This place is not just gr8, it's gr9. But maybe I'm being biased because this was my first real spa experience. The first time I came in I came for a prenatal massage. In order to get the best experience and work out those kinks you really need to communicate to them, so don't be shy! The first time I had Maggie and she worked wonders. It's really hard not to fall asleep on the table. Plus the pregnant insert they use so you can lie on your stomach is perfect. Then came a few days later because my boyfriend had suprised me with a Valentine's Day/Mama package. I got a second prenatal massage done with Beth (I can't remember if that's what she went by) and I just wanted her to be my best friend. Because I was more open about what spots were sore for me she had me lay on my side and really got some nasty knots out, bless her! It was also my first time getting a mani, pedi, and facial. All which were delightful as well. To be honest, it's hard to keep conversations going when these ladies are working with you (most of it is my fault because I am an extremely awkward person), but I've never left the place leaving uncomfortable. I'm huge on customer service and this place deserves the five stars. It's a little intimidating walking in because it's a hit or miss whether the person at the front desk greets you, but once you get the formalities done it's all easy-peasy and you can relax a little more and enjoy the atmosphere. The prices are well worth it, just be sure to tip appropriately (even if you pay ahead of time, you can still tip). Based on other user reviews, I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but I have to say this was one of the best massages I have ever had. Kristie was my massage therapist and I got a 90 minute massage followed by a back scrub. She took the time in the beginning to ask about my problem areas and was very detailed. It was a nice atmosphere and the people were very kind. However, I will say my experience here-as far as how well the job was done, was definitely not sufficient. Like stated before by another reviewer, I hate to give a bad review but, I also think people deserve to know whether a salon is worth it or not. I only got a waxing here but the end product was not what I wanted. I felt like their practices were not up to par in comparison with other waxing salons I've gone to. I made an appointment with the owner one evening for a full legs waxing.(II have had this service done before so I knew what to expect) arrived on time and was met by non esthiticion just a cosmetologist.A full leg waxing consist of removal of hair from toes to hip and inner thigh.Recieved a half hearted attempt and only waxed from ankle to mid thigh!! left wax residue on legs did not use wax removal oil correctly .was told by owner charge would be $55.00 charged $65.00! refunded $30.00 and I requested the tip be refunded as well and it was.The owner was rude as well! cosmetologist lyndsy was not all that great either,needs more training on waxing. read more

Love the atmosphere, great customer service! Had a bridal party spa day and had a room for snacks and mimosas which made it nice while each person waited for our services. Went to Body Perfections in February of 2016. I asked for bangs to be cut into my hair which was essentially all one length. The stylist chopped them in...they did not blend well with the rest of my hair and looked TERRIBLE. I've been growing it out since then. I am afraid to have that happen again and will not be going back for more of the same! Shopping for a good stylist now. read more
