The house salad and the French fries were good. The chicken empanada had a filling ratio of 98% potato and 2% shredded chicken, it was terrible. My husband didn't mind the beef empanada. I ordered the chicken Milanese, which was decent with sweet potato fries. husband had skirt steak, which was decent. Overall both meals were salty to taste. The biggest negative is that there is only one waiter and because the place was so crowded on a Saturday evening, the service was lacking. For example, we-were waiting to get a glass of water for quite some time. We even had the Tiramisu , which was more like cheesecake ( not bad tho) . Sangria was awful --Tasted more like fruit punch. The ambience was just like any family restaurant . Not a big fan of the food . We will not return.

Came here for a quick work lunch. Most of us had not been here before and were intrigued. I noticed the lunch menu had Argentinian Pizza, and I had never heard of that! I had to try it, so I ordered that with a size salad. The pizza was actually pretty large for an individual serving, and it could even be split. It was really different, and absolutely loved the banana peppers. We all want to come back and try other things as well as the menu is super interesting!

Che Gaucho is amazing! They have the best food. The best service and the best steak! Sometimes the steak temperature is inconsistent but not terribly. Love how they serve everything on a cutting board so cool! It's usually always quiet and peaceful inside. I will be back for more!

Absolutely 100% perfect! Every time we come here, they knock it out of the park. Empanadas are amazing, steak is amazing, Service is amazing. Very excited that they now sell wine. Been coming here for a few years and experience is very consistent. Definitely recommend.

Milanesa was so good! Not quite like my Argentinian grandma's but it was a nice nostalgic hit for me. The kids loved the empanadas and there were so many flavors to choose from. They loved the three cheese the most. Service was amazing. Our waiter was kind and patient. It's a little place but very comfortable and doesn't feel cramped.

Incredibly smooth Cabernet at a great price We anticipated taking some home but polished it off it paired so nicely

Absolutely fabulous. We really enjoyed everything. From the Argentine sausage provoleno empanadas desert and spectacular wine. I can't believe I have missed out on this place for the last 8 years. Will be back soon

Cheewawenos!! I know that's not a word, but it if it was, it would describe Che Gaucho. I was impressed with the food! I took my son - we ordered an empanada, a cheese pizza, and the beef milanesa with 5 cheeses. Everything was fresh and impressive. And the flavor? OMG. After we received our food I became momentarily stressed because the menu is quite extensive. I tried to do the math in my head to figure out how many visits it would take me to work my way through the menu - it made me realize that I'm impatient. So, I texted a few food pics to friends and volun-told to prepare to come eat here. I figure we can all order different stuff and sample everything on the table. Modern problems require modern solutions! As for the service - they aren't fast, but that's okay. This is one of this places where the wait is worth it. The place is quiet - so you can have conversations without screaming. My only gripe is the air conditioner doesn't blow very cold so it's a little warm - but I will overlook that as well in order to put that food in my tummy. Would I go back? Well, I kind of already did because I ordered a dozen empanadas to go.

Went to Che Gaucho and ordered empanadas for "takeout". They are overpriced for the size, fillings are not so great. What mostly bothered me about this place is that they just automatically add the "tips" in your bill. Been to several eateries in Tomball and never have been charged a tip. HEBs has several tasting empanadas cheaper and no tip required.

Why 5 stars? Because the empanadas changed me. --- --- --- I've never considered myself to be an empanada person, but after trying the empanadas at Che Gaucho, I think I have to amend that position. I am now a fan of empanadas when they are done by Che Gaucho. I started off with the italian empanada, which was like the highest-grade Hot Pocket that's ever been made. And I finished with the banana dulce de leche empanada, which was the perfect way to end this meal. In between the appetizer and dessert, I ordered a churrasco, which was solid, but I will admit I've had better. The salad that accompanied it was probably the biggest disappointment of the entire experience, but I suppose if one thing is going to be subpar, you'd pick that to be the side salad. So while this was probably somewhere between a 4 and 5 star experience, I'm rounding up because the empanadas were THAT good. Next time, my entire meal will be empanada-based.

We all shared freshly baked bread with chimichura sauce and marinated vegetables salsa criolla, delicious empanadas of all sorts, the Argentina Grill parrillada platter, and flan and Nutella crepes for dessert. This time I ordered it again and the Nutella empanada leaked all over the bag, both take out containers, and the other sweet empanada (pineapple and cream cheese(?)) had broken. The top of it had collapsed. So they may not know how to fry/bake the sweet empanadas with a tight seal on the dough. The flavors are still good as long as the chocolate and Nutella don't get burnt. Staff may want to consider wrapping each empanada for take-out orders in parchment or thin aluminum sheets. That way they'll travel better. Overall, they were all still tasty, but with take-out, significantly messier. Took my 4 star rating down to a 3 star rating.
