Excellent.. I have been there 5 times since they open. I have watched them grow. Great customer service. Sometimes just being nice my massage is longer than an hr. I have had a massage by everyone but one person and each time is better and better. I have a hard job as a Paramedic and it's a lot of wear and tear on my body but when I leave there I feel as if I could work another 24 hrs.. I tip no less than $20 each time that's a lot for me I'm cheap lol..but it's well deserve. My 2nd home now lol I actually got in trouble from a friend because I went without her. They found the receipt on the floor. I often don't treat myself but when I do it's here. I can't say enough good things about the staff professional, friendly,just good people. I went for a couples massage back in the spring and LOVED IT. I was coming from virginia in the middle of crazy traffic and they were kind enough for wait for my arrival. I'm going to start with the positive. The place is very cozy, my husband and I where attend to quickly and the facility is very nice and relaxing. Do not judge it by the outside location. We made our appointment for the same week we call in and had no problem booking. We received a txt message with our appointment info. and a courtesy call 1hr before the massage to see if we where still coming. We where the last once in the place and Kia was patient to let us do our 30min sauna time even when she was the last one left in the spa. If I where to give this place 5stats I would: Hired employees with common sense on guest service or experience and even then train them in this aspect. When I call I had to repeat to Jasmine 8times my phone number because she was paying more attention to the conversation around her than myself the person on the line. As I am waiting on the phone she keeps on talking to others witch I find it to be not professional ( from this point I was skeptical about the hole deal I got from group on) The same thing happened with the person who call 1hr before the massage I try to ask her something and she hand up on me. The hole front desk department need some training in Guest service. The second thing I would make sure that before I bring someone in to a room the previous guest belonging aren't there and the towels for the fave in the bed are clean. I got a Groupon for body Bliss. I've never been there before. Granted, I only left a couple days before the Groupon expired to make an appointment. But body bliss said because it will be past the Groupon's expiration they would charge me $25 fee. They, would still honor the Groupon. As life would have it I wound up being sick the day of my appointment and had to cancel. I wanted to reschedule and they told me it would be a $25 fee. So this Groupon which was a free gift is now costing me $50 if I want to use it. I have decided not to use it, I'm going to save my $50. I will also not be going to body bliss. I don't think they have a very good business model that is customer friendly. read more

First let me start off by saying that I'm probably the last person who should review a massage. My massage rating is as following 1 (great) I didn't leave feeling worse than when I arrived to 5 (horrible) My back is on fire from some random rubbing all my skin off. My rating for spas in general is how stressed do I feel when I leave. Well I needed a drink once I left this place. I got a living social deal from a friend so I decided to go ahead and try it out since it was about to expire. So I arrived about 5 minutes late because I drove around to find close parking. Not knowing the neighborhood real well that was important to me. I did call to inform them of my tardiness and it was no problem. When I finally walked in, someone (who I later learned was my masseuse) asked if it was my 1st time there. I said yes and was told to fill out a form. I laughed because typically when you walk into a spa the greeting is a little different. I would have liked a hello or welcome but whatever. There are two seats in the reception area. My masseuse was sitting in one of them and the other had a bag of trash in front of it. You would think as I stood there filling out a form and employee would say "sit here" or at least move the bag of trash. Of course she didn't. About a minute later, a gentlemen came out and did exactly that. I'm kinda thankful to him because that is probably the best thing that happened while I was there. Filled out the form, gave the receptionist my voucher. She introduced me to the woman sitting in the chair as my masseuse and off we went. First room we went to had someone in it. As the masseuse, Monica/Monique went around looking for a new room I stood in the lounge area. I am not about to follow you as you get your stuff together. Finally she came back and told me to follow here. We walk into the brightest room I've ever been in and she instructs me to undress and get on the bed. While lying there waiting on here to come back I'm shivering from how cold the room is. She returns and begins the massage. The bright light is still on, the room continues to be freezing, and the music was incredibly loud. Then she proceeds to rub the skin off my back. Needless to say there was not one moment where I was relaxed. Toward the end she grabs my head. Now I indicated on the form not to touch my face or scalp. It freaks me out when strangers touch my head. Not to mention I was fresh one the salon so I definitely didn't want her hands and all that massage oil on my freshly washed hair. When she grabs my head I literally jumped. I took her hands off my head and said no. Please don't do that. She proceeds to explain to