Our session was good, but I needed time to deliberate before moving forward - it was a bit commitment and I needed some time to reflect. The trainer got incredibly heated, first going on about how great his services were compared to everyone else and then shaming me for not committing on the spot and wasting his time. I let the trainer know that I am unemployed and rely on my parents for financial support, so I needed to deliberate with them before proceeding further. I felt belittled for communicating my needs, and received harsh criticism from the trainer about being "a waste of time." It should be noted that on the website, the first session is advertised as a "no obligation free workout." But the session took place in a paid gym. He paid for the day pass, which I was very grateful for, but upon completion, I refunded the money back. Still, I continued to receive verbal abuse from the trainer post session (see screenshot below) Final thoughts: don't offer no-commitment complimentary sessions on your website if you're gonna accuse people of wasting your time and shame clients. UPDATE: I've continued to be harassed by the trainer. Completely unprofessional.

I had just moved to LA after going through a really difficult personal loss, and I had gained weight due to depression. Before that, I had spent over a year doing Beachbody workouts 6 days a week, walking constantly, and eating as little as possible. Okay where do I even begin…read more A little bit of context about me, I'm a guy in his late 20s that has done light exercising and lifting sporadically throughout my adult life so far. I've never been able to really reach my fitness goals on my own even after countless hours of research of so many different workout regiments to gain mass. I decided this year that I was no longer going to create excuses and wanted to go all in with a trainer that I could trust to have my best interest in mind while still being able to push me past my limits.
