I did some research and found Salcedo Family Care and the pricing is very reasonable! I was even able to contact Dr. Salcedo prior to making an appointment to explain my situation and he was very friendly, giving me the options to get labs done now and then recheck in a few weeks or to restart my previous dose of thyroid medication and then check labs in a few weeks to make sure the dose is still correct. Most physicians I know wouldn't give the patient that option but, by doing so, I'm saving money and not having to have to pay for multiple labwork. My appointment lasted about an hour- he asked about all aspects of my life, did the vital signs himself, obtained a complete health history and was overall very thorough. Even though my main visit reason was to get back on my thyroid medications- he made sure to ask about my general health and to see if I needed anything else. I felt heard, not rushed, and like an actual person instead of just a diagnosis in a long line of patients. Using the lab he is partnered with also makes my lab work a fraction of the cost of what it was when I HAD insurance! I was able to schedule appointment online and was able to be seen right away- no waiting, no phone calls and holding while they look for an appointment- overall, just an amazing experience. Should've been a level one because I went for a sinus infection. Because the doctor asked me a question about my anxiety the office visit became a level two. Since when can you not chat a little bit with your doctor about other issues if you've been a patient for 30 years. Now they treat you like a cash cow and up charge you. And then the latest visit I was sent for an ex ray and no one has the decency to call back with the results. I did get a notice that my results were available online. I guess I'm old school and I do expect a phone call. The x-ray wound up costing me $275 because they sent me to an out of network x-ray lab, even though when I was there, they said I was in network. This office is causing me to losing faith in the medical community and questioning their transparency.

Got the appointment, days go by, and then we get a voice mail today saying the appointment has been canceled. Ok...Called to find out why that would be. Apparently, they scheduled him with a PA that isn't taking "new patients." You'd think they'd have known that at the time I made the appointment originally since they basically assigned him to that PA themselves, but again, whatever I just needed the appointment for him, so I politely asked when the next available appointment, with anyone that is taking "new" patients, would be. I was presented with three choices. 1.) A time that we could make work. 2.) A time he already has another Dr. appointment with a specialist that can't be rescheduled. Or 3.) One that was multiple weeks in the future. (The whole reason we needed this was a at the behest of that other specialist doctor he's already seeing, and it needed to be within two weeks, before his next appointment with them was occurring.) I took the day that would work for us of course, and in the time it took me to say the words "we'll take the 11:15 please" I was then told that slot had already been taken by someone else. Are you kidding me?!? This sounded like compete BS to me, and I was already very stressed out at this point. The other appointments were of course non-starters, so I'm done with this place. They were rude, inconsiderate, and unhelpful. The trifecta of "DO NOT GO HERE." So, if you want to get appointments pulled from you at last minute (canceled Friday, for a Monday appt), and then not helped to rectify that in any way, this is your place. If you don't want to get jerked around, I would implore you to find somewhere else.

I was told to get initial lab work done which I did. I communicated via the app that Euphora uses the date of the labs, but they still asked me to complete the labs even after I got them done. I found that a little weird, but no big deal. When it was time for the first appointment, I showed up a few minutes early and a sign on the door told me to please knock or call. I did both multiple times, and no one came to the door. Eventually another patient just walked into the waiting room, so I followed. I had waited 13 mins and no one was at the front desk. The other patient yelled "hello?" and someone finally came to the desk to help. I found it odd there was a waiting room yet we were told to wait outside the office--there weren't even any chairs or anything to sit in. The person who took my vitals didn't introduce themselves. Dr. C came in promptly, and while she was great, she provided a very, very rushed physical. The appointment literally took maybe 4 or 5 mins. As the appointment was ending, I asked what ever happened to my bloodwork and she said they still didn't have it but she would check (I had the labs done 2 weeks prior!). As I was leaving and getting into my car, Dr. C called and said they did, in fact, have the bloodwork and went over everything with me. While I liked Dr. C overall, between no one being at the front desk at the time of appointments and a super rushed first visit, it was a kinda crummy first impression, enough to make me cancel. I hope that Euphora Health can have attentive staff and remember how important first impressions are to patients! I will be looking into other DPC options in the area moving forward.

Came here specifically for TRT (testosterone therapy) monitoring and had a concerning experience…read morewith Dr. Geoffrey Hughes. At a visit meant to review abnormal labs (elevated testosterone, estradiol, and hematocrit) and address a promised phlebotomy, Dr. Hughes walked in with a nurse he was training, made a cross/blessing gesture over me (like the sign of the cross -- "in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit") instead of using a stethoscope or checking my vitals, said "you're alive, see you next week," and left -- all in under 10 seconds. All the while his nurse in training was laughing. No exam, no discussion of my labs, no plan. The phlebotomy that had been promised for that visit never happened. I had sent an initial email with my concerns about the high levels of hematocrit, testosterone, and estradiol. Dr. Hugh said that he would do a lobotomy to remove blood And he would prescribe something for the estradiol level. That never happened, and instead I had that bad experience I just explained. Immediately after the visit, I emailed him to say that we never discussed those things, and I never received a response from him. At my first visit with him, he also spent time on unsolicited political commentary about the president rather than addressing my health concerns, which felt out of place in a medical appointment. If you're looking for TRT care, I'd recommend a provider who treats hormone monitoring -- especially hematocrit, which carries real clotting risk if unmanaged -- with real attention. I switched to a urologist who specializes in Low T and it's been a completely different level of care. Looking at other reviews, there has been complaints about Dr. Hughes here, so it looks like Total Men's Primary Care does not concern themselves with the professionalism of their doctors. Go ahead and avoid this place. It may be convenient, but it's not safe for you.
