For the services I really enjoyed the 60 min Balance & Stretch massage with Michael. I felt so relaxed. This was much needed. Secondly, I enjoyed the Platinum Hydrafacial Treatment. Nikki started by asking me about my skin, the products I use, any areas of concern etc. Once we got through that, beverages were offered and I disrobed and laid on the most comfy spa bed. Nikki explained each step of the facial as she was going through. I even added on dermaplaning (removal of facial hair) to my service. I was low key scared to have a straight razor going over my face but I survived lol. The facial was relaxing and I love my results. Nikki also sells products she recommends like dermalogica at her spa as well. She even wrote up a home care regimen for me which I definitely needed. I know nothing about skin care so it's always been dove soap and Keri lotion for me LOL. This spa is conveniently located in Foundry Row in Sola Salons. Definitely book yourself a service.

When I first went to see him 20 years ago he listened to my concerns and right away put me at ease. We found a solution to my health issue. Another major plus in my book. When you call the office you get a real live person who answers the phone. Which is very rare these days. I highly recommend if your in need for a dermatologist make an appointment today!!!

I waited less than 10 minutes before being taken to the exam room. I was in and out of the door in about 30 minutes. Doctor Snyder has a very VERY odd sense of humor and it is most often times inappropriate and can been felt as condescending. He can be very unprofessional (not in an adult/dirty way). He will put information in his notes that is just plain false. For example, I looked, because it's MY information, and noticed that he claimed to have advised me and recommended certain things. When I asked, yes, he did tell me, but he only mentioned those things after I asked. I asked after he closed the screen as he could have been about to tell me those things. He is very knowledgeable, but wants to show it, and for you to know that he is very knowledgeable. This is why, in my opinion, he very often jumps in to answer a question without the question being asked...he assumes what you may be about to ask. In my opinion, this is just rude. You can and should wait until I asked the question fully, to ensure that you understand it, and then answer. Again, his personality is very offputting and just not inviting or welcoming. I want my doctor to be very knowledgeable, but I also don't like being interrupted when I'm telling you something that is of concern to me. Just listen, then speak, like I do when you are talking. We can sing at the same time, but we cannot effectively talk at the same time. The level of care received is standard, again, he is knowledgeable.

I scheduled this appointment because I have been struggling with a persistent scalp condition that has not improved despite using medicated shampoos and following treatment recommendations. I came looking for answers and a treatment plan. Instead, I left feeling stereotyped, judged, and disrespected. The visit began with the physician looking at my chart and asking his medical assistant how to pronounce my first name. They went back and forth about it while I sat there before I eventually said it myself. If he was unsure, he could have simply asked me directly. The appointment quickly shifted to questions about how often I wash my hair. While that can be a reasonable medical question, the conversation repeatedly focused on assumptions about Black women's hair care practices and whether Black women follow treatment plans. I repeatedly explained that I wash my hair, use medicated shampoos, and follow directions, including allowing treatments to sit as instructed. My reason for seeking care was that these measures were not resolving the problem. What frustrated me most was that I did not feel my concerns were being evaluated before assumptions were made. Rather than focusing on why my condition persisted despite treatment, the physician repeatedly questioned whether I would follow recommendations. At one point, after making a recommendation, he told me I probably was not going to follow it anyway. I responded that this was a very presumptuous statement. He denied making assumptions despite having just made one. I told him directly not to stereotype me and repeatedly attempted to redirect the discussion back to treatment options. Instead of feeling heard, I felt dismissed. Another concerning moment occurred when he told me not to leave and discuss his comments with the front desk staff. I told him that if I had a concern, I would address it directly with him, which I did throughout the visit. My 17-year-old daughter was present and witnessed the interaction. She was disturbed by the way I was spoken to and uncomfortable with the tone of the visit. During both of our appointments, the medical assistant repeatedly attempted to excuse the physician's behavior by saying he was "just joking" and that he was "good at his job." She also encouraged us to overlook his comments because he had helped clear her own skin. Patients should not need staff members to explain away or justify a physician's conduct. To be fair, I was given prescriptions and a treatment plan. My concern is not that I left without treatment. My concern is that the interaction was so negative and unprofessional that it undermined my trust in the physician. Trust is a critical part of healthcare, and once it is lost, it becomes difficult to feel confident in the care being provided. I have worked in healthcare for years and have never had a provider speak to me in this manner. Clinical knowledge is important, but so are professionalism, respect, communication, and cultural awareness. Patients deserve all of those things. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I will be seeking care elsewhere.

