Coming to this establishment was truly amazing! This was really my first time having experienced in a salon. I was in town for a gig with my band, I was looking to have my hair cut and "Bodacious Style Salon" was the closest near me. Having spoken with Ashley on the phone, She couldn't sound more welcoming. Ashleys customer service was above and beyond!! honestly better then a barber shops. I was grateful to have my haircut by Ashley's employer Frankie. Frankie was not only skillful at her craft but was engaged to have a conversation. Both Ashley and Frankie convinced me not cut my entire hair but to give my hair a touch up. And so I proceeded and Frankie executed the goal. When I come back to Vegas and if I need another touch up "Bodacious Style Salon" will be my only choice. Thank you ladies !!

I found Ashley online searching for a salon near me. I am 4 months postpartum and going through significant hair shedding on top of that my hair was already damaged (from years of my own bleach jobs- which is a no no. I know don't come for me lol). So I desperately needed a haircut. Ashley is super personable and knows what she is doing. I showed her a photo of how I wanted my haircut and she delivered. I've been salon bouncing for 5 years here in Vegas. I've found people that can do the job but not always well, not reliable, not personable, bad set up-just never found my "home" here. I needed colour really bad and I was done doing horrible keratin alternative treatments that just washed out. I read the reviews and called Ashley and had no clue how great my experience would be. Ashley is very honest, she is extremely personable and fun, she's very professional and knows almost instinctively what you need. She did my colour with meticulous attention to detail, then did the GK taming treatment (it was GK i think taming), and it was seriously 4 hours that went by really fast as Ashley is so fun to talk to. Definitely found my "home" salon and stylist now. Highly recommend Bodacious. read more

I am so overwhelmed with happiness after my visit with Ashley. She is such a kind soul that you never want to leave her salon. I came in with so much reserve based off my past experiences with other stylist. I was wanting my blonde hair blonder and a root smudge to cover up past mistakes. I love this salon.! Ashley and her team have done an amazing job and making this salon inviting and cozy for everyone. Ashley has been my hair stylist off and on when I visit Vegas and she is truly one of a kind. She turned me into a gorgeous redhead last April. And then I had all my hair chopped off at a hair show last November leaving me feeling like a boy and Ashley added some extensions and helped me feel pretty again. She got me on the books in short notice because she cared that I had a hair emergency and that is very appreciated. Ashley just added some tape in extensions for my wedding because my hair isn't grown back enough yet and they look seamless. No one would even know it wasn't all my hair! I trust her with my hair; and after what I have been through with hair stylists; that is saying a lot. My hair lady didn't wanna answer the phone or get back to me after leaving a message so I decided to get on yelp and look for another place. Didn't wanna give my money to someone with bad customer service, and I found this gem. I called in to book an appointment and Ashely was so sweet and friendly and told me she was available the next day. It was worth the wait because I felt welcomed and wanted! The salon is beautiful and cozy and there's complimentary tea, coffee and water! Felt really comfortable there. Ashely gave me highlights and fixed the ones my hair lady did a poor job on! I wanted to match my extensions and so many places told me that we'd need to do sessions and when I went to Ashely she did it in one sitting! My hair looks great and it matches my clip ins and looks more natural. I'm so happy with my results, I love how she can work with ethnic hair, and I will definitely be coming back forever! This was easily one of the best experiences I've ever had doing my hair. The salon is very cute and extremely quaint. Ashley is super nice and knowledgeable with hair colors. I didn't need to tell her much for her to turn my deep roots of orange mess to the lovely long shiny layered curls. It was beyond amazing!! The highlights were right on the spot! Meet the Business Owner: Ashley C.

My name is Ashley and I was born in a small town in Washington state. I've always dreamed of owning a salon and being able to make people feel confident and love their selves inside and out! I first went to school in Seattle 20 years ago at Gene Juarez where i specialized in color, extensions and makeup. After specializing I took an opportunity to move to Scottsdale Arizona; in which, I went back to school at Vidal Sassoon to become more knowledgable in cutting. Precision, fine lines, beautiful, flippy-flirty amazing hair. Now I've lived in Las Vegas for the past ten years and after working at an extension company here, I opened my own salon! Nine years as a salon owner and I'm still fulfilling my dream, and being able to give each client the attention to detail they deserve! I keep myself and our staff consistently going to educational classes to keep up with all the new trends and looks! Leaving you with what's best for you, your daily routines and lifestyle!

I had a mixed experience here. Booking was super easy and I appreciated all the reminders--it made…read morethe process really smooth. The salon itself is beautiful and welcoming. My stylist did a great job with my haircut, and I could tell she's efficient and experienced. That said, I did run into an issue with the color service. The dye left visible staining along my hairline, temples/sideburn area, and behind my ears, which I wasn't informed about until after everything was done and I saw it in the mirror. The stylist did try to remove it, but it didn't come off easily, so I left with noticeable staining on my skin. I understand that things can happen, especially with different products, but I do wish there had been more communication in the moment and a more thorough final check/cleanup before I left the salon, especially since the staining was visible in multiple areas. Unfortunately, I'm not very comfortable waiting for it to fade on its own, and I'm also not inclined to return for a future service. Overall, I think this place has a lot going for it, but I hope they can improve the finishing process and post-service support so clients don't leave with unexpected issues. UPDATE: (response to Business Owner response) Thank you for the response, Emily. I appreciate you taking the feedback into consideration. I understand that staining can sometimes happen, but my concern was more around the visibility in multiple areas and that it wasn't fully addressed before I left. I ended up scheduling with Risa for a wolf cut, and wow... she is AMAZING. She's from LA and totally gets that soft, layered wolf cut style. Honestly, she's like a hair wizard--she gave me exactly what I wanted (which never happens!), and I left feeling so confident. This is hands down my favorite hairstyle I've ever had. The whole experience was just really nice from start to finish. The salon is clean, welcoming, and has such a good vibe. I loved that they have a private area to change into a smock--it's those little touches that make a difference. Daniella greeted me right away and gave me such a relaxing hair wash too. And I have to say... if you're looking for an Asian hairstylist or that Korean/Japanese-inspired look, this is the place. They even had K-pop music playing, which made the whole experience feel fun and added to the vibe. I walked out feeling like a new person. Definitely found my new go-to spot. Highly recommend!

