Warning Don't even consider ordering online from this location! Placed an order online, gives you an option on the location to pick-up/place order. After I placed the order, it gave me a message that someone from the store will call to confirm order and take the payment. I got an email to confirm my email address. And that was it! I called 4 hours later to confirm if my online order went through, no answer and I left a message. They called me over an hour after I left the message. Their first response..."we don't take orders at this location...you need to place it through the Tropicana location." I asked why do they even offer online ordering? I get was a robotic scripted response..."we don't take orders at this location, the bakery is at Tropicana. I don't know how our Website works." Clueless! DO NOT RECOMMEND EVER USING THIS GROOMING SERVICE! I would leave negative stars if that were an option. This is the last time we will ever take our two dogs to this store. This is the third time our mini-schnauzer has been shaven completely. The last two times they told us she was "too matted" to leave in a schaunzer cut. This time we made sure she has been brushed excessively to make sure she could get a normal schnauzer grooming. Not only did they shave her almost bald, but didn't even apologize for it. Her card clearly says Schnauzer Cut. My other lab mix was supposed to get a de-shed and bathing. Our bill for both dogs was $120. Not even a discount for the mis-grooming of my little dog. Now she will bald again for several months until her hair grows back. They called us four times to come pick up the dogs despite the fact they closed at 6pm and we were there by 5:30pm. The last phone call, my husband answered and explained we were on o way. Before he could even finish his sentence the girl hung up on him. When asked about this in the store, no one owned up to making the call. I am very pissed my little dog is now hairless again. We will not be back... if I can give more negative advertising to this grooming site, I will not miss the opportunity to do so. Now wonder my little dog almost has a nervous breakdown every time we drive to the groomer. I am sure she is treated the same way we were. DO NOT GO TO THIS GROOMER. read more

Sam the groomer was amazing!! My poor cat was so matted it was causing bald spots. I called and was able to get her in the very next morning since it was an emergency. I had to work at 8am so Sam even went above and beyond to meet me at the shop at 730am so I wouldn't be late to work. Otherwise they don't open till 8am. II'm leaving 2 stars for the groomers who always do a great job on my dog. I had an issue one time before and assuming it was the owner who called me who I ended up hanging up on because she was out of control! Since I only have my dog bathed and a nail trim I brought her back last Tuesday for the same service which was fine until Friday she (my dog) started hacking and coughing. Ended up at the vet today and she was diagnosed with kennel cough. I don't bring my dog to any dog parks and she has no contact with ANY other dogs or animals plus I have a large backyard where she is happy. $54 for a vet visit and $32 later for antibiotics, I'll take the loss then ever having to speak with the owner and warn everyone about my issue. I'll take responsibility for not reading the reviews here first about how dirty the grooming area is and always wondered why I was never allowed pass the grooming door. I hope other people who have their precious babies groomed here read this and grateful I got my dog to the vet, praying she's going to be ok. read more

I had been taking my two poodles here for grooming for a few years and was always happy with the service. Miriam would always groom at least one of them and was so good with my one dog who has arthritis in his hips and has sensitivity on his stomach area from being attacked and chewed up by a much larger dog. I will be honest and say that my dogs are not the easiest to groom. The younger one likes to jump around the table and I guess Miriam said he does nip on occasion, which shocked me because I always tell people he wouldn't hurt a fly. My other older poodle with the issues just needs to be picked up and handled properly and he is fine. With that being said, they have always been able to fully groom them and they have always left looking great. Miriam was always so happy to see them when they came in. Recently Miriam moved, so when my boys needed a grooming we just dropped them off with whoever was available. I dont know what happened but when my husband went to pick them up the groomer ( who was a young male, probably Miriams replacement) pretty much told off my husband saying that our dogs are "bad dogs" and that they dont do "bad dogs" there. He kept repeating over and over how our dogs are "bad dogs." My one poodle with all of the problems didn't even get his head groomed. He left there looking the way he did when we brought him in. In my opinion when you sign up to be a dog groomer you should be prepared to deal with difficult dogs. I mean, what dog likes to be scrubbed down in a bath, shaved, paws and ears trimmed, nails clipped, etc? We were never told by Miriam or any other groomer who did them that they were "bad dogs." I was highly offended by his attitude and lack of professionalism. I am pretty sure this guy must have been new because I had never seen a male groomer there before. I'm not sure if maybe he was not handling them properly or just did not have the patience, but I would have appreciated him handling the situation better. I am very disappointed and will not be returning to Bone Appetit because of this incident. read more