me why she is doing it. I'm annoyed at this point because if I tell you not to do something during a service that was paid for please don't give me explanations. Just don't do it. Once again I say no. Her response, then your massage is over. That was the nicest thing she said to me since I arrived. She gave me a towel for the excess oil and told me she would leave me water at the front. At this point I'm googling the closet bar because I am in desperate need of scotch. My back is on fire and The receptionist asks if I'm leaving a tip. Typically I believe in over tipping when using Groupon/Living Social voucher because I know the services are at a discount but at that moment all I could say was no else I would have exploded with curse words. Funniest moment though was when I said no the receptionist took my cup of water. All I could do was laugh. I guess no tip equal no water. As I wrote I may not be the best person to write a review of a massage but I do know when I feel welcomed and void of stress. This place did neither. I give it a 3 because I don't believe you can rate an entire spa on the actions of 1 masseuse so maybe a different masseuse would make the experience much better. I don't know. Plus it was a discount voucher and I believe that a lot of places treat patrons with voucher differently from regular customers. Either way this was my experience and I won't be back even if I am given a gift voucher again. read more

I wanted to like this place. I really really did...Where do I start? So, appointment and scheduling was professional and courteous. I loved the text message and call reminder the day before my appt. On the day of my appt., I was late. I called twice to let them know I would be late - no answer. I continued to drive to the place, thinking the worst they could do was tell me I missed my appt. I had no clue the place was in Canada. No seriously, it was so far, I thought I drove to another country. LOL. After going through customs, I pulled up to the place - the building was tacky and located in a sketchy part of DC. Not necessarily unsafe, just sketchy. However, when I walked in, I was very happy to see a pretty clean, comfortable spa ambiance. The warm tones were nice and it looks like they got most of their decor from TJ Maxx and Marshall's, with a few pieces from Walmart (LOL). Aesthetically, I'd give it a B-. When I walked in, I apologized profusely and the receptionist told me they could still squeeze me in. Another very good sign! I filled out the paperwork and waited about 10 minutes, until was called to the back. The room had two massage beds. I was told to get prepared and the therapist would be right with me. The escort did not tell me which bed to get in, so I chose the one away from the door. When the therapist walked in, she told me that I wouldn't get the full 60 minutes (because I was late), but she would try give me as much time as possible. I was okay with this. She then began the massage and passive aggressively complained about the table being to high. Her exact statement was "Oooh, this bed is too high. It hurts my back." Even though I was naked and comfortable on that bed, I figured that was my cue to offer to switch to the other bed. I just wanted my massage to be the best possible, so I offered to move. She initially said, "No, that's okay" and two-seconds later said "Well, maybe we should switch." So I got up and moved to the new bed. She liked that one better - glad SHE was comfortable. (I thought I was the one getting the massage here, but...nevermind.) So finally, my massage starts. Her technique was generally good! Firm, yet relaxing. I'm feeling great and enjoying my massage, until I feel a cold drop on my back. I tried to ignore it until I kept hearing sniffles - massive, annoying, loud sniffles. Abruptly, the therapist says..."I'm sorry, I have to go blow my nose." Immediately, I put two and two together and realized, the therapist had actually dropped snot on my back!!!!!!! How freaking disgusting. At this point, I wanted to get up and leave, but I didn't. She comes back 5 minutes later (I pray she washed her hands) and apologizes profusely saying she "has sinus issues and it doesn't help that she's always hold her head down during the massages". I'm thinking...if you have sinus issues you should've (a) took meds or (b) stayed home, because dripping mucus on a client's back is not cute. I couldn't really enjoy the rest of massage, because I kept fearing snot would drip on my back. 10 minutes later the massage was over and I was relieved. I was escorted to the "sauna" which is basically a closet area, where they placed a 1-2 person electric sauna. I definitely expected something more extravagant. Overall, my massage was generally good, with the exception of the snot issue, which is kinda major. All things considered, I won't be returning. (This visit was on 8/28/15.) read more

