Honestly, Johnathon beats any masseuse I've ever been to. All the spa places I've been to in the past do not live up to what Jonathon has to offer. Spa massages are very superficial they go over the skin and squeeze a little here and there. You tell them to put a little bit more pressure and they do it, but it's overall a superficial massage, here with Jonathon he actually goes over your body movement and asks you where the pain is and he directly targets the muscles that work and are relevant to the pain and he fixes it. It has literally taken me 5 years to find a masseuse as effective and knowledgeable as Jonathan. A former masseuse myself I know when someone is aware of human anatomy or just poking and prodding at random, and this guy is one of the most comprehensive and skilled massage therapists I have ever had work on me. As a new mom to my 5 month old son, I suffered a difficult birth, and due to traveling for my career, reinjured my pelvic and thigh muscles and couldn't bear pressure on my left leg. Jonathan used a combination of physical therapy and massage therapy to properly identify the precise muscle that was injured, and used special (what appeared to be rolfing?) tools and massage techniques to work out the stagnation in the muscle, which was locking my left knee. He also was able to remove the stubborn kink in my neck caused from holding and picking up my son on my left side so I could use my right hand for tasks and daily life (he actually told me that this was WHY my neck was hurting on my left side... he's very intuitive about injuries -- amazing that he knows the culprit of my pain even when I don't!). The icing on the cake for me is that Jonathan distills his own essential oils! They are truly incredible. I bought all of them! I was recommended to see Jonathan by a previous client of his. I have a herniated disc that when it flares up it can cause pain down my right leg. This hasn't been a big issue for the past 3 years and have been able to manage here and there with acupuncture until now. I've also had a surgery (2021) complication that affected my right side and I can tell that it compromised my mobility tremendously. I've been seeing an acupuncturist for a few months now and it has relieved pain but I can tell that it hasn't gotten to the root of the problem until today when I was seen by Jonathan.
