Pros: polite workers, clean, good prices Cons: my massage kept getting interrupted to where my masseuse had to continuously leave the room to attend to the front door, at one point masseuse traded off on me for idk what reason. I had to keep on asking if it was a full body massage because they point 90% of the time on my back and being having done a hike yesterday I wanted to make sure my legs got worked on. Which got very very little time. Lastly they ended my massage short because they were "busy" yet other workers were hanging out in the back and the lobby was empty. So even though I paid for an hour and a half, they ended it at 1 hr and 5 minutes not to include the time taken away from the interruptions. And didn't even offer a partial refund of some sort. This is the second time I went there and wasn't happy the first time but wanted to give them a second chance, especially being so close. Most likely won't try a 3rd. read more

I was at Healthy Massage in Upland yesterday, and I was impressed with how professional and effective my masseuse performed during my 1-hour session. She asked me if I had any special problems with joints and muscles, and I told her my knee was an area of need, but I wanted my entire musculature to feel the benefit of the massage. The pressure and specific attention that she applied was effective immediately. She took special time to work on my knee, and it felt a lot better as she massaged it. Then she went to work on my back, legs, shoulders, arms, fingers, and feet. Eventually, she massaged my neck and head, and she did it with very professional skill and caring. After she finished, I asked her to walk on my back. This was very effective in finding tight muscles and making them feel relaxed. I really enjoyed this particular part of the massage. Then, we finished, and I thanked her, and said I would be back soon. This was a 5 Star massage, and I would recommend Healthy Spa in Upland to anyone who wants to feel better and to make their body healthier. read more

I was not welcomed when I entered and there was a language barrier between the workers there. They recommend payment before the service. What is even more weird is they wanted a tip after the session. The massage was super uncomfortable and unprofessional. Felt like she was massaging my spinal bones more than focusing on my pain. There was a lot of oils applied and made me even more uncomfortable. Overall I do not recommend those looking for a relaxing time to come here. read more

The last time I stopped by I was seen by a very nice lady named Gaga. She said she was from Taiwan. Her English was heavily accented but not hard to understand. I was on the table for an hour and enjoyed a very good massage. She checked on me frequently and if she hadn't I would've falling asleep. The massage pressure was firm but very relaxing. Gaga worked me from head to toe, front and back and knows how to use her hands to get the stress out and leave you relaxed. I will return and enjoy another relaxing session. read more

So I work in a community garden and I do a lot of computer work and I exercise 2-3x a week. I really needed a massage today. I decided to try a new place, and I walked into this place, and it seemed nice enough. The lady greeted me and asked, "how are you?" as she was walking down the hallway. I replied "sore", since she didn't hear me down the hallway she asked me two more times and even when she got really close she had no idea what I meant. So my joke failed hard. Anyways awkward greeting aside, I asked for a massage. The girl replied $40 for an hour massage. She had a really cold face too, but as soon as I took out my wallet and handed her the money she cheered right up. I got in the room, and it was really clean and calm, nice setting. The massage was really great too. But the only thing was the lady was talking chinese under her breath the ENTIRE time. And there were people talking in the hallway the entire time too. I didn't appreciate that at all. After the massage, I went to the counter to break a $20 for change for a tip, the girl said under her breath, "she wants change" as if I was trying to cheap out on a tip! Uggh I don't know why I gave her a $10 tip even after that! If you want to get a good massage but feel really awkward and disrespected afterwards, this is definitely the place.