I wasn't too upset when the 60 min massage turned out to be 45min and when the inferred sauna, that I also paid for, was broken. We talked the whole time about wholeness and faith my first time. The receptionist Teresa is also amazing! Twice now she has pulled strings with the schedule to give me the best possible experience. I bought a Groupon for a couples massage months ago and finally got a chance to use it last night. We were coming from Arlington for a 6pm massage, and it took about an hour to get there driving. We anticipated the traffic, gave ourselves plenty of time and found street parking right in front of the salon. It's kind of off the beaten path, but the inside is wonderful. We were greeted by Theresa who was very friendly and called me the day before to confirm the appointment. We arrived 15 minutes early, so we filled out the massage paperwork and she showed us our room. To our surprise she graciously let us use the sauna (even though it wasn't part of our Groupon) so we could relax and warm up before our massages. It was so generous and sweet of her!! When we were ready for our massages, Jessica and Athena came to our room and were very polite and asked us about pressure, what we liked, etc. The hour passed by way too quickly- they were amazing. They stretched us out and really paid attention to the problem areas that we mentioned. The room was dim, smelled great and had a fireplace to set the mood. My fiancé and I are always looking for Groupon's and Living Social Deals for couples massages, and this was by far the best we've been to. We will definitely be returning. read more

I wish I could give just 2.5 stars because honestly...that's all it's worth. But, I'll digress... my homegirl and I booked the detox package deal. It included hydrotherapy, a body wrap and a foot detox! It was at best, BLAH. We had our hearts set on a girls day out of detoxing! So, what they don't tell you is that there is one of each type of equipment. Thereby making our relaxing ladies day out...a SOLO act. Essentially, we had to take turns with everything. No chatting, no girl time giggles...except via text! THAT SUCKED, but we let it slide! On the day that we went, it appeared that they were short staffed (again, we'll let that slide) but where I draw the line is being adequately prepared to address the staff shortage issue. For example, after being wrapped and prepared for the sauna, my friend is blowing up my texts asking where shorty doo wop is? As I sat in the sauna like a baked potato, of course I had no clue! Well come to find out, he had left the place to run to Costco to buy more Saran Wrap?! *insert 'are you serious' face here* Because our appointments were not last minute, nor did we just walk in, they should've been adequately prepared!! Don't leave your clients just sitting, twiddling thumbs, waiting for you! I think the owner means well, and has "okay" customer service BUT some things are unacceptable, in my opinion. Everyone was very nice and professional. Lauren, who did my deep-cleansing facial, was particularly delightful! I bought a couple's package through groupon and tried to make an appointment, first call the rep said the sauna was broken, she was impatient and rude in the first conversation, I called Groupon and explained that the service I bought was not available, I decided since Groupon could not change the special I would take a L and just get the massage, I called back to book the appointment since it was still a reasonable price and I liked the review of the place. She said the first available date she had was the 30th of May, I told her I needed a date in June every date I gave her she was either not available or some other excuse, saying since it was groupon I should have booked months in advance, I just bought it today, kinda hard to call before today. Wow - my husband and I used our Groupon for the couples massage today and we feel great and can't wait to go again. The environ inside was wonderful; I loved the music that was playing in the massage room. The therapists (Kia and Sierra) were so quiet and respectful that it was just a great experience. Perfect pressure. I told my therapist I had stress in the upper back but also wanted a massage of my stomach area because I'm working on circulation there for detox as well as stretch marks. My husband and I had an hour long couples massage with 30 minutes infrared sauna. The staff greeted us promptly and friendly. We were taken back and told what to expect immediately. Will not be coming back after male masseuse exposed my breast! I felt compelled to write this review because I felt violated and others need to know. The owner needs to make a change. This was my 4th time coming here even though I don't care too much for the location. But I was in need of a massage so I purchased a groupon for the 60 min massage plus infrared sauna. When I got there, there was no record of my Appt as it had been canceled, even though I confirmed it days prior. The lady helping the receptionist was nice and arranged for me to proceed. A guy gave me my massage, I believe his name was Stevie? It was not the owner. I was uncomfortable throughout the whole ordeal as he was very focused on my butt area even though I told him my problem area was my neck and shoulders. I tried to let it go and said to myself that he is a professional. When it came time to turn over, he made sure I was covered. I was appreciative of that. But then he asked if he could give an abdominal massage and I agreed. He said can I put a towel over your breast? I agreed, I mean that's what they're supposed to do. But instead of putting the towel on 1st and then slipping down the blanket, he pulls the blanket down completely exposing my breasts! I jumped and said Oh! He asks if I was ok. I told him I thought you were going to put the towel on first. He apologized and asked if I was ok again. I said I'm fine but really I was pissed. I've had many massages in different states and even dif countries and never has anyone exposed me. And when he was finished and I told the receptionist that I did not get to do the sauna. Today my morning didnt start as well as expected but from there on it got alot better. I do me ALOT. Why? Well Body Bliss Suites provided me with a massage service that was well needed, recieved, appreciated and lets say worth every dollar and some! This