Our sound-bath meditation was on point from the individual who speaks through the process and the breathing techniques during. I don't even know if I fell asleep or not lol. i was that relaxed. I was that comfortable and appreciated the me time and peaceful sounds. At one point you do hear the crashing sounds of a gong or horn (sorry first time and don't know the terminology) that were a little too loud that is what startled me and I was not able to go back into the concentration. Only downfall was they forgot to give me my blanket to cover up with so I was freezing the entire time. It's not a place you can raise your hand or yell out. I appreciate they do provide lockers, that you can personalize during your visit, with included phone chargers, clean bathrooms and a selection of warm teas.

I arrived at 1pm and there were several other folks there for the event. After signing in at the desk, the staff walked me over to the locker and showed me where to keep my things. After everyone arrived, one of the ladies gave us an intro to meditation and then we watched a 7 min video about the science behind mindfulness and meditation. The video needs to be updated as there was a lack of diversity (e.g, age, race, etc.) and that turned me off slightly. After the video, we were walked into the room, asked to grab a blanket and got into the hammock for the 45 minute sound bath and meditation. I serve on a board for an organization that's focused on mindfulness but this was my first time participating in a full on practice. It was very calming and allowed me to really get centered. The time went by fast and our instructor set the right pace. They offer a free session for first timers so I will be taking advantage of that. The studio is very clean, and they offered tea and other refreshments. But most importantly, there's plenty of parking.

Joni is so good at what she does. First time I went we look at my chakra's - she told me to rebook for an hour. She didn't want to do a halfway job. 3 of the longest days were spent waiting until I could come back. It was WORTH IT! She did her work and my chakra's were more open - a few were looking pretty bad. I know everyone's experience is diffrent - both times I've left feeling INCREDIBLE! Its good stuff and worth at the very least trying out. And of course I've been back since and only wished I would have started sooner. If you're looking for chakra balancing - go ahead and schedule it - you can thank me later.

We conversed about why I was there and her vibe was easy and honest: like talking to a wide friend. She checked my chakras then went to work. The overall experience was comfortable and clarifying. I left and was feeling better for days after. Often time we store energy in our bodies when stressed, triggered, or traumatized which causes blockage. I'm thankful for her healing work in releasing areas of blockage yet, getting to know me first. After our session, she gave me homework I.e. meditation, smudging, affirmations and the reasons behind them. I highly recommend Indigo lightpath and look forward to my next visit!

I visited this Buddhist center back in March 2025 for an open house. I occasionally practice…read moreBuddhism for my spirituality. Upon coming here, the building was extremely dark at night. The open house started at 7:30 PM. I would have liked and thought there was going to be well lit as well as them welcoming newcomers, however, not. The building was sketchy too. The parking was plenty, but I immediately felt uneasy and as I was about to leave until another visitor/an elderly lady spotted me in the parking lot and asked me where the open house was going to be. I pretended I knew to help her. Eventually, we were both lost when I couldn't get the door opened as it was locked at 7:20 PM. A guy walked up out of nowhere and said he had a key, then he unlocked the door. Another guy with long hair came from upstairs and said that the open house was "up here". The elderly lady got into the elevator while I climbed the stairway up. I was thinking that the open house would be in a large room. Absolutely not, about 10 people met inside a small room. Come to find out, the tiny room is where the Buddhist center is not the whole office building. There wasn't any shoes allowed in the room for comfort. Okay, I'm inside the room and sat in a chair as I didn't feel comfortable with sitting on the floor. The rest of the visitors sat on the floor. The guy with long hair came then immediately started explaining Tibetan Buddhism and how ties to Karma Kagyu, but founded by Lamar Ole Nydahl. He was speaking fast and I tried to keep up. He then started chanting. He had given us beads to hold. Again, we all chanted with him. He was reading a mantra very fast in a language I didn't recognize. It wasn't English as they said it would be. I don't know why he was going so quick. After he did that, the open house was over with. We had to give the beads back. The long haired man answered questions. Then we left. The open house was free. I honestly didn't care about my experience as it wasn't pleasant. I didn't return as the energy was off. I'll just stick to mediating at home.

Our class took place on a Sunday evening and it was the perfect way to unwind before the busy week ahead! I left feeling relaxed, refreshed and calm - three feelings that I hadn't experienced much beforehand as it's been a stressful couple of months for me. When you first get there, you'll likely stand outside the front door (located on the second floor inside the building) as the instructor will open it just before class starts. IMPORTANT: they ask you to leave your shoes outside the front door, so if you're not comfortable with that, don't book a session! I'll definitely be returning as I really enjoyed this experience!

On her website it does mention that doors will close after 5 mins. My sister and I got there right at 5:55pm as the class was starting at 6pm. We mention d that we have a couple others who are stuck behind an accident but will will be here by 6:10. She stated that there were 7 people missing and that she would wait until 6:10 to close the doors. Okay, thank you being things can happen. She literally waited for one person to come and then closed the doors. My friends literally came at 6:10 and being that two others were 2 mins behind they decided to not come in and just leave that way others aren't sitting out. That's fine. She gave them their money back. Again, thank you. However, the customer service is not there. The experience is good, I would do it again, just, not there. Going through her Google reviews, it makes sense. The meditation portion was great, but she isn't the friendliest. Upon arriving, she states to put your shoes on a shoe rack in the hallway. My sister wore some Jordans. There is NO way she was going to leave them in the hallway to end the experience and they not be there when done. So she put them in the cubby inside the room. When we were done, there is a place in the lobby with stools and couches you can sit on. We tried to sit down to put on our shoes, she stood right in front of the carpet, extended her arms from east to west and said, "no, no, I don't allow shoes in this area..." that's fine, but to shoo us into the hallways... that could have been handled differently. Needless to say, I would love to try it again, just not here. As the customer service isn't top tier. The experience is.
