Heritage has been amazing. Managing her meds, being available as much as she needs them. When she was in the hospital they even came to visit and talk with her. I so appreciate all of their help during these very difficult times. And the best part about it... she likes it there. The food is good. The staff is helpful and friendly. This care team is amazing from when you walk into the door and sign in to the activities Director Delight ( yes that's her name as well as her outlook of every activity! and life) Every RN and CNA in the building is on point. It's impossible to list all the names of the wonderful staff because they have created a culture within every team member. The food is excellent from the daily meals prepared, the amazing Holiday meals that the family can enjoy with their loved ones for a small fee. Even having daily popcorn and Sundays free to the residents. The lobby has the feel of a very nice hotel, with a bird cadge filled with cute little finches. Where every detail is designed to make your loved ones feel warm and welcomed. There many activities our loved one really enjoys! We can't say enough great things about the place. We took our loved one from the Hospital directly into a long term care situation. Anna walked us through every aspect of what lay ahead. The cleaning itself was fine--but the front office (specifically the so-called "office manager") is an absolute disaster and completely ruined the experience. Because of the accident, my previous dentist mistakenly billed a cleaning the same night, which caused an insurance mix-up and left a temporary balance on my account. It was already being corrected. A simple, routine fix. Instead of handling it like a competent professional, the office manager chose hostility. Getting an itemized bill--basic, standard practice--was like pulling teeth. She talked over me, came in with attitude from the start, and then told me, "It's your bill, you need to pay it now," followed by threats of sending me to collections. This was after I clearly explained the situation, including that the original office had already reversed the charge. Zero empathy. Zero professionalism. Zero interest in resolving the issue. No acknowledgment of the accident. No willingness to listen. Just aggressive, dismissive behavior. Then it escalated. I had my insurance company initiate a three-way call to clear everything up. She immediately interrupted, started raising her voice, and then hung up mid-conversation saying, "We're done." That is unacceptable. That is unprofessional. That is not how any legitimate office operates. I've worked in the dental field--I understand insurance and billing. This was an easy fix. Instead, it was turned into unnecessary conflict. Bottom line: hostile staff, poor communication, and a complete inability to problem-solve. This office lost a family of three over something that should've taken minutes to resolve. There are far better, more competent dental offices out there. Go somewhere else--somewhere that actually knows how to treat patients like human beings.

My therapist who did the initial consult was great - but this review is about the tricky practices chains like this are known for. I called and explained I needed to start therapy but my insurance would be changing in the next 50 days because I got a new job. They assured me to come in, get an assessment and then we will schedule all follow ups once my insurance changed. Well, I did the assessment, my insurance changed about a month and half later and I called to make follow up appointments. When I did so, they told me the initial assessment was actually only "good" for 30 days and I would need to come in and do another assessment to be able to schedule follow ups. This was never mentioned to me and truly does not make sense. Other than it's a great tactic to bill insurance more (first one cost $200 out of pocket AFTER insurance). If this was told to me I would have just waited til my insurance changed and did the initial appointment and assessment later and not in advance. I'm so disappointed and really bummed as the actual therapist had great reviews and I was so excited to work with her. But because of this practice I won't return.

To the company, be honest about who you'd like to hire.

I spent multiple long shifts there taking notes, helping staff, and being involved in the office workflow. I was even told I could start the next day and was asked about front desk vs. dental assisting. Right after leaving, I received a call saying they suddenly had nothing to offer and instead wanted someone with more experience despite previously saying experience was not required. The issue is not being rejected. The issue is wasting applicants' unpaid time while giving mixed messages about hiring expectations. If you are truly looking for experienced staff only, be upfront about that before having people come in for multiple shadowing shifts.