I try to write positive reviews to outweigh the negative but this truly is because I had a terrible experience. The associate was trying to be helpful but would not leave me alone or stop talking to me while I'm trying to shop. Followed me around the shop literally like a puppy and had something to say each time I just picked something up to look at. So that got annoying and it stopped me from looking around further. I went in to see their bakery items. BUYER BE WARE! They use REGULAR JIFFY PEANUT BUTTER THAT CONTAINS FULLY HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OIL. It's right behind the counter, take a look. They also use REGULAR WHITE FLOUR which is NOT SUITABLE FOR DOGS TO EAT. When I asked about the ingredients they were defensive. The associate asked the owner (heavyset blonde lady with an attitude) "what type of flour do we use" and her reply was "Flour...just flour flour". That is the most ignorant answer! Flour is a powder substance made of all kinds grains when grinding. So when I asked if it was regular White bleached flour she continued to say "Just Flour". Just because their dog treats are "home made" on location doesn't always equal good for your dog or more safe than the packaged treats. The fact that I inquire about what I'm feeding my dog shouldn't be offensive and someone who prides themselves in their due diligence on researching what's best for animals would not be offended. The owner admitted that regular flour isn't the best choice for dogs but she got too many complains using wheat flour due to allergies. Ok, let's trade one risk for another as the solution?! NO! Coconut flour is a great dog friendly alternative that only takes a few minutes of goggle research to ensure your customers are getting SAFE quality baked goods. DO NOT BUY BAKED GOODS FROM THIS PLACE FOR YOUR DOG'S safety. read more

Beware! I like the look of the store, the products they sell, and the attentiveness of staff. Unfortunately that is why I Had to give them 1 star. The horror my dog experienced in the groomer's hands will never be totally known, but from rhe results I would say he was tortured. I brought my little poodle in to get it's first haircut since we moved here. I really thought I had found a jewel of a place because of appearance. I had a very simple cut in mind and told the groomer specifically what I wanted. A complete strip of all hair except for a Mohawk and small balls at his ankles...that was it...pretty simple I would think. Not! When I came to pick him up he definitely was not the macho looking dog I expected. The groomer took it upon herself to modify the Mohawk to a more traditional poodle top knot with a slight elevation in the middle. The legs were left with "knee sock" type fur and the body was left with shorter but not stripped fur. I accepted this because I picked him up in the later afternoon and I assumed that they "meant well" and I didn't want to offend the sweet groomer. The next morning I noticed that his nails appeared to be shiny but they were definitely not trimmed. Ooops....then I discovered it! He had two red spots on his stomach and leg. It seemed to get worse so I took him to the vet that day. I was told that he was severely burned, most likely from hot clippers! There was also a nick on his urethra area. It has now been 2 weeks and we are still treating the injury that ultimately ended up covering abou 80% of his stomach. I contacted the store and spoke to the Manager and advised her of the situation. Her comment was that if we want a specific haircut we should bring a picture. I made no demands because once your pet has been negligently or purposefully harmed you do not want to ever expose them to that place again. While the grooming was expensive...it was nothing next to the vet bill and pain my beautiful dog endured! BEWARE read more

Had some great grooming in 2015 and some not too good 2016 but just went back in April 2017 for another shot and had a great experience. Dogs came out fabulous. As with any place the good groomers are always moving around. Please be careful to tell them exactly what you want done. A friend took his dog today and cards got mixed up and his beautiful dog got shaved by accident. Life will go on but not a good way to get repeat customers. read more

