Extremely happy with my hair. Ashley is amazing!!! She went above and beyond what I wanted. She looked at the little details and wants to make them perfect. Coming to this establishment was truly amazing! This was really my first time having experienced in a salon. I was in town for a gig with my band, I was looking to have my hair cut and "Bodacious Style Salon" was the closest near me. Having spoken with Ashley on the phone, She couldn't sound more welcoming. Ashleys customer service was above and beyond!! honestly better then a barber shops. I was grateful to have my haircut by Ashley's employer Frankie. Frankie was not only skillful at her craft but was engaged to have a conversation. Both Ashley and Frankie convinced me not cut my entire hair but to give my hair a touch up. And so I proceeded and Frankie executed the goal. When I come back to Vegas and if I need another touch up "Bodacious Style Salon" will be my only choice. Thank you ladies !! read more

I found Ashley online searching for a salon near me. I am 4 months postpartum and going through significant hair shedding on top of that my hair was already damaged (from years of my own bleach jobs- which is a no no. I know don't come for me lol). So I desperately needed a haircut. Ashley is super personable and knows what she is doing. I showed her a photo of how I wanted my haircut and she delivered. I've been salon bouncing for 5 years here in Vegas. I've found people that can do the job but not always well, not reliable, not personable, bad set up-just never found my "home" here. I needed colour really bad and I was done doing horrible keratin alternative treatments that just washed out. I read the reviews and called Ashley and had no clue how great my experience would be. Ashley is very honest, she is extremely personable and fun, she's very professional and knows almost instinctively what you need. She did my colour with meticulous attention to detail, then did the GK taming treatment (it was GK i think taming), and it was seriously 4 hours that went by really fast as Ashley is so fun to talk to. Definitely found my "home" salon and stylist now. Highly recommend Bodacious. read more

My hair lady didn't wanna answer the phone or get back to me after leaving a message so I decided to get on yelp and look for another place. Didn't wanna give my money to someone with bad customer service, and I found this gem. I called in to book an appointment and Ashely was so sweet and friendly and told me she was available the next day. It was worth the wait because I felt welcomed and wanted! The salon is beautiful and cozy and there's complimentary tea, coffee and water! Felt really comfortable there. Ashely gave me highlights and fixed the ones my hair lady did a poor job on! I wanted to match my extensions and so many places told me that we'd need to do sessions and when I went to Ashely she did it in one sitting! My hair looks great and it matches my clip ins and looks more natural. I'm so happy with my results, I love how she can work with ethnic hair, and I will definitely be coming back forever! This was easily one of the best experiences I've ever had doing my hair. The salon is very cute and extremely quaint. Ashley is super nice and knowledgeable with hair colors. I didn't need to tell her much for her to turn my deep roots of orange mess to the lovely long shiny layered curls. It was beyond amazing!! The highlights were right on the spot! Meet the Business Owner: Ashley C.

My name is Ashley and I was born in a small town in Washington state. I've always dreamed of owning a salon and being able to make people feel confident and love their selves inside and out! I first went to school in Seattle 20 years ago at Gene Juarez where i specialized in color, extensions and makeup. After specializing I took an opportunity to move to Scottsdale Arizona; in which, I went back to school at Vidal Sassoon to become more knowledgable in cutting. Precision, fine lines, beautiful, flippy-flirty amazing hair. Now I've lived in Las Vegas for the past ten years and after working at an extension company here, I opened my own salon! Nine years as a salon owner and I'm still fulfilling my dream, and being able to give each client the attention to detail they deserve! I keep myself and our staff consistently going to educational classes to keep up with all the new trends and looks! Leaving you with what's best for you, your daily routines and lifestyle!

