Okay so quick and sweet, Victoria is amazing. She asked all the right questions and got to work! I got a 60 minute cupping/massage session and she used all 60 minutes to work on me which I really appreciate as some people use up your time doing who-knows-what. I went to Victoria with right shoulder pain - I couldn't place my right hand on my left shoulder and my range of motion was limited when I went swimming. Victoria is very knowledgeable and asked all kinds of questions about past injuries and accidents, sports that I played growing up, work habits, driving habits, etc... She used a combination of deep tissue massage, cupping therapy and radiant energy treatment. By the time I left the first session, I could place my right hand on my left shoulder with very minimal pain. After the 2nd session, I could place my right hand on the back of my neck! Two sessions!! Today was the first time in almost five years that my neck and shoulder didn't hurt and my headaches completely went away. My Dad went to Victoria a few weeks ago and he hasn't been able to walk up steps in years due to so much scar tissue from his knee replacement. He raves about Victoria, so I made an apt today. Hands down the BEST massage I've ever had. I came in with some severe left shoulder pain and decreased rotation that I've had for weeks. Victoria questioned me very well to better understand my issue, and then she started. Omgosh, her arms and hands are FANTASTIC! She is my massage soul mate. I did a 90 min, and have scheduled another session right away, because my pain and rotation was much better. NOT 100% because I beat my body up and have for years, and so I must do better self-care. As someone who trains almost everyday in some form or another (functional fitness, compound movements/oly lifts, strength and conditioning, boxing, active recovery) my body is almost constantly sore, especially my back and legs. After undergoing consistent chiropractor adjustments and average massage therapists, I found that it was temporary relief that lasted a day at best. It didn't help me heal/recover as much as I needed, with uneasy restless achy days and nights. That is, until I met Victoria... She is so far beyond what I expected from a typical therapist. Very nice, generous with sharing info/knowledge and professional. Her methods are unconventional but not unheard of. Sure, she beats me up with her crazy cups and metallic torture scraping tools, but she is the only one that has given me results for my specific situation. You can tell she knows about solving specific athletic pain issues and knows her musculature. Typical therapy didn't help me get back in the game the way she has. Not sure if it's related, but my PR's have steadily increased and there's a difference in my athletic stamina since implementing the proper and consistent recovery regimen with Victoria. I've gone to Victoria twice now for incredibly tense shoulders and neck pain. I'm a student and employee so most of my day is spent craning my neck either studying or working at a desk. She's super easy going and incredibly knowledgeable about what she's doing.
