I found that Bayside Meditation offered online intro classes and I knew this was a great place to start. It was super easy to sign up for this introductory course, and the communication/correspondence was super clear and straightforward. They also have flexibility with times and days as well. I booked my initial class for the following morning and it was easy as that. I made sure I was in a quiet place in my house set up my computer with my AirPods and opened the zoom at my appointment time. Anna was there to greet me promptly and we shortly began our session. She was kind, patient, and a joy to speak to. She also took the time to explain the process to me and how meditation can affect our every day lives. Her session was relaxing and comforting. Is there a membership in my cards? I'm not sure. But I did feel at peace after speaking with her and would try to do a session in person soon! Any tips for meditation would be greatly appreciated!!

At it's peak, there were 150+ fellow viewers. I loved every moment... the wonderful instructor was extremely calming, motivating, down to earth and genuinely positive. I wish I could make him the voice of my alarm clock each morning. Thank you again for hosting this. I've done a few guided meditation sessions before and this one was amongst the most well run. In fact, I almost forgot that this was being done over Zoom... it felt like the class was literally happening within my living room. At times like these, it was such an honor to be surrounded (even if virtually) by hundreds of like-minded and positive individuals. That group dance sess at the end was the icing on the cake!

With work and other outside demands, we need to let stuff go so that we can live in the moment and be happy. This helps to be more focused, energetic, and appreciative. I feel that anyone with a stressful lifestyle could benefit from this center's services. They offer on line classes or online one on one sessions. They are open every day- so there is no excuse to not be able to get some stress relief! Their hours are Monday- Saturday 10 am-10 pm and Sunday 10 am- 3 pm! After the class was over, I was told that a few of the kids have improved their ADHD and Asberger condition over the years as they have come for many years. I was shocked and dumbfounded because the kids I saw were brilliant and I never wouldn't thought they would have any kind of "mental disorder" at all. I just saw the most creative and joyful little beings! The managers, Alina and Taryn spin a web of magic and wonder for these kids to jump right in! They provide a safe and loving environment for everyone to feel comfortable and accepted. They also offer yoga classes for adults to preoccupy them while kids are having fun! I enjoyed the class itself as the staff is warm and inviting. The restorative yoga class, in particular, is AMAZING and I am sad it's not currently been offered. They are generous with their intention and attention. I am sure you Yogis out there get that. Instruction is great! I would give the studio 5 stars if the instructors took more of a lead in getting classes started and folks settled. Given that it's a small space it needs to be managed, and on both my visits folks were left to themselves to get things going. This approach can work for some but I don't need the stress of waiting for the gaggle of women to stop chatting up the instructor so we can get started, or be left to negotiate floor space even when I signed up in advance.