And points me in right directions while still giving me similar to what I had in mind but in a way that suits me best. Jessica is also just the best vibe reader. If you want to gossip and talk? She will gossip and talk. If you want it to be quiet and just read or scroll, she will be mindful to only speak when it's important information and walking through steps of what she is doing for you to be informed. She fluctuates so well and is just a super kind and gentle person. In addition the head massages she gives are amazing. I am autistic and I have sensory issues up the wazoo that I can't have people touch me for long periods of time or even (3 seconds sometimes) like a massage, especially my scalp and you can imagine how tense I am if I never get the kinks and tension massaged out. For some reason, Jessica just does it right. I melt into her hands and she gives perfect pressure, she gets all the good spots, and keeps the water warm (if you like it warm). I also love the eucalyptus or water hot towel that's done at the end, so refreshing. I literally walk out the salon confident, sexy, and in a haze because I'm massage drunk and relaxed. I tend to write more detailed reviews about hair salons because my hair has always been a big deal for me. I have very curly, frizzy, coarse hair that tends to puff up and look much fuller than it actually is. It is definitely not the kind of curly hair that naturally falls into pretty, defined curls. Without blow-drying or straightening, it can get very unruly and hard to manage. I have been dealing with this hair for decades, so I have had more haircuts, blowouts, straightening treatments, and salon visits than I can count. Because of that, I can usually tell when someone really understands how to work with difficult curly hair. I wore short hair when I was younger, but after a bad experience, I avoided it for decades. About six months to a year ago, I decided to try a bob again. At first, I felt like the only way I could really manage it was by getting a straightening treatment about every six months. Since I also color my hair, I did not want to keep combining coloring and chemical straightening because of the damage it can cause over time. I decided to keep coloring my hair and stop the straightening treatments. Once more of my natural curl started growing back, though, the bob became harder and harder for me to manage. I was honestly starting to think I might have to give up on short hair and grow it out again. That was around the time I found this salon. What has impressed me most is how much easier my bob has been to manage since coming here, even without going back to regular straightening treatments. I am not especially skilled at styling my own hair, but after shampooing, I can now blow-dry and straighten it at home much more easily. The cut itself makes a huge difference. It also grows out really well, which is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. -- What really stands out to me is how well Risa listens. -- At every visit, she takes the time to ask how my previous haircut worked for me, what I liked, and whether there is anything I would like to change. I really appreciate that she listens to my feedback instead of simply repeating the same cut. I loved the shape of my last bob, but the back had been cut very short with clippers. Because my hair is coarse and pretty stiff, those very short hairs felt uncomfortable against the back of my neck as they grew out. Since I had not worn my hair this short in decades, I simply did not know my hair would react that way. I mentioned it to Risa, and this time she adjusted the cut and used mainly scissors and thinning shears instead of cutting the back so closely with clippers. I really appreciated that she listened to both what I liked about the previous cut and what I wanted changed. Most importantly, I love my bob again. The shape is clean, balanced, flattering, and very easy for me to manage. I also enjoyed the shampoo service. The brief scalp massage felt really relaxing and refreshing, and the salon itself always has a calm, comfortable atmosphere. My husband had his haircut again too, and his cut came out clean and polished, just like the previous visits. After three visits, it definitely does not feel like we simply got lucky once. The results have been consistently good for both of us. For me, a haircut that grows out well and stays manageable for two or three months, sometimes close to four, is absolutely worth the investment. Being able to maintain my bob this easily without relying on regular straightening treatments makes it even more valuable. That is why I keep coming back, and why I take the time to leave reviews. My "senior stylist," Evelyn, wasn't available until 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. During that wait, I was offered water once, but I repeatedly had to ask how much longer it would be because the staff kept saying "soon" without giving me any actual estimate. When the appointment finally started, I showed Evelyn a reference photo and clearly explained my daily hair routine. I told her I don't use styling products, don't heat style my hair, and simply wash it and let it air dry. Instead of cutting my hair to suit that lifestyle, she used texturizing products and spent a significant amount of time styling it. I even mentioned that I would never recreate that styling at home because it isn't part of my routine. The finished haircut looked nothing like the reference photo. At the time, the heavy styling disguised just how bad the cut actually was. The salon gave me a $20 new-client discount, and I specifically told them to apply that amount toward the stylist's tip. Instead, they processed a separate $21.18 tip. While it's not the biggest issue in this experience, it was not what I authorized. The real disaster became apparent after I washed my hair at home. The styling products had been hiding an incredibly poor haircut. The layers are uneven and completely unblended. There are obvious chunks of hair missing, and the entire cut sits lopsided. It is nothing like what I requested or what I was shown in the mirror after it had been heavily styled. I'm now left with a haircut that is genuinely embarrassing to wear and will likely require another stylist to spend months correcting. Between the excessive wait, poor communication, unauthorized tip charge, and one of the worst haircuts I've ever received, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. I absolutely cannot recommend this salon.

