The alignment was done incorrectly resulting in drivers side tire prematurely wearing on inner tread, had it back to shop to fix alignment issue and a tire rotation. By 2:30 pm I had not heard from them, and decided to call. The person I spoke with said that they had not gotten to it, and he would pull it in for repair as soon as I got off the phone. Great news. When I picked up vehicle, they tried charging me for realignment, but I corrected the associate who was checking me out. I asked if I owed for the tire rotation, he said that was included so no charge. Great. After I got it home, I noticed the tires were never rotated. So now I am going to take vehicle to different shop to have alignment checked, and tires rotated, since I do not trust they did a proper job again. Never going back.

The rental company wanted to charge me for a tow and a full tire replacement, talk about stressful! It was a Saturday and most shops were either closed or too far away. I found Rick's Car Care on Yelp and saw they were listed as open until noon. When I arrived, there was a sign on the door saying they were actually closed on Saturdays. I decided to knock anyway, and I'm so glad I did! To my surprise, a gentleman named Jimmi answered the door. After I explained the situation, he graciously offered to take a look at my tire, despite being closed for the day. He quickly assessed the damage and was able to fix it with a simple plug. Not only did Jimmi go out of his way to help me, but he also treated me fairly and didn't try to overcharge me just because I was from out of town. The whole repair was fast, VERY affordable, and I was back on the road in under 10 minutes. Jimmi was an absolute lifesaver! His kindness and willingness to help a stranger truly made my day. When I went to pick up my car, I was told a different final price and he said it was due to taxes. Even factoring in the sales tax, the final total was $20 over what it should have been. When asked about it, she stated "I don't need to do anything I don't want to." She then proceeded to get into OUR car WITHOUT a mask and do the emissions inspection. When confronted again about not wearing a mask when in an enclosed space in OUR personal car, the response was "I don't need to do anything I don't want to; the virus isn't airborne anyways." Obviously, that is factually incorrect, but I don't believe the owner cares. IF this business wants to conduct themselves in this manner, they should announce publicly "we don't respect you and will not wear masks". They are endangering the health, safety, wellbeing, and lives of others with these reckless actions - had we known this was their policy,, we would have taken our business elsewhere. Those that agree with the owners principles could still frequent the business, but those of us that believe the science should not be subjected to their ignorance. The state should also NOT be driving business (as an "approved" vehicle emissions inspection facility) to a facility that is FLOUTING the state's own mask mandate.

The place I used last year - no longer does it, the place I used the year before - no longer does it. I had to search & make a few phone calls before I found a place. Quick and efficient, the state does not seem to pay facilities to do these emissions testing enough for them to continue from year to year. It pretty much brings folks to establishments, which in turn, brings awareness of the business. My vehicle is not that old, still under warranty. I would love to support this shop, once I don't have warranty coverage. Next time I need emissions they probably won't be doing it. Our state needs to support the effort better.

I would like to give everybody here a warning about dealing with Gesells Automotive…read more My parents brought a 2006 Buick Lucerne into them for a small antifreeze leak and a power steering leak... This turned into a 4,800 bill. They ended up tearing the engine apart finding it needed timing chains and a bunch of other things. They put the engine back together set the timing wrong, and then tried to blame it on a "sensor that was too sensitive" And it was perfectly fine and not to worry about it I called them out on this they took the vehicle back and then had it for 4 months... 6 months total it took them to finally get the vehicle working. They then tried to blame a gear on the camshaft, It was fine It was eventually taken to a GM dealer which they paid for after threatening them with legal action they set the time incorrectly My mom finally gets her car back, The suspension light is on they broke off the suspension sensors when they lifted it up... Under no circumstances should you deal with them, they are completely 100% incompetent, The owner doesn't give a shit he had my parents vehicle for 6 months and kept on making excuses until legal action was threatened. As of right now it's still not right it needs an alignment and The broken suspension sensors replaced. The fact he let the car go like this shows he doesn't care. Do not use them You will regret it

I took my car into them because my check engine light was on and my backyard mechanic couldn't figure it out! That was nothing major, it was my gas cap, but doing a few of their simple double checks before they release your car back to you, the crew found a major problem with my gas sensor. They fixed that along with a few loose nuts or bolts ( I'm not sure which) what I do know is I had someone force me off the road the other day and if it wasn't for them taking the time to check my car over, I don't think Dee and I would be here today!
