I scheduled a week drop in for this trip and my first session was with Coach Hannah. From the second that I walked into the facility on Tuesday, Coach Hannah made me feel like I was a part of the community. She asked questions and took the time to get to know me. When I told that I was only here for a week and not committing to a membership, she easily could have stopped putting in effort to make me feel welcome. But she didn't. She encouraged me through exercises, pushed me to work harder, and honestly, made me want to come back each day. She has a great rapport with the members and pays attention to their needs. It's refreshing to see a coach who engages with members even when technology does so much throughout the sessions. Thank you for the opportunity of a week of great workouts and thank you Coach Hannah for giving me a great first experience at Body Fit Training McKinney. I'll definitely be back!

After growing up the ultimate couch potato, I never thought I'd turn into an adult that seeks out…read morenew and different fitness challenges. But since I am always trying to slim this down and tone that up, here I was intrigued by the F45 concept. The owners of this franchise, Sang and Melinda, are the nicest people you'll ever meet. Super friendly, approachable and non-judgemental. The kind of couple you'd like to grab drinks with after you sweat your @$$ off in one of their classes. They took the time to understand my fitness goals and previous injuries and incorporate that into their gentle but firm nudges during the group classes. Imagine a mix of Curves, OrangeTheory Fitness, and Crossfit and you've got F45. 45 minute workouts in a circuit format. Generally you do three 35-60 second reps with a 10 second break in between and then move onto the next exercise. The workouts focus on either strength or cardio, depending on the day of the week, and the moves are all totally different every time you go in. Pros: - The workouts are only 45 minutes and it goes by fairly quickly - The personal training touch from Sang and Melinda can't be beat- they're always coming around correcting your form, making sure you're doing the moves correctly and motivating you to push a little harder -They provide towels and water, which is unexpected from a boutique gym -The facility and equipment are super clean- Sang is always running around wiping down sweat throughout the class and then sanitizing every piece of equipment after class ends. -The location is conveniently located right off 121 so it's easy to get to from Frisco, Plano, Lewisville and The Colony -Free one week pass with NO pressure. You don't even have to provide credit card info until you decide to join. Sang and Mel really want you to get the full experience before you have to make a decision. Cons: -The membership is a bit pricey. For my husband and I to join would cost us twice what we pay to be members at LifeTime and we're already paying an embarrassing amount of money there. -I find that because the reps are short and you move from station to station so quickly, sometimes by the time I get the correct form, I'm only able to do 1-2 reps of a move before time is up. -There is no instructor led cool down which I feel is so important. Someone could easily faint if they walked out into the Texas heat after such an intense workout without a proper cool down. Overall, this is a really unique concept with great owners. It's not for everyone but it's definitely worth you stopping in and giving it a try for yourself!

I really love how clean this studio is and the staff (Jerry) is very friendly and motivating. Karla, the head coach, is especially nice and knowledgeable. Will definitely continue to come here when I travel to the Plano/Frisco area. The studio is also right around the corner from Coffee U which I also recommend for that extra morning pick me up.

I finally gave in and wanted to see what all of the hype was about. I get it! This class is amazing! Sounds weird but I love that there are no mirrors. Everyone is there to really get a good workout it. You can go at your own pace as strong o heavy as you'd like and the workouts are different every day so you don't get bored. The trainers have all been great and supportive. The class is full but not over crowded and follow trainees are all really friendly. 10/10 recommend.

You get plenty of cardio through HIIT training, but you also get much more functional strength training as well. Also, I love the Fit3D body scanner. It's highly motivating for me to objectively see how my body is changing as I continue to work out at F45. I am lifting much heavier weights than when I started, I've decreased my body fat percentage by several points and I've increased my muscle weight (lean mass) significantly! Quick word of warning - Because of the intensity of these workouts, your first 10 workouts will be BRUTAL and you will likely be sore for days. If you are considering working out here, I strongly encourage you to push through those first 10 workouts. Keep in mind how great of a shape you'll be in if you stick with it. After having worked out here for several months, I am pretty close to being in the best shape of my life.
