This space is bare and ready for a designer or wedding planner to come in and work their magic. I'd high recommend hugging a professional to design and customize the space as you are only renting only the venue and have to bring in everything else (furniture, decor, food, serving staff, etc.) to go in it. The place has two bathrooms, a couple different levels with stairs, a terrace with a beautiful view of the Hudson River and a back area with a couple refrigerators and plenty of space where you can store everything that shouldn't be seen by guests. There is a spot in a corner up some stairs where you can have dejay set up or you can connect your own decide to play music through Sonos. Every window you look out of provides a spectacular view of the vast city or the water. It's on the top floor of the building in the penthouse that has a guard on the first floor and two elevators. People actually inhabit the lower floors. The current Ramscale studio director Madeline is a joy to work with in that she's timely in her email responses and very helpful all the way around in answering any questions that come up.

We hosted a launch event for a client here, and at first glimpse were kind of in awe of and surprised by the unique quality of the site and weren't sure it was what we wanted (since we booked it sight unseen.) We worked with the venue manager Rocky (the best,) to make it our own through A/V set ups, moving furniture and all of the visual fixins provided by our event company Events By Dano (see review,) and it really ended up being a fantastic place to work with. No stuffy ballroom, no crappy, dirty, overdone nightclub space; Ramscale provides you with something different and unique. Pros: - great space with great stories and history and a one-of-a-kind view of the Village and the Hudson - amazing management by Rocky; available for anything, ready for anything and gives the best tips on good food you can order in during your event set-up. Flexible, accommodating, laid-back and friendly but professional. - the place is completely white, so it serves as a blank canvas to bring in whatever colors you need whether for a corporate event or for a wedding or other special event. Cons: - It's a few blocks from the 2 closest subway stops and it's nearly impossible to catch a cab on the West Side Hwy following. Bottom line? Not the most convenient of places as compared to a venue in Midtown. - It can be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

We were located in a private room where the staff served the appetizer course on foot. The meal itself was incredible. I had a cut of steak that was the best I've ever had. The beer selection of lacking, but it's not a place you go for beer. Their liquor collection on the other hand was massive. The whiskey menu was also very thorough and satisfying. All in all, this place was amazing. I got a chance to look at an actual menu (our dinner was prix fix) and it was just mouthwatering. I would go back again...if I could afford it. EDIT: This weekend I received sad news that Bayard's is now closed. The chef left and the restaurant went under. Harry's Steak House downstairs is still open and I guess Bayard's itself is still open for private parties, but the restaurant is gone. Boo!

Yes, one can book 26 Bridge for their wedding, parties, anniversaries and all types of other celebratory functions. We came here on 2/2/19 to attend La Tablee NY Tasting (thanks for the tickets!). As we pulled up in front of the place we were kindly greeted by a gentleman at the front door. The La Tablee NY Tasting is a celebration of over 100 wines of the Rhone Valley (Northen + Southern France) . The La Tablee NY Tasting was already in full swing as we checked in, placed our outerwear at the coat check and were each given a wine glass and wine tasting booklet. Before proceeding towards any wine/food tables, we glanced at the map indicating where each wine/food table was located. We went to each table, sampled things and marked it off in our booklet. There was space to write notes pertaining to specific wines that we liked. Because I enjoy the flavor of white wine and since there was fewer of those, I can safely say that every single white wine I had was my favorite-lol. Along with the wine tasting, there were delightful tasty treats to sample from restaurants/eateries including Atrium, Andante Dairy, Bar Boulud, Celestine and Frankies Spuntino. The Charcuterie platters (fresh cheeses, breads, crackers, fruit and meats) were so good. We tried Toscanna Aqua Penna for the first time (yes, I am very late-lol) and this bottled water is smooth + refreshing. Shout out to Columbe staffperson Ellie as she made the best Latte.... Bridge 26 boats wooden floors and high ceilings in which the natural sunlight radiates through the venue. There are bathrooms on the upper and lower levels and the downstairs bathroom has a connecting "powder room" so that brides, birthday boys/girls and eveyone in between can freshen up and get ready for their festivities. 375 people can be in the venue for standing events and a bit over 200 can fit there during seated events. The Bridge 26 website has a section in which you can send them an email to make general inquiries on booking this space. The La Tablee NY Tasting was fantastic and it was cool to attend it at 26 Bridge.

Weddings venues with a rustic Brooklyn feel would be perfect here. It a bit of a walk from the Train station, and there's not much parking other than street parking. Location wise it's good for the scenic views if you walk out to Brooklyn Bridge park to take pictures, and the cobble stoned streets in the area.

April was always just a phone call or email away to answer our questions and reassure us when we became stressed. April and the rest of the team at the Pratt House truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day a special, memorable, and unique day for ourselves and our guests. On the day of our wedding, the Pratt House looked stunning and our guests couldn't stop raving about our choice of venue. I was particularly blown away, as were our guests, of the Pratt House library as a cocktail hour space (which I highly recommend). Working with the Pratt House staff and our vendors (many of whom were recommended by the Pratt House), we were able to personalize the space to fit our travel themed wedding by adding unique floral arrangements and centerpieces and add sentimental touches to the space. We were blown away by the Pratt House, as were our guests. The ground floor is very nice, shiny dark wood flooring, interesting furnishings, and a small garden in the back. In the basement there is a tiny speakeasy bar furnished with various period curios as well as restrooms and a small kitchen. Both floors are fairly long and narrow, maybe 2000 sq feet combined? Convenient and chic location and I think the space would work for a variety of purposes.

She was warm during our initial tour, but once the contract was signed, communication became inconsistent and every conversation felt combative and unnecessarily rude. From the beginning, our timeline was a 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM open bar, using the Triplex until 11:00 PM and the Speakeasy from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM, which we'd rented for an additional $2,500. It was the timeline we developed with 632's own preferred caterer, and everything else, including catering, music, late-night food, and vendor schedules, was built around it. Then, less than a month before the wedding, Karen said she had decided she wasn't okay with eight hours of bar service anymore. Nothing had changed except her mind. We were suddenly forced to either cut cocktails during cocktail hour or shorten our after-party, despite already paying for both. We tried to find a compromise. Every suggestion was shut down. In the end, we spent thousands more booking a separate after-party venue, while also eating the cost of vendors like our DJ and photographer, whose hours had already been scheduled and paid for based on the original timeline. By the end of it all, we were so mentally drained that we didn't even do our rehearsal at the venue because we couldn't deal with another interaction. Then it took seven weeks and multiple follow-up emails just to get our security deposit back. If you value being treated with respect during one of the most important events of your life, look elsewhere. The venue is gorgeous. The owner is not someone you want to deal with.
