I went for a 75 minute foot reflexology session. With very little exception, almost all of the time spent was more of a massage than applying pressure points. The first thing the attendant did was apply some cream to my forehead to massage it. This was not pleasant at all because either the cream or her hands smelled strongly of mildew, like stinky mildewed towels. I was told to lay down on a wide bed/platform with my legs hanging over the edge while my feet soaked in a tub of water. Laying flat like this was very uncomfortable and hurt my back, the attendant eventually raised the head of the "bed" which helped quite a bit. The massage was not consistent in the techniques being used on both legs, e.g. some steps performed on one leg were not on the other. Also, my heels were barely touched. When I was instructed to turn over onto my stomach, a ring pillow was placed to cushion my face. The pillow needed washing as there was a musty smell coming from it; pretty gross. Again, this was more of a massage than a foot reflexology session (and a lot of time was not spent on my feet/legs) and while the attendants were very nice, I will not be going back. read more

My husband and I walked in just before closing, hoping they could fit us in for a massage. I specifically wanted a female masseuse, so the friendly man who was going to massage my husband quickly made a call to request a female masseuse for me. They were incredibly accommodating and kind, and they didn't make it seem like they were doing us a favor, even though they definitely were! The female masseuse arrived just a few minutes later, and it turned out to be one of the best massages my husband and I have ever had, and we've had quite a few! Even though we live about 30 minutes away, we're more than willing to make the drive to come back here because they were that good. Honestly this was one of the most horrible experiences I have ever had for any pop-in and rub my feet quickly type of establishment. I'd like to think I'm pretty seasoned when it comes to massages. I've had massage memberships at big name places, tried tons of various licensed therapists....I can promise you none of the protocol involves smoking a cigarette, not washing your hands, then touching all over someone's face, hands, feet....The "massage," itself if you could call it that felt like my two year old doing chopping motions and wrist rolls up and down my back. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! It was 2 stars because my boyfriend had a wonderful experience. He had an hour massage and cupping for 30 minutes. I have been here before and have had good experiences but today my massage was quite literally the worst massage experience I have ever endured in my life. I asked for the combo massage of 60 minutes for body and 30 minute foot massage. The man who gave me my massage was awful. He spent one full hour on my feet before brutally attacking my back for about 10 minutes. This was painful and my boyfriend could hear my grunts and moans from the pain. I asked him to go softer and less intense and I think this only inspired him to go harder. When we ended we went to the front desk and I explained my massage was not correct, and he spent too long on my feet and practically 10 minutes on my body. The woman who helped my boyfriend was excellent, but she did not speak English, so she grabbed someone else who spoke English, and the woman explained me that she was too busy to help me right now, and I needed to call the owner. I simply gave the woman my card and did not tip, if there is someone who speaks English in the building and she chose not to assist us I do not think this deserves a tip. I feel bad about this because my boyfriend had a great experience however, mine was awful and they weren't even willing to listen to me. The man who gave me my massage came out angrily (makes sense why he was going so hard on my body) and angrily expressed in another language that I was wrong. No one offered to help. Not coming back. Amazing experience! First time here after driving past it for fours years. I am not a fan of massages (normally) but my recent issues with having plantar fasciitis made me call for a foot massage. I was greeted as I walked in the facility which as everyone knows is not the norm anymore. I was asked if I had time for a one hour massage instead of the 1/2 that I had made a reservation for and that it was an additional $10.00. The gentleman that checked me in was rude, made no eye contact... barely even engaged with me. While getting my massage it felt like the man who was massaging me was simply going through the motions and not connecting with my bodies specific needs. It felt like he wasn't even present. The pressure was poor, the intention behind what he was doing was lacking. When I let the woman know at check out that I was unhappy with my experience she put it back on me and said I should have come out and let her know I was not enjoying my massage and she would have gotten me someone else. I work a job that requires so much from me; the majority of my time, my emotions, my mind, long days, and for me to treat myself to a $25 dollar massage I need to work three hours... it's a true indulgence that I treat myself