was my second visit and both times I was satisfied and in better shape than when I walked in. Here's my observation: First hats off to Teresa. She seems to keep the place in such good and proper business order especially for the type of services being offered. She's usually the first person you'll meet upon entry to the facility. Two things that come after that is her warm greeting and a smile. I cant count how many times she'll smile and check up on you. Her constant follow up displays her consciousnes of making sure customers are comfortable and needs are being addressed. She also coordinates a staff of friendly experienced therapist, managing appointments, phones, and overall she makes sure the place is running at an optimum level. She is on top of things. Secondly, my massage therapist Jessica is an angel. Ok, I dont know if her place of residence is heaven but she sure made me feel as if I was there...seriously. I've had many massages as my lower back and disc tend to get compounded, sore, and tight from sitting on hard surfaces too long at times. It results in sharp pain, tight muscles and then theres overall body/mental stress at times. Jessica put all that to rest. Her intitial introduction and approach is warm and friendly. She makes it a point to find out what your needs are and if there's a particular pressure preference you prefer. She obviously gets mentally in touch with her customers before she applys her craft. From there its heaven bound. She is good. I mean real GOOD. Her soothing technique, patience, and attentiveness cannot be mistaken. I was really impressed. She is a master craftsman. Ok craftswoman if thats more appropriate. Lastly, as she concluded her service she smiled and said "I love what I do". Now how many people really love what they do as a profession. I mean LOVE? Well Jessica made a believer out of me. Dont know if she'll receive the Nobel Peace Prize but hell she's got my vote. Put my pain to PEACE. Thanks Jessica. You're a godsend! She told me that the online website special had expired. I checked the website when I got home and the special is still there, with no expiration date. This place was awful and the masseuses were terrible. My boyfriend got us a couples massage for our one year anniversary and my father passed and he wanted to help me feel relaxed, which is opposite of what I felt being there. We were a bit late because it was raining and traffic was bad. We got there and waited for our masseuses for twenty minutes and was not offered anything to drink. The one masseuse comes in with no introduction and aggressively said the portion of the deal they were giving, which was the sauna, was too late for us to use because we were late. We accepted the couples massage and I waited for an introduction and a talk about what kind of massage we would like. Neither masseuse introduce themselves and just began the worst massage of my life. The masseuse was really painful and hurt my back and was not reading my body cues. It was my nightmare, truly. It felt like hammers being jammed on my body and sand paper rubbing against my skin because her hands were so dry. They used lotion and it was drying up. I was expecting oils and aromatherapy but it was cheap lotion. The music was repetitive and not relaxing. I really needed a day that allowed me to escape reality and release my stress and troubles. Spas have people coming from all walks of life and need to understand that they are serving a population of people who just live a stressful life and want a moment of peace. owner has no damn clue about customer service. After speaking to someone last week (3x!) to confirm that I would be able to use the groupon my mom purchased to get a message today, I showed up only to be told that the groupon had been redeemed. I was asked twice, who redeemed the voucher, and after I told them I didn't know they conferred among themselves and I guess decided that I could get the massage that I scheduled. I was simply told to wait in the other room by the owner and he walked out. This after interrupting me when I attempted to explain the conversations to set up appointment last week with someone that I understand now was a temp. Not a good excuse but anyway.... I had to ask for an apology for the confusion. The owner said not apologize but the receptionist did and the masseuse did after I recounted my story. That said, my masseuse, Camay, did a very good job, but I would never step foot in this place again. It's often hard to find a place that offers reasonably-priced massages without sacrificing some quality-wise but I think I found it with Body Bliss! I came in today for a hot stone massage using a voucher I purchased from Amazon local. I was running a little late and I thought they may take the time from my scheduled 60 mins but they didn't (not that I noticed how long I was in there anyway I was so relaxed!) The place feels very spa-like...warm towels, nicely decorated, not to cold, etc. Reggie is great...professional, attentive, and ensures you're comfortable throughout the entire massage. While trying to purchase a couple massage on Living Social I called the office to check on availability. The lady I talked to couldn't had been more rude. i asked for availability on a particular day all she said was " we are booked", no " would you like to come another day" or "here is what we have available on other dates " NOTHING, no type of conversation I felt like I was bothering her. With that being said, I took my business else where in which I did paid more for the same service but I guess is true when they say " you pay for what you get". read more
