My stylist did a great job with my haircut, and I could tell she's efficient and experienced. That said, I did run into an issue with the color service. The dye left visible staining along my hairline, temples/sideburn area, and behind my ears, which I wasn't informed about until after everything was done and I saw it in the mirror. The stylist did try to remove it, but it didn't come off easily, so I left with noticeable staining on my skin. I understand that things can happen, especially with different products, but I do wish there had been more communication in the moment and a more thorough final check/cleanup before I left the salon, especially since the staining was visible in multiple areas. Unfortunately, I'm not very comfortable waiting for it to fade on its own, and I'm also not inclined to return for a future service. Overall, I think this place has a lot going for it, but I hope they can improve the finishing process and post-service support so clients don't leave with unexpected issues. UPDATE: (response to Business Owner response) Thank you for the response, Emily. I appreciate you taking the feedback into consideration. I understand that staining can sometimes happen, but my concern was more around the visibility in multiple areas and that it wasn't fully addressed before I left. I've had my hair colored many times in the past and haven't experienced this level of staining, which is why it stood out to me. I'm glad to hear you'll be focusing on improving the final check and communication moving forward.

My "senior stylist," Evelyn, wasn't available until 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. During that wait, I was offered water once, but I repeatedly had to ask how much longer it would be because the staff kept saying "soon" without giving me any actual estimate. When the appointment finally started, I showed Evelyn a reference photo and clearly explained my daily hair routine. I told her I don't use styling products, don't heat style my hair, and simply wash it and let it air dry. Instead of cutting my hair to suit that lifestyle, she used texturizing products and spent a significant amount of time styling it. I even mentioned that I would never recreate that styling at home because it isn't part of my routine. The finished haircut looked nothing like the reference photo. At the time, the heavy styling disguised just how bad the cut actually was. The salon gave me a $20 new-client discount, and I specifically told them to apply that amount toward the stylist's tip. Instead, they processed a separate $21.18 tip. While it's not the biggest issue in this experience, it was not what I authorized. The real disaster became apparent after I washed my hair at home. The styling products had been hiding an incredibly poor haircut. The layers are uneven and completely unblended. There are obvious chunks of hair missing, and the entire cut sits lopsided. It is nothing like what I requested or what I was shown in the mirror after it had been heavily styled. I'm now left with a haircut that is genuinely embarrassing to wear and will likely require another stylist to spend months correcting. Between the excessive wait, poor communication, unauthorized tip charge, and one of the worst haircuts I've ever received, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. I absolutely cannot recommend this salon.

We almost gave up to back to ski lodge but decided to not be quitters....so glad we stayed. Love the decor. It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.

The interior really is very cool, great to have a true barbershop feel to enjoy rather than the bland and clinical interiors of most modern chains or shops. It's fun looking at all the decor, including some of the more fun items on display, it all just adds to the overall experience. It's also reasonably priced, though be aware this is a cash only establishment, so no cards, but they do have an ATM. Overall, Good Times Barbershop lives up to its name. It is always a great experience coming here and I highly recommend this business.

This is by far my favorite salon to go to wether it be just a trim or a full extention service. Ashley Cook is my stylist and she does an extremely good job of listening to what kind of service you want done and how you want it to look. As most know Women with dark hair run into problem with wantimg lighter hair without causimg damage to it. Ashley always will tell you if she thinks something will be damaging to your hair, however she always find a way to keep you happy, keep your hair healthy and keep you wanting to come back to her for more. Ashley done my makeup before (Beautiful), beaded weft extensions (I have super short hair and she did an amazing job of blending it together), hair cuts (she takes off enough to keep your hair growing and healthy but not and excess amount to scare you), she's done beautiful brades and updos in my hair. Her work ethic is amazing and she has complete knowledge of all products as well as the do's and don'ts . Her salon is located in a great location as well, I could be shopping at Kohl's before a night out and if I need her to do a quick blowout and retouch my makeup for the night she can which is absolutely convenient (especially when you're running late on time). the salon is cozy and she always offers me something to drink or a magazine before she starts her services on me. I will have to say that this salon is reaply cute with a chandeliers and rustic look. It's also kept clean. Another benefit of having her as my stylist is that I can buy Enjoy products from her salon and I find it hard it hard to buy at other locations, and if i do it tends to me more expensive. Well I think I've gone on enough here but Im just always so impressed with her work! I battled my grey for years, going every 4 weeks for touch ups, and was paranoid in between appointments, bringing touch up markers and brush on powders every where I went. Finally I surrendered and told Ashley I was ready to go grey. She talked me out of it the first time, sending me photos and information on what the transition would look like, and she succeeded in scaring me off. But then it was time to come in for a root touch up and I just did not want to do it, so I convinced her to turn me grey. And when she was done with her masterpiece, I wish I had done this years ago. Ashley is truly an artist. My hair looks more natural after she turned me grey then it ever has. I love it so much I can't believe it is my hair. I can't stop looking in the mirror. I have had some many stylists that I have tried that dont want to work with the colors I like to achieve but Ashley actually listens and works with what you are looking for. She is an awesome stylist that has tons of knowledge on color, extensions, and keeping up with trends. The one thing that stands her out from the rest is how she actually walks you through everything that she is going to do, makes sure to ask you questions, and give you reasonable expectations if you have a color correction! It was a Sunday morning. We called a different salon, and they were either closed or unable to accommodate us. We saw the True Aveda Salon and hoped we could get a haircut. I was amazed by the person I spoke to. I completely forgot her name, but she had a positive attitude and ensured they could accommodate 3 people for a haircut. I found out that they are open 7 days a week, and on Sunday they close at 7:00pm.
