Uhhh so... I have been a big, big, HUGE proponent of Styles of India (SOI). Ever since I went and fell in love, I thought it was worth every dime. I paid the $30-something annual fee and got the discount on my brows and mustache grooming. Hot wax has never touched my face since. I had no idea that the place inside the mall was cheaper. With a membership at SOI, my brow/lip combo go for $14. Inside the mall, $12. WITHOUT the annual membership. I'll be hitting this place up when I'm in the NRH area (sincerest apologies to my threaders at SOI). Couple caveats though: * The chick was slower. I had to wait, like 30 minutes for her to do two people in front of me. I've maybe had to wait at SOI three times, and each time the appropriate unit of measurement was seconds. . * You are going to have the highly personal act of removing your unwanted hair done in public, right in front of all the mall-rats to see. I think that this place has s storefront, but my friend said the "good chick" was out in the mall byway that day. read more

Been here a couple of times for highlights and a cut now and am nothing less then very pleased with Sid's work. He goes above and beyond to put his years of knowledge and expertise into practice to fine tune the look you're going for. He's good at figuring out exactly what you want and filling in any gaps of where uncertainty even lie. And aside from that his personality is amazing and he's a blast to talk to for a few hours while getting your hair done :D It's always scary trying someone new for hair.. DON'T BUY THE GROUPON AND SKIP THIS PLACE. GO TO A LEGIT LASH STUDIO, WHERE YOU WILL GET GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE INSTEAD. These ladies are rude and do not take the time to do your eye lash extensions well. We were in the middle of an appointment, my sister and I, and the staff member tending to us tells another customer to come back in 30 minutes. My thought, you're going to be done with my and my sister's eyelash extensions in 30 minute time only? That's when I realized we were mislead with the Groupon they had out. They do the cluster extensions that don't last long and are of poor quality. The only legit thing, is that they use an industrial glue. BUT despite this, we had eye lash clusters needing to be re-glued in less than a week's time. Prior to our visit, we tried to make an appointment 2 weeks out and were told we should call the week of for an appointment. We do this and the day of our appointment, two people call us trying to get us to re-schedule. I informed them that I did as they advised and that we couldn't reschedule due to my sister coming in from out of town. They were trying to schedule another appointment when ours was because the others were getting eye brow tinting done; a "more expensive service." We should've realized that showed their mentality. They were also impatient when we were deciding on the type of extensions we wanted. I sat down in the chair and without any context she asks me which ones I want. I asked her if I could see the options she had and she rolled her eyes and signed in frustration... Really? Then she said she wanted to make sure I didn't change my mind and proceeded to show me pictures on her phone of past clients. I couldn't tell the difference between any of the pictures; all lashes looked the same. So I just went with the longest option. read more

It's not this place is bad. It's okay if you're really desperate. My normal place is in Dallas and more than double the amount at this place but I guess you pay for the talent. The first time I got my brows threaded they hurt like a....but they turned out good. The next few times they just hurt and only one eyebrow looks good. I would tell them what I want and they just kind of disregard it. The only reason I'll tell them it looks good so I can get the heck out of there because the pain is unbelievable. But pricing is pretty cheap so there's that. read more

Though the staff was friendly and able to make an appointment quickly, my experience with quality was sadly a big let down, and cost me some of my eyelashes. I used a Groupon to get a full set of lashes here. Though they looked nice to begin with, as the day went on the begin to get more and more uncomfortable to the point I couldn't wear them any longer. I realized soon after that the sheer amount of glue that had been caked only my lashes (and eyelid) were the reason for my discomfort. They were caked at least halfway up my lash. Definitely not the quality I was hoping for. read more

The place is clean and fairly fast. I have been going here since it had a kiosk and was called Styles of India. The ladies that actually tread the eyebrows are really nice, but the girl that checks you in and some other woman that may be a manager are always chit chatting about personal stuff and it makes the customers feel ignored. I have been there several times and they have never been friendly. Also, always on their phone. The prices are fair, to be inside the mall. Not a fan of them always trying to sell you random stuff, but I guess that is how they make their money, so whatever.... I stopped going as often as I used to because I am not a fan of sitting forever until they decide to acknowledge your existence, so I have been waxing my eyebrows at my nail salon for the last few weeks. read more

