I know TDM docs often look at the tongue, so I didn't think this was strange at all! Based on the photo, she sent me two packets of herbs; one preventative, the other in case of fever. I haven't had a fever in at least 10 yrs. Well, I got a fever and sore throat mid July... I immediately took the "fever" herbs and of course did other sensible things like rest, plenty of fluids, chicken soup,... The sore throat went away within hours, the fever was gone in a day and a half and other than feeling tired for a few days, I didn't have any other symptoms. I don't know what it was, but I'm getting another batch of the herbs. Did I mention I haven't had a fever in 10 yrs... They are not cheap, but truthfully, my health is worth it. If you are new to massage, you might want to choose a lighter massage option as the pressure can be very intense and sometimes painful if you're not used to it. Misa was quiet during the massage which I appreciated, and she did check in twice about the pressure. She use hot towels to clean off the oil used for a massage after which I appreciated. They also set a timer for the massage so that you know you're getting your full time. This is a new massage parlor, opened about six months ago. The inside is absolutely gorgeous. Everything is spotless and the rooms are decorated impeccably. The bathroom was large and clean. They even provide free beverages. Prices were very reasonable at $75 for a one hour massage. You can purchase gift cards, but must do so in person. It would be nice if they made an online option. It was easy to book appointments, and they were flexible about changing to individual rooms versus a couples room. You can even have three people in a room, apparently. If you book more than two appointments at once, they do ask for a $60 deposit. I highly recommend this massage salon!

The massage is pricey, all the masseuses have certifications are all nice and professional, "great technique", yet none of them touched my muscles when getting a deep tissue massage. Lots of rubbing and sliding but felt like a sweedish massage. Asking for more pressure did not help. Each time they told me after I should stretch and take salt baths. If stretching and salt baths could fix my pain and tightness I wouldn't be looking for a masseuse.
