I went to Glo Tanning with High Hopes to get detoxed from past environmental toxins. I was excited about the red light, and saunas and the vibration machine. However, there was a STRONG FLOWERY scent that was so strong it knocked me over. I asked if it could be turned down and it was once. After that two machines were placed and I could no longer use the saloon services. My car smelled like the fumes, my home smelled and It affected my eyes, throat and skin. I already had cancer and it cost me 6 years of tonics and a $30,000 dollar surgery. I inquired to the staff. Some staff members experienced what I did and some had headaches and vomiting. The fix would be easy just not use toxic chemicals rather change to Young Life defuser. You'd have a natural oil and scent without causing harm to those who breathe it in. These kinds of toxins over time in many cases lead to cancer, brain issues, dementia, Alzheimer's, and skin rashes, headaches, and more. Wow! This place changed since the last time I have been here. They have a full-on salon here. I came here just for tanning and had a great experience. I believe the owner might have been working the night I came in, and my cousin and I received the best hospitality. The bed bulbs are powerful and did not burn our skin as other tanning beds in town. The prices are a little high, but it is worth it with the quality of the beds. read more

Best tanning salon ever!!! I'm only been a member here for less than a year and let me tell you it's the best place ever. The owner Stephanie and her sister Suzanne know everything about tanning. All the employees at Body Glo are such genuinely nice people and they have the best prices around for they're tanning memberships. They also have many great other services. I get my haircut there as well and Chris does a fantastic job and he's a very cool guy. The owners are hypocritical gossiping about every woman that comes in worst than high school it's really disgusting. The bathrooms are dirty and nails fall off and never were they nice enough to offer$80 of another service at least to rectify the bad job. As for there beautician after three years of doing hair color and cut. He decided to join his master's and mess up my hair by not dyeing the grey in the front for my birthday weekend and deciding to leave it like that acting like that's what he intended to do. Really, how do you say that with a straight face. Pure evil willed. They all have no sense of time individuals just sit there while the staff just gossips. Unwelcoming if your not a towny. I have been going to Body Glo since they opened about 10 years ago. Hands down the best spray booth around!! The bronzing bed is another favorite, along with the stand up. The nail technician is professional & creative when giving a pedicure and my gel manicures. She has a great selection of colors. My son and I both have gad facials there too! I don't write many reviews but I had to share my amazing experience at Body Glo. The owner was SO welcoming and friendly. She took the time to explain all the steps on how to do the Norvell Spray tan. She gave me great and honest recommendation for my skin type. I got the light bronze spray tan done and it gave me the perfect and natural glow and the best part, you do not get orange at ALL! It gave me such a natural tan. Every single person that works here is absolutely the sweetest. The beds are awesome!!! And worth every single dollar because you end up leaving refreshed and like a million bucks! Great local place to tan. Their beds are much better than the other local tanning salons and totally affordable too! I usually go on Thursdays for half price and $5 lotion shots, comes out to about $20 for the highest bed! For someone who only tans 1-2x a month, that's great! I heard they have an awesome spray tan great for competitors in muscle competitions or just a vacation or wedding too obviously. They have a blow out bar for your hair, and a make up artist.
