I went here on my birthday, a gift from the husband... Staff was very nice and helpful...BUT the massage was just OK. I went for a hot stone massage, and it was not what I expected. I was thinking they would be using real hot stones (it was my first one) but they just massaged me with some electric hand attachments that was supposed to mimic hot stones. I could have just gotten a regular swedish massage for a lower price and would have liked it. Totally NOT what I expected from a hot stone massage, DO NOT GO HERE FOR THOSE! So my massage was not up to par, and the facility is just not high end, or anything like that. HOWEVER for it's price point. (when using a GROUPON) it was pretty great if you can't afford a more experienced massage therapist. My massage was pretty good. The time was quick, and there is no hydrotherapy or anything like that. If you are looking for a place for a decent price, I'd recommend coming here. I not only had a great pampering experience, I was very pleasantly surprised that they have robes big enough for plus-size women! I ordered a spa package that included a Swedish massage (heaven!), a nap (seriously needed after the massage because I was so relaxed), a scalp massage with mint oils (omg!) and a pampering foot soak while indulging in delicious snacks. I even spent time in their sauna. They treated me like royalty rather than just politely. Now here's why they get 5 solid stars (and would get one more if I could): the larger robes! I'm a size 24 and there was room for more body! Most hotels and spas I've been to don't have robes that fit plus-sized women. It makes one feel second class. I accidentally bought a Groupon twice over a few years. I made my appointment on 11/12 for 11/16. They had my info and confirmed. Then ONE HOUR before my appointment they called me to say I wasn't allowed to buy the 2nd groupon (not sure why they are turning away budiness). They cancelled my appointment at the last second with an offer to use it as credit for service at 2-3 times the price. Why would I go someplace that was so inconsiderate that they would cancel one hour before my appointment. No thanks,every other massage place in town would be happy to have the prepaid business. I read Yelp reviews regularly but rarely write them. Body Spa is a great find, a small but cozy and tranquil spa with great people and exceptional service. The people are very friendly and Rachael the receptionist is a gem. The service rooms are very comfortable and relaxing and can accomodate couples massage. I have had facials and massages, all wonderful, never a mediocre service. My last two massages were with Charice and Tenney, and both were exceptional. I have had 2 massages at this location over the past two years. The outside is unimpressive, but the interior is very relaxing! (There is a outer set of stairs on the north end of the building that leads directly to the spa). Charice gave me an excellent Swedish massage. Seriously, I can't think of a thing I would change. I had a massage with Courtney and really appreciated her approach to the deep tissue massage. We talked about what I wanted (since this was my first visit), which was for her to work on my neck/back first, which is usually the most tense, and stay there if she felt like I needed it. I hate when the massage therapist does the 10 minute back, 10 minutes each arm, 10 minutes each leg ... etc., without actually paying attention to the spots that need more attention. From the moment you walk in there is a lovely, calm feeling and I saw the spa carries Eminence, one of my favorite skin care lines! My facial was with Raquel, who was both knowledgeable and friendly! She gave me different ideas and suggestions for at home care, and really made me feel like I was in capable hands. By far one of the best facials I have ever received! And the tea and snack afterwards is such a thoughtful touch, it really made me know this is a location where I am valued, even if this was my first appointment. I came to see Sonya after some inconsistencies at another Spa w/ regards to my lash extensions & their staffing. Sonya is incredible! She's consistent, warm, friendly & I love that I can easily visit with her while she makes my lashes & brows look fab! I have been going to Sonya for about 6 months now...I've tried a massage-it was ok, maybe I'll try a hot stone or deep tissue next time and I want to try one of her wraps soon too. I love being able to use the sauna before my appointments as well. Really disappointed with my European facial. The reason I will pay for a facial is for professionally done extractions, a facial steam, and learning more about my skin. Here they didnt not steam my face in any way, they used a newer device called a "ultrasonic skin spatula" which is shown to not be an ineffective way to clear stubborn pores. I didnt know anything about this tool, but once I looked at my face after the facial I was very disappointed in the results - no difference. I wont be coming back for a $80 facial. read more

I came here for a 60 minute massage with Wendy. The spa is on the 2nd floor of a business complex, but dont let the outside exterior fool you... everything is decorated beautifully inside. All I can say is WOW! Bought the three European facials for $109 from Groupon, and it was worth every penny. The spa is cozy and comfortable, and the staff is incredibly personable. Cherise is very knowledgeable when it comes to facials, explaining everything that she is using on your face and answering any questions. Everything they use is European organic, smells amazing, and feels great on your skin (no harsh chemicals). Afterwards, you have a personal sauna session with a snack and tea of your choice. When I walked in everyone was extremely accommodating and nice, greeted me and offered me something to drink while I waited (which wasn't long at all, she got me right after I filled out the forms) I didn't feel awkward at all like I do when I walk into spa's usually. I visited Body Spa for the first time and I am very happy with my experience! I went with a couple friends, and we were greeted as soon as we walked in, and offered hot tea or water. The waiting area is small but comfortable (would have been nice if there was reading material, but I didn't see any). Rachel at the front desk was extremely friendly and chatted with us while we waited, and told us about a text opt-in for specials (text "bodyspa" to 71441). I went for the hour-long aromatherapy massage, which was reasonably priced at $65.00. My masseuse was Tenney and she was AMAZING. She was professional and friendly, checked in with me on the pressure, and did a wonderful job! After I got dressed, she had water and a chocolate for me. I also had the add-on peppermint scalp conditioner for $10, which, in my opinion was not worth the investment. The mini scalp massage was nice, and the hot towel at the end felt good as well, but I left the spa with crunchy hair that looked very greasy. If you opt for this add-on, plan to go straight home after! I was tempted to use the shower in the bathroom, and there was a robe on the inside of the door, but I wasn't sure if it was available for everyone's use, or just those who were visiting the sauna... Overall, I left feeling like I got my money worth and received great customer service from everyone I interacted with. My only suggestions for improvement would be to somehow alleviate the noise from the bathroom - the toilet was very loud, and since I was in the room right next to the bathroom, it was quite disruptive. It would also be nice if the website was current/updated; I was charged $65 for my massage, but the website shows $60. read more