This review is strictly on Jade, avoid her at ALL costs! She is impersonal, rushed and WAY to big for her britches. First off I saw her IG and was impressed, now I'm convinced her photos are filtered. I met with her 2 weeks prior to the service so she could look at my hair which by the way had not been touched in a year so it was all virgin hair and I explained to her my last stylist moved abd I asked for an ash blonde balayage, haircut with choppy ends, a money piece and dimensional color. She said no problem and quoted me $385 for everything including toner. I left a $150 deposit and scheduled for 2 weeks later. Day of service, Jade didnt seem to remember me or a damn thing I asked for which is where I should have left. I had to repeat myself , show her the inspiration photo again and she again claimed she could do what I asked. I KNEW I was in trouble when not only did she have 2 other people she was doing the same time as me, but when she started doing nothing but just slapping bleach on me with no care to where she was placing the foils, no teasing, no care to placement. She literally was just slapping foils on my head. Then when she went to wash it she says " you are going to be more neutral". Right there is knew she was sugarcoating the fact she messed up! NEVER in the 20 years I have had my hair highlighted has a stylist said this and NEVEsr has my hair come out SO awful!!! Then she doesnt even blow dry me, her assistant does, THEN my so called " haircut" I swear to god she literally combed my hair forward on both sides and just cut straight across!!!!! Are you f$&kin kidding me!!!!! Holding back tears, and so so upset, she then tries to say to me " oh well yeah the brassiness you see is normal but people get really mad about it". Noooo really? Which tells me I am not her first victim. She did nothing but rushed the service, took ZERO time and effort at what she was doing, tried to sugarcoat her mistake and carelessness, and THEN the icing on the cake. When I went to pay the $385 mess she made which was the price she quoted at the consultation she then tried to charge me an additional $90 saying she never discussed the haircut ( again the straight across 3 minute chop) at the consult. BS!!!!!!! And even if she hadnt how in the WORLD could she justify a 3 minute chop a $75 haircut!!! Get real Jade! This woman is living WAY to much on her high horse and doesnt seem to care at ALL about her work, just money. I left there so mad and upset I immediately addressed the owner and manager and the ONLY saving grace to this was they did actually refund me and agreed Jade would be addressed for her horrible service and what she did, that is the only good thing I will say about this salon is the owner took responsibility for his stylist ( and i use the term stylist very loosely Jade's horrible work) . So if youbare going to come here stay FAR away from Jade, she is very unprofessional in more ways than one.

This is by far my favorite salon to go to wether it be just a trim or a full extention service. Ashley Cook is my stylist and she does an extremely good job of listening to what kind of service you want done and how you want it to look. As most know Women with dark hair run into problem with wantimg lighter hair without causimg damage to it. Ashley always will tell you if she thinks something will be damaging to your hair, however she always find a way to keep you happy, keep your hair healthy and keep you wanting to come back to her for more. Ashley done my makeup before (Beautiful), beaded weft extensions (I have super short hair and she did an amazing job of blending it together), hair cuts (she takes off enough to keep your hair growing and healthy but not and excess amount to scare you), she's done beautiful brades and updos in my hair. Her work ethic is amazing and she has complete knowledge of all products as well as the do's and don'ts . Her salon is located in a great location as well, I could be shopping at Kohl's before a night out and if I need her to do a quick blowout and retouch my makeup for the night she can which is absolutely convenient (especially when you're running late on time). the salon is cozy and she always offers me something to drink or a magazine before she starts her services on me. I will have to say that this salon is reaply cute with a chandeliers and rustic look. It's also kept clean. Another benefit of having her as my stylist is that I can buy Enjoy products from her salon and I find it hard it hard to buy at other locations, and if i do it tends to me more expensive. Well I think I've gone on enough here but Im just always so impressed with her work! I battled my grey for years, going every 4 weeks for touch ups, and was paranoid in between appointments, bringing touch up markers and brush on powders every where I went. Finally I surrendered and told Ashley I was ready to go grey. She talked me out of it the first time, sending me photos and information on what the transition would look like, and she succeeded in scaring me off. But then it was time to come in for a root touch up and I just did not want to do it, so I convinced her to turn me grey. And when she was done with her masterpiece, I wish I had done this years ago. Ashley is truly an artist. My hair looks more natural after she turned me grey then it ever has. I love it so much I can't believe it is my hair. I can't stop looking in the mirror. I am so glad that I found Ashley! I have had some many stylists that I have tried that dont want to work with the colors I like to achieve but Ashley actually listens and works with what you are looking for. She is an awesome stylist that has tons of knowledge on color, extensions, and keeping up with trends. The one thing that stands her out from the rest is how she actually walks you through everything that she is going to do, makes sure to ask you questions, and give you reasonable expectations if you have a color correction! Also I love the salon itself and experience, its very intimate and relaxing and the other stylists are friendly and funny as well! Overall this salon could not get much better.