First they were late for the appointment, as in closed and waiting in front of the Belt Line location. Second, they would not honor the services my appointment were for since the technician was on vacation. I made my appointment 8 days prior. Why no one thought to call and save me a 45 minute drive is completely disrespectful and unprofessional. The gal in the front was extremely rude and offered no compensation other than oh well. With the whole encounter not sitting well with me so I called and asked to speak to or at least get the name of the manager. Girl who answered the phone, sounded like the same person, was rude again, refused to give me the name of management and hung up on me! Complete and utter waste of time and money. I love to get my brows threaded and when I'm at Northeast mall, I'll stop by and let them hook me up. They do have a shop in the mall but it's off in one of those little nooks on the side (if you don't know exactly where it is, you'll miss it) BUT they do have a booth set up in the corridors of the mall and aside from everybody passing by watching you get your brows worked on, it's cool with me. Horrible experience! Rahjana made my eyebrows very thin and one shorter than the other! She took to much hair from front of my left eyebrow and when I complain she said she will shorter the other one(?!) Ridiculous, I was devastated as I have worked hard to get my eyebrow to look full and naturally arched. I can't imagine worst experience. Now I have to grow my eyebrows back which will take months... Made an 11a.m. eyelash appointment. Get there about 10:30a because I knew I needed to be on the road about 12/12:30p to go out of town. I was told the lady who handles eyelashes is running late and wouldn't make it until 1130a. Well I was a first time customer and the professionalism just wasn't there at all. I will never return. And wouldn't recommend anyone due to the fact that they didn't even try to rectify the situation. read more

My friend really wanted me to try this new salon she had discovered, even though it was way across town for me. When I was there visiting, we decided to make dual appointments and make a day of beauty and shopping. I was very impressed. The stylists did a good job, but I was most taken with the Aveda products. Of course I've heard of them forever, but just had never tried them. I bought several of them, but my absolute favorite is the Hair Thickener Tonic. Remarkable stuff! I have fine hair and this makes it look and feel thick, plus holds my style for a couple of days. Expensive, but worth it. read more

I went in to get eyelash extensions because I had found a coupon on Groupon for $20. Cheap, so I had to go for it. Let me tell you, you get what you pay for. Normally when you go somewhere for eyelash extensions you get to choose your material, and they place them 1 by 1 on each individual lash. Given this is a long process, it's worth it because they last up to 8 weeks and feel natural. At Boeau Belle, they use cluster lashes, which you can it at Walmart for $6... and basically apply them damn near like a strip of falsies. And that's what it feels like. They also last only 2 weeks. This isn't why I only gave 2 stars though... the 2 stars are because they could have at least put in their website that they were cluster lashes and that they will only last 2 weeks... also, she did mine uneven. So that was highly upsetting. I look quite funky with very uneven lashes, it honestly looks like I tried to drunkenly out on a set of falsies. Not too great. Had the lady put them on more evenly, they wouldn't look half bad. But still not as great as what eyelash extensions should be. read more

These ladies always do a great job on my eyebrows; HOWEVER, the customer service here stinks. There has been an issue of some sort every time I've visited them. They have a kiosk in the mall as well as a salon. Twice my daughters and I have visited the kiosk where a threader is available and then we were directed to go to the salon. Both times we ended up sitting and waiting in the salon when the ladies at the kiosk could have taken care of us immediately. Once a lady refused to do my daughter's eyebrows. She took another customer who had arrived after us. We had to wait for another threader. I should have walked away, but apparently I'm a glutton for punishment. During my last experience I came to the salon with a Groupon. A threader was available, but she told me she couldn't redeem the Groupon and that I would have to wait 15 minutes for the receptionist to return from break to use it. So I sat there waiting for 15 minutes even though a threader was ready and available because she didn't know how to redeem a Groupon??! That will be my last visit to that place. read more

I will not be returning here for any type of service in the future! I came in for an eyebrow threading and was charged $11, Brooklyn Rushing swiped my card and added a $11 tip which made the total $22; She didn't know how to fix the issue but wanted me to sign the receipt, I'm not signing anything, I can't stand businesses that are so quick to take your money but take forever to refund it, customer service is not the best at this location, they don't know anything about making it seamless for the customer! read more

The hair stylist in Boeau Belle Salon screwed up my husband's hair! She does not know how to cut hair that tailored to the customer's style. I wandered how she was hired as professional hair stylist in this Salon. I will NEVER recommend this place for any hair style services. You are wasting your time and money and ending up frustrated for the hair service they offer. read more