This is by far my favorite salon to go to wether it be just a trim or a full extention service. Ashley Cook is my stylist and she does an extremely good job of listening to what kind of service you want done and how you want it to look. As most know Women with dark hair run into problem with wantimg lighter hair without causimg damage to it. Ashley always will tell you if she thinks something will be damaging to your hair, however she always find a way to keep you happy, keep your hair healthy and keep you wanting to come back to her for more. Ashley done my makeup before (Beautiful), beaded weft extensions (I have super short hair and she did an amazing job of blending it together), hair cuts (she takes off enough to keep your hair growing and healthy but not and excess amount to scare you), she's done beautiful brades and updos in my hair. Her work ethic is amazing and she has complete knowledge of all products as well as the do's and don'ts . Her salon is located in a great location as well, I could be shopping at Kohl's before a night out and if I need her to do a quick blowout and retouch my makeup for the night she can which is absolutely convenient (especially when you're running late on time). the salon is cozy and she always offers me something to drink or a magazine before she starts her services on me. I will have to say that this salon is reaply cute with a chandeliers and rustic look. It's also kept clean. Another benefit of having her as my stylist is that I can buy Enjoy products from her salon and I find it hard it hard to buy at other locations, and if i do it tends to me more expensive. Ashley has been my hair stylist off and on when I visit Vegas and she is truly one of a kind. She turned me into a gorgeous redhead last April. And then I had all my hair chopped off at a hair show last November leaving me feeling like a boy and Ashley added some extensions and helped me feel pretty again. She got me on the books in short notice because she cared that I had a hair emergency and that is very appreciated. Ashley just added some tape in extensions for my wedding because my hair isn't grown back enough yet and they look seamless. No one would even know it wasn't all my hair! I battled my grey for years, going every 4 weeks for touch ups, and was paranoid in between appointments, bringing touch up markers and brush on powders every where I went. Finally I surrendered and told Ashley I was ready to go grey. She talked me out of it the first time, sending me photos and information on what the transition would look like, and she succeeded in scaring me off. But then it was time to come in for a root touch up and I just did not want to do it, so I convinced her to turn me grey. And when she was done with her masterpiece, I wish I had done this years ago. I am so glad that I found Ashley! I have had some many stylists that I have tried that dont want to work with the colors I like to achieve but Ashley actually listens and works with what you are looking for. She is an awesome stylist that has tons of knowledge on color, extensions, and keeping up with trends. The one thing that stands her out from the rest is how she actually walks you through everything that she is going to do, makes sure to ask you questions, and give you reasonable expectations if you have a color correction! Unfortunately, I was extremely unhappy with the result from the first stylist (see picture 1&2) , so I contacted the salon and came back to have it corrected. The second time, the manager stepped in to fix my hair, which I appreciated at first. However, I was shocked that I was then charged another $210 to correct the problems from my original appointment. Before she started, I showed her a very clear reference photo of the blonde color I wanted. My goal was still to go blonder, not brunette. Instead, after the correction, my hair came out significantly darker and much more brown-toned than the reference photo. When I questioned why my hair was so brown when I had specifically asked for a blonding treatment, I felt my concerns were brushed off. I was told that going brown was better for my hair and that I needed the color correction. That may have been her professional opinion, but that was not the result I requested or expected when I agreed to the service. If achieving the blonde in my reference photo wasn't realistic or safe, I wish that had been clearly explained to me before changing my hair to a completely different color. Between both appointments, I spent $495 and more than 6 hours in the salon, only to leave without the blonde hair I originally came in for. The photos speak for themselves: the second photo is the reference I showed before the service, and the third photo is the result I received. They are clearly not the same tone or overall look. I gave the salon a second opportunity to make things right and ended up paying even more for a result that still wasn't what I requested. Salon is small (which I like vs the bigger salons which can feel intimidating) Day of appointment- Andenise was so kind and welcoming. Before she started, we briefly went over what I wanted to accomplish. I had a hard time explaining what I wanted but at the same time it felt like she knew what I wanted or more so needed lol (if that makes sense) My hair needed a lot of TLC My roots were over grown , my hair was dry and damaged from previous work done on it. She explained everything that she was going to do and went over the cost of services. She was very upfront and honest. I was nervous the whole time so I was a bit on the quiet side of conversation (hope she understood) but I never felt uncomfortable. After almost 4-5 hrs I must say the results were way better than I expected. I left the salon feeling new and my hair never felt this healthy in SOOO long! I'm 100 percent grey and have thick but difficult hair. I decided to try Claudia based on a referral. Not only did she really listed to what I wanted, she also consulted with me often to make sure we were headed in the right direction. She was able to get my roots the exact color I wanted and carefully applied the toner to give my hair dimension. The cut is also fabulous. I finally have bounce without frizz. Sometimes when I sit down on her chair, I wouldn't need to say anything because we already know what to do. Super flexible and accommodating. Under normal circumstances, beverages are offered and all salon services! She's super fun, outgoing, completely understand what you need, and of course, the perfect cut for you every single time, not to mention the membership options available for us, whatever the lifestyle is. I have very thick and coarse hair, and it's super difficult to manage and choose a stylist with everything in mind. Going forward, I've always been coming back every other week, if not every week, to do any touch ups. She's done things that I haven't even noticed or asked as well. For example, an eyebrow waxing, head and face massage, and taking the time to notice the smallest imperfections so you'd be ready for your next outing. Claudia continues to educate and expand on her skill set to be better and better. An expert stylist who actively listens and makes sure you're happy at the end of the day. As someone with dark, curly, thick, and coarse hair, going lighter is not easy. It is SO hard to find a stylist who truly understands this type of hair, and because of bad experiences in the past, I always get nervous trying someone new. I found Kalisha through a Facebook group recommendation while I was in Vegas for work. I live in St. George, UT, but after seeing her work, I immediately booked an appointment -- and I am beyond thankful that I did. From the moment I sat in her chair, I felt comfortable. She listened to exactly what I wanted, understood my concerns, and for the first time in my life, gave me the PERFECT hair. I did an all-over balayage and wanted soft 90s-inspired layers for more volume, and she absolutely nailed it. As a mom, I had fallen into that cycle of not doing much for myself and honestly starting to feel blah. Walking out of Kalisha's salon, I felt beautiful again -- and that alone was 120% worth the drive. I will continue making the trip to see Kalisha because she is the only stylist I fully trust with my hair.
