niece who has her hair styled there as well. Both will get my input on how you treated these two individuals. I am a very non-confrontational person but after the bullying and harassment my mother went through from the ladies at the front desk just by trying to resolve my hair problem, I have decided to voice my opinion. As you can see in the pictures my hair is INCREDIBLY uneven. The roots look like they've been growing for months and i just got my hair done a few days ago. I mentioned this to the stylist and she said just brushed it off. My hair looks terrible and the ladies who called my mother told her she was a liar and just making things up. hence why I am posting pictures for proof. At the end of the service emily(the hairdresser) decided to cash herself out for me and said to me "i'll just take the rest for myself as a tip" and then walked away with my money before i could even stop her. I definitely do not think I should have payed for this service and it was incredibly unprofessional to just walk away with my money and tip herself after my mother had already left her a very good tip. I would like my money back because my hair looks terrible and is incredibly uneven and patchy and they refuse to refund me and have told me I am never welcome back in the salon. Too bad I'm still waiting for a haircut....after an hour of waiting and them telling me there was a scheduling mistake and not offering anything to remedy my inconvenience! They even had the nerve to ask me to wait till the stylist i am scheduled with to finish with her next appt before they start me. ****UPDATE POST-SERVICES***** After my original post, I finally got in for a haircut with Kelly, (my original stylist was supposed to be Deana). I've heard great things about Deana but the salon staff told me Kelly was also very great, and I agree. The wait was not Kelly's fault and I said to myself I was not to take out my aggression on Kelly. I did however, still express to her that this was my first time to the salon and I was being started out on a very very sour note. Kelly made an effort to talk to me and to express how bad she felt for my situation and mix up and continued to do a nice job on my hair. When I was done, she told me to sit tight so she could go talk to the manager. The owner returned instead and sat me down to have me explain to him what had happened. After patiently hearing me out, he thanked me for at least staying for my services and made a genuine effort to remedy the situation. He very kindly took care of my services for me and apologized for the events that transpired. He is a smart business man and showed that he cared about his clients' experiences. I do think there was a mix up today and I will give them another shot. read more

After having 3 bad experiences at other salons in the Sterling Heights/Troy area I was VERY nervous to ever get my hair cut again. I have very thick, naturally curly hair, and knew exactly what I wanted, but no one seemed to be able to get it right. My mom gave me a gift certificate for a massage at Bocci and when paying I noticed that Taylor (at the front desk) had the exact hair cut I wanted. The girl who had cut her hair was not taking new clients, so she scheduled me with Karrie. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME! Karrie has been cutting and coloring my hair for over 4 years now. She is very easy going and energetic. I can't wait to see what she does to my hair for my upcoming wedding. ok, so I went to Bocci for my 40th birthday and had an amazing time!. I had the signature massage, deep cleansing facial, and pedicure. I scheduled another facial with Lana before I left because it was very relaxing and my skin looked great! I would recommend the deep cleansing facial with Lana. The only thing I didn't like was there was nowhere to put my clothes and shoes as I went from the facial room in my robe and slippers to the massage room. I had to carry them which was awkward and took away from the experience; however, the actual services that I received were great. read more

Way overpriced, employees at front desk have attitudes and need to try to be welcoming towards clients. My appt ran 30 min late. This was the priciest salon facial and nothing special plus did not even offer water. The normal pedi did not even clean up the heels, not even to get the dry skin off. She left red polish stains around toes, said I could get it off at home with hand cream?!?! I went home and took a q-tip with nail polish remover. She said that was in the next one that costs even more $$. Way over priced! I go to other salons that treat you special and do all to make you look like new and for a lot less $$. read more

I went for hair coloring and cutting my black hair. After 5 hours of only hair coloring I came out with tones of ash, blonde, orange and copper, and my natural black and grey hair. A complete disaster. After consulting with another salon they said that my hair would have taken at least 4 sessions to get the desired tone. But at this salon the lady, Julia, apparently didn't know this, and said I should have known about this. I spent 160$ and was not offered to redo my hair to fix the mess created. It was a complete rip-off as they should have advised me on how many sessions it would have taken to get the desired look. And then pretend like how could they know, and that I should have known. I've been going to bocci for several years off and on. I've always used the same stylist and always had great results, until this last visit. I went in for a cut and color and my stylist was very stand offish when usually she is super friendly and personable. And when I say stand offish she was blatantly cold, very little conversation, made several annoyed faces at me when I asked questions or her opinion about what I wanted done. Seemed to be forcing herself to just get through it. After everything was done I thanked her and paid my $200+ for services and left. Initially the color looked ok until a few days later when I was straightening my hair and noticed there were huge obvious patches that she completely missed dyeing. Even my friends pointed this out to me. After spending that much money I was pretty upset, I realize people have bad days so I'm not going to call my stylist out by name, because maybe she had something going on. But if I'm going to spend that much money somewhere I expect good results. I have not been back and mostly likely won't be, when people are walking billboards for your work I feel like you would want to do your best. I was so put off that I couldn't bring myself to even call to make an appointment with a different stylist to see if it would be any better. read more

I loved Carrie very friendly and honest on what routes to take! Thank you! Also I had called on short notice and got in same day. I do think the prices are a bit high but if you get the right stylist its a small price to pay to get thr loom you want and have to walk around with. I had recieved highlights and told her if she thought my hair needed a chop after to make it look healthy I was all for it. Unfortunately, the receptionists are a problem again. If I didn't see Lisa for my nails, I probably wouldn't be going to Bocci anymore. My stylist moved on and I see him in his new location, and I am not really seeing anyone else but Lisa. I am not sure why Tracey and Jay are not more concerned about the first impression of the salon, but they seem not to be. Over the holiday a family member of mine needed a manicure, and asked me where to go. I did not send her to Bocci, because I don't want my friends and family treated poorly by reception. There is a new person there, longer blond hair 40ish, who can hardly be bothered to take your money. The salon itself is lovely, and the stylists and aestheticians are good. I went for a full spa day on my birthday because it was a gift from a friend and it really wasn't anything special. I got a facial but didn't see a difference in my skin at all. I got a massage that was just ok. My pedi was good, but the mani didn't last a week. And I asked for my hair curled, but the stylest put so much product in my hair that the curls fell out by the time I got home. My biggest complaint is that the services are way over-priced! read more
