You spend a few minutes 3-5 minutes in the cold plunge and then about 10-15 minutes in the sauna. I literally felt pins and needles throughout my body immediately, but it felt even better getting out and going into the sauna. I only lasted about 40 seconds lol but plan to continue adding on more time once I'm used to it and mentally prepared. It's a great way to bond, recover, and relax. It's definitely a VIBE! We plan to continue coming back as we both felt so refreshed and rejuvenated.

It was nice there was a call right after I got scheduled to make sure I knew I was doing and if I've ever been to Perspire before. They made sure to go over everything in detail. Parking shouldn't be an issue as it's in a little corner of the plaza. I actually liked it a lot more than Perspire since there is a small and large size Sauna. I like that it did get hotter than Perspire and did a little bit of cardio on the bike before hand to help increase the efficiency of the Sauna. Infrared is outside and you stand there 5 mins facing both sides. Pretty easy to use. There are goggles if you need but he explained to me it's healthy for you if you close your eyes and face it as well. It's not too too bright. I got the body scrub and massage for $135 since it includes admission, which is normally $40. Prior to the service, they recommend you soak in the hot pool for approximately 20-30 minutes. The facility is separated with a women's and men's area, and once you enter, you pay for your admission or service, put your things into the locker, strip naked, and head to the shower area where you are required to shower before you do anything. For just the admission alone, you get access to a variety of saunas, hot and cold pools, a steam room, and a common area with heated floors for relaxation. You get a time limit of 6 hours, which is way more than enough. At my appointment time, the workers, who are dressed in black bras and panties, call out your number (which is also your locker key number) and you head to the service area. The woman scrubbed off my dead skin for 30 minutes while applying a quick 5 minute facial mask, then had me shower off and come back. Next, she applied oil all over my body and gave me a mini massage which basically just loosened a few of my knots in my shoulder and back area. It was not really relaxing, but I only care about the results. :) Then she poured some type of warm milk all over my body, and poured some into my hand to wash my face with. She also shampooed my hair at the end... and I was asked to shower off my body again. I then headed to the common area where the co-ed saunas were and tried out the Salt room, the Forest room, Ondol room, Fire Room, and Ice Room for a short period. I spent a total of about 3 hours there with the service time included. Since I was short on time, I will get another service in the future, but come earlier to use the sauna rooms first, maybe try out their on-site restaurant, then get my service at the end and go home from there. I really enjoyed this day of pampering at the Korean spa. I just wished the guests weren't all on their phones and being loud. People were having full on conversations in the common area and whispering loudly in the sauna rooms. I used the sauna for a large portion of my life. I love the heat. I got sick and tired of having to do the communal sauna including the one at the globo gyms. Those are gross. I have had everything happen to me in those saunas. This place is different. Here is what I do... Daily: 5AM- 1 hour Strength Cross Training; 0620- 1 to 2 mile cold ocean swim with no wet suit; and 0730- Come here and reap the huge benefits of the infrared, heat, goodness. I figured out to put the channel with the ocean waves and wave music. Then I jump in the Saune at 160 F. It takes me about 2 minutes to knock out.
