The atmosphere is calm and relaxing--the waiting area sets the tone with a spa-like vibe, and walking down the hallway feels like you're already beginning to be pampered. I've been to this place a few times and had a great experience. The downfall is trying to schedule an appointment for a massage. Everytime I call it's please hold and bam on hold - I'm on hold for more than 10min. I just hang up. Not the best way to do business! How do I use my gift card if I am not able to talk to someone? This was my very first massage ever so I really didn't know what to expect. But I must say it was a most wonderful experience. First off, when I first walked in I was pleasantly greeted by the staff member at the front desk (didn't get her name) but she was very friendly. The wait wasn't long before I was called in for my massage. Chantel was great. She asked if there was any area I wanted her to focus on(shoulder and lower back) and she did a great job. The staff was kind but the service was disappointing. Had an hour body scrub and she only put the scrub on for exactly 1 minute per section (5 sections) then washed the scrub off and message the rest of the time. So I basically had a 5 minute body scrub. I am not new to massages and body scrubs, so this isn't just my personal opinion. I get massages twice a month and a body scrub maybe 3 times a year. The infrastructure is very good, but the massage is the worst I have ever experienced. There is a fan in the room right above the massage table it is not good having all that wind over you during the massage. I've been going here for several years. It's been too many years for me to remember exactly how long. Michelle (owner) has always been fantastic, and massages have almost always been great. The couple of times I could have used a little more or less pressure, it was my own fault for not speaking up. If you're not getting the pressure you need or if there's too much pressure, they'll immediately adjust to your liking. At times, they will offer discounts where you're able to purchase gift certificates at that cost. I currently have eight or nine certificates. I mentioned that simply because you don't buy that many advanced services if you don't have excellent service. I highly recommend their massages. read more

Had a sugar scrub with Ms. Martha. She was WONDERFUL! Very gentle on areas I said were sore as she gave me a small shoulder and neck massage first. The scrub was great. We had our massage normal, but on the way out AFTER the service, the manager dropped the bomb that we cannot use groupon because I've been there less than 6 months ago! Serious?? Staff was friendly and helpful, and the space was what you'd expect from a high end spa, but at a much more manageable cost. I've been here 4x but unfortunately today's visit will be my last. While cleaning my deceased mom home I came across a gift certificate for 1 body massage. I called left a vm, explained that I found the gift cert and wanted to see if it was valid. Provided the gift certificate number on the vm. They called back asking what day i wanted the massage, so I assumed the gift cert was valid. I arrived, get the body massage. Provide the gift cert they input the number then tell me "OH IT LOOKS LIKE THIS CERT WAS ALREADY USED AND PROVIDED ME THE DATE IT WAS USED" I explained well I wasn't sure. That's why I called left a vm and Provided the gift cert number in the vm. They then tell me my balance is $80. I was beyond pissed. I would have never scheduled the appointment if they were honest and told me when they called me back that the gift cert was already used. Don't schedule me knowing the certificate I provided in the vm was already used. I could have gotten a Groupon for a local massage instead of driving 30miles and still having to pay $80 read more

I tried this business for the first time on Jan 28 with a 1 hour Swedish massage that was prepaid. Arriving early, I was told to return later at EXACTLY my appointment time as they were very busy. No problem, did that and arrived on time. I was escorted to a back waiting area where I waited for 10-15 min until someone was available. The facility is very nice, and MUCH bigger than it looks from the outside. I was very excited and optimistic for my first massage in several years. They took me to a treatment room, only to be told it was the wrong one....so back to the waiting area. After another 5-10 min they came to get me for my massage. I went in and the therapist said she was there for 8 years and very experienced.....I was hopeful for a great experience. We were getting started now about 30 min after I showed up for my appointment, but my expectation is they would still give me the hour massage session that I had paid for in advance.....I was wrong. As she started the massage she asked where I was sore and once I told her on my shoulders she said that would be an extra $30 if I wanted that area treated.....I declined since I had already spent over $100 for this one. She continued the rest of the massage for another 20 min and then said she was done as it was now approaching the start of the next hour. No acknowledgement that THEY started 30 min late and were apparently not prepared. The massage was not very good (after 8 years I would have thought she could do at least an adequate job....I was wrong...again...). I don't get very many massages and was hoping for a true 1 hour (or at least 50 min) massage that would relax me and didn't get that. My guess with the scheduling challenges and upsells that I would need to spend $200+ and book months in advance to get a shoulder massage. I have an appointment for another one with them in a week but not sure it's going to be worth my time and $$. It's obvious there are issues at this business and probably better to go elsewhere. As the saying goes you never get a second chance for a first impression, and for me the impression is that the business is not managed well and has a sole focus on intake of cash alone. REIVEW UPDATE 2/19/22: The management team got with me shortly after the initial review and we discussed the issue. Following that conversation I went in again and had a FANTASTIC experience! Phillip did a great job as my massage therapist, we started on time and went the full duration. He did a great job helping me with my problem areas, and I left feeling refreshed and pain-free! This experience was 1000% better than the first one, and will be coming back for sure! This place is wonderful! Hands down my FAVORITE massage therapist is FAITH. In all honesty, I have had a few therapists I wasn't impressed with. Faith is amazing though! I've seen some reviewers complain about having issues scheduling appointments, I haven't had any issues.
