If you're looking for a great Hair Salon I highly recommend Hair Forever. All the ladies have this great vibe about them & the salon is spotless & very cute. You need to call for an appointment they don't do walk-ins because they're a busy salon. I recommend Wendy but again everyone is fabulous so you're in excellent hands. Hair prior to appointment, what I requested, and what I got...they said they would cut hair to…read morematch photo but instead cut a lot more than the photo-ended up being about 7 inches of hair total...then I requested hair color in photo they said it might be a little warm based on my previous hair which I said was fine...then when I saw it they could tell I didn't like it and asked if it needed to be warmer-it is not ashy at all even the part that had been untouched by previous coloring. So so disappointed and unflattering on me. I hate being seen in public with this hair that cost over $300.

Because of this recent loss I cannot be trusted to judge another salon accurately, for I am only comparing everything to my previous experiences with my dear, sweet Darcy. (What did I do, Darcy? Pleeease come back to me!) Anyway... This is a beautiful salon, but I can't say I'd recommend it. Perhaps my mistake was not asking to see Tom when I made the appointment, but based on the other reviews I thought he was the only hair stylist there. The woman who cut my hair was perfectly nice, but I felt like she was more interested in selling me products than getting to know my hair. She asked me a few questions, of course, but then she gave me a magazine and hardly said a word. Perhaps she wanted to concentrate- perfectly fine with me as I'm not one for small talk either. However, it seemed like the only times she talked to me was when she shoved one of the products she was using on my hair into my hands. She also tried to sell me color. That's her job. I get it. Then she sliced my ear with her scissors. No big deal- I'm sure this happens from time to time, but what I didn't like was that as soon as she got me a bandage she said she was finished. That left me wondering if she was really done or if she just didn't want to cut me again. I left happy, but in the next few days I noticed some bangs that she'd missed. I also felt like the back was kinda crooked (perhaps because she didn't finish after slicing my ear?) I debated whether to go back for fear of seeming demanding or whiny, but I thought that it would be better to give her a shot to fix it than to just go somewhere else. She said she fixed the bangs- I know she trimmed them- but again I'm finding stragglers! I was charged $8 (to fix a cut I'd paid $60 for!?!) On the way out she asked me again if I was going to come see her for color. I sheepishly said that I couldn't afford it (she didn't give me a quote but based on the cut I'm sure it would be more than I'm willing to pay) and walked out feeling like a dog with my tail between my legs. So the search continues. Disappointing, really. Perhaps if I had more money and time I would enjoy coming here and kicking back in the posh surroundings. I guess I just need something more practical at this point in my life!

Second cut was better, however, I have been scheduled and rescheduled and rescheduled. My original stylist left, and I was put with someone else, then canceled and put with another stylist, got my hair cut, was ok, then this stylist was no longer there so I was put with another and this cut was just way below average, and the price had increased without any advance notice. I don't know why they have so much turnover, prior to coming here, I had the same hairstylist for years and years until she sadly moved away. I need to find a new place as these haircuts have been mid at best and they can't seem to keep their stylists.

However when it can time for me to wash my own hair at home I had breakage in my hairline mind you I have very curly hair I noticed my curls did not bounce back. i reached out to speak with Evelyn regarding my concerns and I have yet to hear back. i don't know what this lady mixed in the conditioner that stripped my curls I'm still experiencing hair loss. Vibe they speak about jesus but doing shaddy stuff in there products.
