I bought a Groupon here for a 90 minute hot stone massage. I called for an appointment and left a message. They returned my call a few hours later and were able to set me up with an appointment the next afternoon. The spa is in an unassuming storefront in a strip mall behind McDonalds. Once inside, it's nicely decorated so you don't FEEL like you're in a strip mall behind McDonalds. I was about 10 minutes early, and my masseuse was also the receptionist. I did some quick paperwork and she took me right back. The massage was pretty good. It seemed like she spent a lot of time gathering supplies and things throughout the massage, which is maybe normal for hot stone - I don't know. It wasn't the best massage of my life, but it was good and I wasn't sore afterward. Their prices are decent. I will likely be back. read more

I cannot say enough great things. I don't yelp much, however, I need to. I went to Alize who does evening appts. That's what I need because I'm a full time working mom. She went above my expectations. She had firm pressure and never hurt me once. Not only did she give me a 10/10 massage, she also showed me some stretches to help with some pain. This was last night and today, I feel AMAZING. I have felt terrible for about 5 months. The place is so relaxing and has the spa like feeling from the minute you walk in. I have had many massages at this place for quite a few years and each girl is awesome! The only criticism I have is that the new location always seems much louder than the old one. During my last 2 appointments I can hear multiple noises in the middle of the massage: the receptionist talking on the phone, microwaves being used, bells on the front door jingling, etc. Its just hard to try and fully relax. read more

I never actually made it inside to experience all the things they offer. I pre- bought a hot stone message and foot treatment directly from the shop and received the groupon price. If you buy it through the shop, it never expires. The day of my message, I came down with terrible food poisoning and had to cancel last minute. The owner was very understanding and offered to refund me completely. She sent my refund check all the way to Washington were I live and it came in a timely manner. Today, my husband and I received wonderful massages by Sam! I had a prenatal massage and my husband had a regular massage. We left very relaxed and rejuvenated. Sam paid close attention to our needs and worked out many tension knots I had in my back. One of my favorite things is that they use their own homemade massage creams and it's smells so amazing! I can appreciate homemade items like that and the one it takes to create them. My skin felt so amazing and well hydrated from the cream! Had an excellent Groupon massage by Mary, the mother of the mother/daughter owner duo. I have had massages many times by many different practitioners but I have to say that Mary is one of the best, trumped only by the ones I received at a spa in Hawaii on my honeymoon. The ambiance is great; the privacy is wonderful. It is quiet, the rooms are secluded and secure and dark, and she knows how to work the little details that make a massage great - custom scents, changing pressure, volume, etc. I will absolutely come here again, even if I don't get the Groupon Deal first. read more

My husband picked me up a Groupon for this place. I was a little shocked at first. Like what good place could be in this parking lot/store area park. But once your parked and walk in. The feeling of relaxed hits you as soon as the door closes. The smell and sounds and feeling of being somewhere different takes over. My massage and foot treatment were on point. My mom and I were going to be in Placerville and I wanted to surprise her with a massage. Mary was able to fit both of us in for an hour massage and we couldn't say enough. It was wonderful. I love their incorporation of the rocks. I had Sam and she worked out some serious tension in my shoulders and felt so much better afterwards. Very disappointed and terrible customer service. I purchased a Groupon for my finance and myself. We live local and wanted to support a local business. The hours of their ability cater to unemployed and not to those who work M-F 8-5pm. It took several phone calls with Mary to coordinate a date and time that worked with both of our schedules, but I did make my appointment weeks in advance. I spoke with Mary, she took my full name and phone number down when I made the appointment. I was running a few minutes late, so I called to let them know and spoke with Mary. She said she would let Sam know at the office. I get there and apologize for running a few minutes late and she immediately tells me I am going to have to pay the full price of the massage, as I was not a first time customer. I don't honestly remember ever being in before, but we all make mistakes. Sam proceeds to pull out a piece of paper and read off of it, "we have your file here from 2013 and in the fine print it says the services are for first time customers." I am a highly educated person, I know how to read and comprehend. Being spoken to in this way was insulting and infuriating. I said I didn't remember coming in, but that I was ok with paying the full amount. I get settled in for my massage and Sam comes back and says she spoke with Mary and that it was ok for me to just pay the Groupon price and not the full amount. This was nice to hear but did nothing for my ability to relax and enjoy the massage, after I was spoken to in such a manner. The massage concludes and I gather my things up and head out to the front. Sam greets me and offers me some water. She asks how I'm feeling and I reply that I feel a bit more loose. She then says to me, "well, maybe you shouldn't be late to your appointments and you won't be so tense." At this point, I shared what was on my mind during the entire message. I had multiple phone contact with Mary, and at no point was it mentioned that I had been seen for a massage. Sam retorts with, "well we do ask you on the phone if you had been in and we rely on that." To which I said, "well clearly you do check, as you have my file right there and the appointment was made weeks ago." Money is not the issue, for me it is a matter of principle and professionalism. Of which I was shown neither and instead, was subjected to passive aggressive behavior and treated as if I were trying to scam the system. I'm sorry I don't recall 5 years ago that I came to your business and clearly it was not great back then either. Needless to say, we will not redeem the second massage and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone because of how I was treated. read more

She did everything perfectly even on both sides. She use several different things to insure the massage is best for you. The staff and owner are very good. They ask what type of message you want and hook you up with just the right person. If you are looking for deep tissue you want Mary who is Jesse's mother and owner. I am one who prefers a Swedish massage on the gentler side so when I called they gave me the choice between two ladies and I picked Jesse I am sure I could not go wrong because their idea of massage therapy is fit to the persons needs.