Such a cute place conveniently located in a Southern Highlands plaza. They have private self-wash rooms for your pup with a huge tub, shampoo, clean towels, blow-dryer, and brushes! All for $10! Love this place. I just took my dog here for the first time and they took great care of him! He's old and blind and has bad anxiety and a lot of moles. They got him in and out- literally an hour and a half, being very accommodating to his age and issues. Brittany was his groomer, and she did exactly what I wanted and I'm grateful he's clean and happy! I just moved to Nv, so finding a groomer was a little nerve racking, as my dog is old! I tried going here because they are local and I like to support small business. I drive over 1/2 hour for grooming of my 2 dogs so thought I would also check that out too. My dogs go evey 2 weeks. I found the prices for the same treats I get elsewhere to be much higher and also the staff was extremely rude. This place is so frustrating. We went a few months ago to get our dog groomed, when I brought my dog in they told me that he looked fine and didn't need to be groomed( we literally had just adopted him and he never had a bath or hair trim before) so the gentleman that took him back there dragged my dog by the leash after I told him he was terrified. They told be it would be about an hour and that they would call me when he was done. 2 hours later I still had not received a call(made sure I gave the correct information) and he had been done for an hour an half. Today we decide to give this place another shot and got the same thing about his nails. They informed us that his nails didn't need to be trimmed, so they took him back there did a half ass job. It's just fine for self serve baths. $10.99 each, but if you register at the store, you will get one free dog bath for every ten purchased, and they will keep track of this for you at their register. Took our dog here once for grooming, and that was not so great. Really, I could have done it better myself and saved the $45. Won't return for grooming. Dehydration Etc yes had to take to the vet. The first bill $487. Per dog. I chose to not do some of the services and got out for $110 per dog. The little kids they have working up front are pretty nice. But nobody cleaned the filth on the floor of the building. It's a freaking dog place. There should be a mop and broom almost continuously moving. This place look like it had never been swept. I came in last week with my dog dobby and I was really nervous to have his nails cut because the last place I took him cut him and now he's deathly afraid of the groomers but I was so surprised my dog took to the lady who was cutting his nails so well. My dog loves getting his bath here because every time when he's done he gets a cute little treat. Over a month ago I took my dog for the first time to get groomed at this establishment. A few hours after the grooming, we noticed that under her ears she was bleeding and the skin had been scrapped off. I went with my dog and showed the grooming manager, she made a face when she saw the wound. I asked for a refund twice. She said she couldn't give me one without talking to the owner/manager. She told me it would take about a week for the owner/manager to get a hold of me. So I gave her my contact information and I never received a call back. I am extremely unhappy with the service. My dogs ears continued to bleed and looked worse and worse until it scabbed over. I took my dog in for his first grooming and he looks Amazing! The wonderful groomer Tiffany was very sweet and kind to both the dog and myself. My dog suffers from a little anxiety. I was Very nervous about leaving my fur baby but he seemed to really like the young lady. She even called me half way through his grooming to ease my mind and let me know that Marley was doing wonderful. When I picked him up he was all smiles! Looking and smelling great! The staff was also very helpful in answering ALL my questions when I first came in to make his appt. I explained my nervous and they assured me that Tiffany would take very good care with him. I brought my Pomeranian and poodle in for a haircut. The girls at the front were very nice and seemed to really enjoy their job. This was my first time in and they were very helpful. I was taken into the back where they do the grooming, I was introduced to the groomer (who was also very friendly) and was asked EXACTLY what I wanted... In extreme detail. I said goodbye to my pups and then took a walk around the store. It seemed as though all of their products were high quality so I picked up a few treats for the dogs (including a cologne type spray made of essential oils which smells incredible AND helps their coat). They were very efficient and I was called within two hours, which rarely happened at my old groomers. I picked up the pups and they looked and smelled wonderful. The price of the grooming seemed a tad expensive, but the attention to detail was on point. read more