too for self care. My parents used to go to their first location, but now they only come here because it's brand new and very clean (they have tried a few others in and around the Sacramento area and this is their favorite). I was visiting and accompanied them on their weekly appointment. Okay, folks, this is an HOUR long full body massage for $20 plus don't forget to tip your extremely hardworking reflexologist/masseur. I used to pay triple that amount for less time. The only difference here is that you don't disrobe. In a dimly lit room, you take off your shoes sitting in a very comfy recliner with ottoman and they start by soaking your feet in a basin of warm water, then full massage beginning at your scalp, face ( this is the only part that I didn't really care for ; I have an aversion to people touching my eye sockets) neck, shoulders, front of your legs, feet, then you turn over onto your stomach and work your entire back, back of your legs and feet again. There may be little pain ( in a good way) involved to work out the kinks and knots but you can also request degrees of pressure. Some like it rough, me not so much. Does that sound bad? Anyhoo, just try it once and I know that you'll be hooked. I almost didn't write a review at all, because, I am always thoughtful that if any business gets too popular or too busy, they may raise prices or the service or product may diminish in quality. But that's not the story. He massaged my back really HARd!! (I thought it was ok) I'm that person who have a high tolerance to pain but this one was a torture. I still didn't complain. After 1 hour, the receptionist asked how was it, we said it was really hard. "We never say good". She never had a reaction she had a super flat affect. Here, you keep you clothes on and they focus on your joints and applying pressure on your hands and feet. It was very relaxing and this facility was very clean and professional. I normally only allow women to massage me, however here I don't think you really have a choice. So I had a male's hand applying pressure on my body. This is 2011 people, and I have to say, I did not feel violated or uncomfortable at all. His hands on me felt like butter melting on hot biscuits. It was a wonderful 50 minutes! I paid $25 plus tip. I highly recommend this place. My reflexologist was great and he can put pressure on the back of my head and neck anytime, no HOMO! When I left this place, I thought I had received a rough, unpleasant massage that went with the short $$ I spent to get this done. When I came home, I was sitting with my wife who noticed something on my ear. Upon further investigation, my ear was bleeding! Not one, but both! The guy either tugged so hard on my ear that it split, or he dug his fingernails into them. My ear lobes looked like they were segmented in two, with a cut down the middle. I was pissed. The next morning I woke up and started ironing a shirt when my back went into full spasm and I was on the floor on all fours. This continued for 1 1/2 days until I could get into my chiro. He said that he has another patient who got his earlobes split at Reflexology 2 as well. He dealt with my spasming back and sent me on my way. My husband and I had our massages yesterday. First we had to wait 10 minutes for our appointment which is fine if they're running late but at least let us know. Then, we were put in the room and no directions on what should we do so we waited. When a lady walked in, she started accommodating my husband and then an older guy walked in and he started helping me but my husband specifically asked for a female to assist me. We called the manager and she said they don't have 2 female then we said then can the female lade help me instead. During the massage the lady was not giving me directions on what to do. My husband massage was 2-3 minutes ahead of me so the guy gave him directions to take hi shirt off and then when the lady left, I guess she just expected me to do the same but without any directions and btw she can speak English better than the others. Anyways, as the massage love on, I noticed that my feet was not covered and I started to get cold, and to get some attention I started to rub my feet together but she didn't get the message. And already frustrated with the whole experience, after she massage by bare naked back, she left and said she will get the hot stones but left my whole back uncovered, i was freezing cold because of the lotion on my back and also another male is in the room!!! Trying to help myself but if I move too much to put the towel on my back that I am scared that I might exposed more of myself, so I waited in anger just let the massage to get to done and just couldn't wait for it to be over. It's not the end of it all, my husband started paying and handed $20 to the cashier and she was asking if that for both of the massage therapists and when he said yes the lady asked for more money for the therapist and we started telling them that we did not like the service and the whole experience and I told my husband don't give them anymore but still handed $5 more but they're not happy with a total of $25 tip for 2. I started walking out and said it out loud that I am never coming back to that place!!!
