The initial session was for shoulder pain, I think I strained my neck/shoulder or something. After two adjustments, the pain was gone. This time, I waited too long to be seen. My mistake. I thought I pulled a muscle in my lower back and it would go away with stretches or something. It didn't! Not entirely sure what happened, but I felt this intense pain when I was getting up from a sitting position after a long flight. When I would take deep breaths, I would feel pain. Bending down to tie my shoes, I was in pain. When I slept I was in pain. I knew I did not want to be on pain medication if I could some how fix my body through another approach. After consulting with my PCP, he recommended me to see a chiropractor. I knew EXACTLY who to reach out to, Dr. Mizzer. Before treatment, you may need an x-ray, Dr. Mizzer recommended a radiology clinic not far from his office. They are as wonderful as Dr. Mizzer. Turns out, I have spinal compression. Dr. Mizzer, went over the course of treatment and I just completed session 4. I feel amazing, compared to a month ago. A month ago, I could barely stand up from a sitting position. I am confident that a few more sessions, and I'll be back to normal. I highly recommend Dr. Mizzer if you are in need of a chiropractor. He is kind and listens to my concerns and adjusts the treatment plan as needed. Just do not wait to seek treatment! I would also like to address another Yelper's review. Joseph P.'s complaint is about not being able to reach Dr. Mizzer on numerous occasions. I did not run into that issue at all. I am not certain, but I believe these ladies are virtual receptionist that many doctor offices use. They do not work at the office but instead they take your message and it is forwarded to the doctor. My PCP uses a similar service. How I contacted Dr. Mizzer initially was through his website, by clicking on Contact Us (http://wellnessjoint.org/). I am actually confused to why Joseph would venture to the website but not think of using the Contact Us feature to reach out to the business. Please do not let that review shed negative light on Dr. Mizzer's practice.