The PA I met with was very kind and helpful, and overall my experience in the office was great. That all changed when I got the bill. I had visited for a skin cancer screening, that's what I said when I made the appointment, that's what I did in the office, but when I was billed by them for the lab work, they didn't bill it as preventative care. As a result, my insurance didn't cover the tests (even though it was in-network) and I am having to pay out of pocket. If you are planning to pay out of pocket, I do think they are worth visiting, but if you plan to use insurance, think twice! Update responding to comment: I have already spoken to the billing department. They were the first people I called when I ran into issues. In fact, I was going to write a 5 start review initially, but after speaking to billing and being told, quite rudely, that you "don't offer preventative care" I came here to share my experience with others.

For those who are interested but not quite sure what Drip IV is--IV Hydration Therapy is a treatment where fluids and electrolytes are administered directly into your bloodstream for immediate absorption. A specially formulated drip of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and sometimes medication can be added to the infusion catering to your specific needs. GlowRx IV Drip Bar has seven different formulas you can pick from and has the ability to add on a 500ml bag of saline for just an additional $40.00 (an amazing deal). If you have not yet tried IV Hydration, this establishment would be a great place to start! Nurse Practitioners, Kasha (owner) and Kerry were there to assist in the Drip IV process from start to finish. Both are willing to answer all questions you may have and are filled with endless amounts of knowledge on the formulas. This Drip Bar also has a Shot Bar (Injectable Vitamins), medical weight loss therapy, chemical peels and red light therapy.

I called for a same day appointment and was throughly pleased they were able to accommodate me in less than an hours notice. I'm a "it cost what it cost" girlie so the price didn't sway my decision of trying one way or another. I did opt for the immune + which priced my bag roughly at $150 with a $20 off for new guests. The space is inviting and nicely maintained. There's lots of natural sunlight in the waiting area. After registration, I was taken in the back and iv inserted. From there I walked to the drip area where my bag was inserted. The drip lasted roughly 30 mins or so but it felt longer because it made the entire right side of my body very cold. It's two days later and I physically feel better even though I still have cold symptoms. If you're curious I'd recommend checking this business out. Now... onto the non IV related part of my visit which explains less than a 5 star review. Upon arrival the staff was in the back of the office space holding what appeared to be a sales rep mtg. I heard all about pricing of Botox, how to increase sales, and some personal life stories. I'm not a prude, I don't care what you talk about but thought it odd as a customer this conversation was had in ear shot. When I went to private room I noticed a lot of signage and equipment unrelated to drip services so inquired what else they did there. Turns out it's a full med spa. I recently started injections and would have been open to learning more but wasn't presented with anything else but a list of services. No biggie. As I sat with my drip, sales rep left and I overheard conversations that again I found odd to be shared with a customer present. I won't go Into details but trust me on conversation should have been moved to different location or had when customers are not present. Lastly, right as I started my drip, I was asked to let them know if I got cold during treatment. I acknowledged. Well as mentioned earlier I was uncomfortably cold. I thought about ending my session early due to coldness. But there was no one in my immediate area during my drip. I was not going to yell for assistance, but would have appreciated a walk through to see if I needed anything. After my service, I asked if it normal to feel this cold and I was told yes, that's why I asked you to let me know if you get cold. Noted.
