I feel bad for the owner of this business. She messaged me and told me that they emailed me back and they never did. She is also claiming that she offered to fix my hair, which they never did. Regardless, I don't want them to even try to fix my hair because I'm afraid I won't have any left when they are done. Don't go here! 3 times I've been back to Becca to fix what she did the first time to my hair. I have lines every time on the sides of my head. I'm so upset right now. Yesterday I went back for the 3rd time to have her fix, didn't notice but when I washed my hair this morning. It's worse now than before. I saw these zebra lines on the side of my head and want to cry. Hideous. A respectable hair salon would offer to do something. You can clearly see something is wrong in these pics. Krista! So I love this place it used to go by Onxy Salon the new name is Bodi Salon. I love my hair stylist "LARRY"he is the best! I followed him from another salon and u leave happy everytime. He has great customer service always calls me the day before my appointment to remind me, my appointment starts promptly. My hair is not always that manageable but he manages to cut it in a way that will be easy to maintain. I wouldn't trade him for anyone else. I have to re write my previous review . After about three weeks of getting my hair highlighted what was supposed to be a "red" color, it completely faded. Not only that but when I recently went to get my hair done correctly, I found out that my hair was so damaged from whatever the hair stylist put in my hair , that I had chucks of hair missing in the back, a bald spot, my hair broke so much it was maybe an inch long in some spots and it was pure blonde! On top of all that, my haircut was so choppy and terrible, I had to cut another two inches off my hair for it to look right. I recommend maybe the stylists at this salon further their education on hair coloring with different types of hair or maybe everything to do with hair in general. I will never go back and I don't recommend this place to anyone. Only if you want your hair ruined . I cried until my new hair stylist was able to fix it. Taking a chance with a new (to you) hair stylist I'd always hard and that's what I did today with April, a stylist at this salon. I went in for a trim, bang cut, and color and when I walked out, my hair looked better than it has in well over a year. The color is phenomenal! She talked me throhgh the process of all of my color options and helped me choose something that I am incredibly pleased with. The cut is great as well! I've been going to Christina for a couple of years now (even when it was Onyx Salon). She's the owner and takes pride in her store and takes care of her customers. I'm really impressed with the different services they offer now. But, going back to Christina- she's very professional, prompt, and a reasonable price for a fantastic haircut. I went to this place based on reviews on Yelp. I called and was given an appt the same day with Brittney. I showed Brittney a few pictures of the look I was going for which was keeping my long length hair but adding layers. I'm very picky about my hair and Brittney nailed it! My hair was very flat and plain before and I left with a little more volume and bounce to my hair. I also got an eye brow wax with Adrianna and loved it as well. OMG am I happy I found April. After moving to Round Rock about 5 years ago from So. Cal it has been a struggle finding someone to do my hair the way I like it. I was nervous as I had been down this path before. April was so friendly and very knowledgeable on color and how to process, for a second I thought "wow am I back in Cali". My last stylist never put a glaze or a toner after my highlights, she preferred that I walk around with brassy yellow hair. It was always so frustrating paying for something I never liked but I kept going to her. I didn't know how to end it. April did my color so great it looks amazing. Finding a new hairdresser is very challenging. I took a chance with Becka at Bodi Salon through Groupon and she did not disappoint. I went into the salon knowing exactly what I had in mind. After the wonderful advice of Becka, I ended up loving what she suggested. She's very personable, friendly and funny. She's very hospitable and made me feel comfortable and at home. Her patience and precision shows how passionate she is with each individual client. I came a little early and was able to see her in action with another client. She was able to carry on a conversation with her client and another hairdresser in the room. I have to say I was a little worried as she would turn away while cutting hair. However, after she dried and styled her clients hair, it looked amazing. I knew I would be in good hands and I feel Becka can do hair with her eyes closed. So I read the review from Soph dated yesterday, 08/01/2017, where Soph gave the Salon a bad review. I am a little confused as about Soph's claim that Becka was "angry" and "dismissed her" when she called back to complain about the job earlier in the day as I was in the salon having my hair cut by Krista when Soph called. Those claims are completely false As a third party, let me say I overheard Becka try to explain what she had done to Soph's hair and kept saying she needed to see what Soph was referring to as opposed to trying to discuss this over the phone. I found Krista four years ago by way of a Groupon and have been a loyal customer ever since. She cuts my child's hair as well. Krista has always been professional and goes above and beyond to help her clients. She is personable and always has others best interest at heart. It appears Soph's review is an isolated one time incident which only tells a part of the story. Maybe Soph should finish the story and tell others that she called Krista (owner of salon) "Blondie" and told her to quit eavesdropping. Now that is unprofessional! Sounds like Soph should find a different salon where she has free reign to belittle the employees. read more

DONT GO HERE! I went twice with the same lady for a color and cut. They always double book her so she rushes through the appointment. The cut both times was uneven and I had to point out issues to be fixed. The color was not what I asked for, far from. The first time they were out of a toner I needed so they used a SHAMPOO? instead. A week later my hair was brassy again. WHAT AM I PAYING FOR!!! I struggled with writing a bad review because I know it can hurt the stylist (see how I didn't mention a name). But I saw some good reviews here that are so far from the reality. I let the stylist know some of my complaints and I felt she was trying to make it seem like it was my fault. What the heck!!! read more

I went to April here for my first time. Full disclosure, I was going from dark to as light as she could get it with highlights so I understand it was not the easiest procedure. She was nice and knew what she was doing. I got home and realized that my hair appeared red in the lighting at home, not the effect I wanted at all. I called to see if anything could be done because I really disliked my hair. She said she could put a toner on it to go darker (which would totally defeat the purpose of the highlights) or she could give me a mini highlight in a couple days for $45. I thought they should have offered an acceptable solution at no cost, like putting a few highlights in the really red part or something, nothing major. So, I am giving this place 3 stars for their customer service. read more

Rant : Went for full highlights and haircut at Onyx Salon aka Bodi Salon , ( Suite 15 inside of The Salons @ University Oaks) in Round Rock . No foils were put in at all, but my hair "painted" and rubbed. Received the below -see pic. They wanted to charge me to "correct" the work. I called to let them know I was unhappy with the service paid for. They offered to change it adding color over it, with a $10 discount . Also, could not get me scheduled because they were double booked. I called around and sent photos of my hair to other stylist. I was told by them I needed a color correction and to get my money back from the people who did this to my hair. Every place I have called has told me I am looking to pay $100 an hr. For the color correction and it will take at least 4 hrs. I also stated i wanted to keep the length of my hair and she cut over 5 inches off. :/ My boyfriend and I have both attempted to give them the oppurtunity to correct my hair color, and have asked for our money back. Both were declined. I would not recommend them at all. As I am now spending more money to FIX my hair. read more

Its not just her knowledge of the products and skin that set her apart but her healing energy and her clear interest in making you look and feel your best.
