Seems like a nice mom and pop place with Argentinian food. I only went there because I heard that they have meat empanadas. They had 5-6 different empanadas on display along with quiches. Apparently all are hand-made creations. I bought 3 empanadas. I loved the ham and cheese. The chicken was decent but didn't really like the beef. It had green olive in it. Overall, they were a little smaller than I expected since they were all about the size of child's fist with the spinach being not much bigger than a baby's fist.

So I was in a mood to have a light lunch and found this place on Yelp!. One can easily miss this place (like I did driving by twice!) since it's almost blends in with the neighborhood homes!. I walked in and was greeted by all and got help from Pablo in what's good to order. The food is all fresh and home made. I ordered a dozen empanadas and the Pasta Frola de Membrillo to go. The empanadas are delicious especially the chicken and ground beef. You would need more than two to fill you up though. The jam based pasta frola de membrillo is just right with a cup of coffee. It's not too sweet unlike other pies. The food is all fresh and light!. Would definitely recommend!.

My other review disappeared. I hope I can relate the awesomeness of this little mom and pop restaurant hidden on the back street of Oakridge Drive on the side of The Woodlands. When I first walked in I smelled such warm savory smells of food cooking. They make their own Argentinian empanadas and variety of quiche. These foods have such incredible flavors and mellow spices. I could eat these on a weekly basis. Everything is made from scratch and done with quality ingredients. They also have Argentinian frozen pizzas which have the most incredible cheeses and quality meats. They don't last long and they don't taste like they were ever frozen when I baked mine. They have a grocery section of their countries foods. There is also a serene dining area to eat in. Definitely worth a visit. They close at 6pm on weekdays and 2pm Saturday. Yelp Review #283

The empanada sampler that I had was amazing I had Italian, mushroom, spinach and spicy chopped beef; they were each beautiful in their own right. The chimichurri is authentic perfection. We didn't get to try a lot of items on their menu so my impression is limited to what we ordered. For appetizers, we had a variety of empanadas (spicy ground beef, chicken chipotle, italian, fugazetta). All are very tasty and probably one of the best items they have. The chimichurri that comes with them is a stand-out. We had the platter of mixed meats (parrillada che gaucho) that included 3 kinds of sausages, chicken breast, sweetbread, short rib, flank and skirt steaks. The sausages were good, the chicken was standard grilled chicken breast and the beef cuts were pretty tough (our knives had a really hard time cutting through them). Again, the chimichurri is the star and makes the meats much better. It came with 2 sides so we chose asparagus and fries tossed in garlic+parsley. For dessert, we had an apple maple empanada and a banana dulce de leche empanada with ice cream. Both are delicious but that banana one is a must-try. Fabulous.

It was an incredible joy to taste the best fried plantain in all of Texas, and it came with some yummy spicy dip and green herbs dip with! So different so exotic! We ordered the corn smoked crab fingers as an appetiser, and the spinach and beef empanadas. We weren't too hungry and just wanted to try the appetisers before we ordered big meals. The atmosphere seems like it is supposed to be romantic, the reason for the red, although I'm not fond of the color AT ALL, the atmosphere was nice. Oh my goodness the smoked crab fingers were quite a surprise! I always knew crab could taste like this but could never find it. Yummy portions of deliciously flavoured crab. Oh my goodness I just had the most flavourful margarita I've ever had in my whole life, the Petia I think it is called! They put a salt around the rim that is not just regular salt, it is an explosion of spice in your mouth like fireworks. The spinach empanada was incredible. They had the best Yucca I've ever had in all of the US! Best meal ever in the United States. The service was incredible, everyone is so nice here, but genuine. This place is an EXPERIENCE and well worth the money. Shalom!

Our waitress, Alex, was great, and it was super peaceful to sit on the Waterway patio while enjoying a meal. The complimentary plantain chips with chimichurri were different and delicious. Guacamole, sangria, and crab cake were all decently priced for dinner. The New York strip could use some extra flavor, but the delicious mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts sides made up for it. And to die for was the sticky toffee pudding! All around an amazing happy hour and date night spot that I highly recommend.

We came for the specialty market to buy some items from Argentina. This place was packed with every table taken and several people waiting on a Sunday at 3pm so it must be really good. We saw homemade alfores which I absolutely love and they even had the crackers we love at their small market. With pictures of Argentina and Messi on their walls you tell the warm friendly atmosphere although busy. Will definitely return for lunch or dinner after reading the Yelp reviews. Oh.my.goodness. I LOVE THIS PLACE!…read more To be honest, we discovered it by accident since we were in an area about 30 minutes from our home. Needless to say, those 30 minutes are worth it and I've already been twice! There is free parking which is always a plus. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you are in Latin America. The decor is pretty neat and they sell traditional Argentinian candy, snacks and chocolates. We tried the Argentinian empanadas (because of course we had to) as well as the choripán and they were good but my favorite by far was the Chinchulines (small intestine a.k.a. chitterlings). Yum! Service has been great both times. If you are interested in having an alcoholic drink, call ahead of time to inquire as you are able to bring a bottle of wine but there is a corkage fee. I will DEFINITELY be back!
