I met with Joanne for a nutritional consultation 6 weeks ago because I am getting married in June and want to look my absolute best in my wedding dress. Joanne began the session by computing my resting metabolic rate, which establishes how many calories I can consume before I begin gaining weight, and how many calories I am burning throughout the day. After receiving my results, I finally realized WHY I couldn't lose the last few pounds. The depth of the information Joanne provided me with helped me to understand how the body works, why I am ravenous at certain times of the day, and how to correct all of this to achieve the results I am looking for. After the session, Joanne emailed me ALL of the information she went over with me in person , including recipes that have the exact micro/macronutrients I should have with each meal, and she gave me two dvd's that cover all of the information she explained during our meeting. Alexa literally went to school for nutrition and is employed full time in the industry as well so she really knows her stuff. I turned to Alexa after my body didn't react well to a new medication. The group works hard and supports each other - determined but easygoing. No upselling. Not a meat market, bro-y, or cult-y environment. Equipment is new and gym is very clean. Balance of women and men. The owner and manager genuinely care, and constantly work to improve the gym and your experience.
