The flavors were excellent, everything tasted great, and the cones were big and solid. My next visit dropped to three stars because service was painfully slow with only one employee working, and then we discovered that our cones had hollow centers. So we came back and gave them another chance. This time, service was speedy. There were three people working, everyone was friendly, and we got our orders quickly. The ice cream tasted great all around too. But... the products are still inconsistent. Two people had the ube cones, and those were solid. Three other people received hollow centers in their cones and cup. It's just disappointing. Everything was also extra soft this time. The ice cream was much meltier than what we've experienced here before. Not bad tasting, just noticeably different. So yes, this visit was better. Much better service and great flavor, but we still didn't walk away feeling the same way we did after that first five star visit. At $9 per cone, I think they need to deliver a more consistent product. The flavors are good and there's clearly something worth coming back for, but when the experience can vary this much from visit to visit, it's hard to justify that price.

Until yesterday....I pull up to the place with my son, the lights are on, the OPEN sign is flashing in the window, the front door is open so we walk in. We are then told by someone holding a hose of some kind that they are closed! Maybe turn off the flashing open sign then? Quite annoying to then have to put a disappointed child back in the car and drive over to 16 handles. Bottom line: The people who run this shop are very very nice and I believe are trying hard to get this business going. But opening up before necessary things are done in the place, and being sporadically closed to fix these things is going to cost them a lot of customers. The yogurt isn't anything special or different from the other two places right in town, except that they actually offer a lot less choices. It is easier to go to one of those where you know what you're gonna get and they'll be OPEN!

They said they could not refund online orders and we would have to come back to the store for them to remake a new bowl. By that point we were already at work so that was not an option. We currently have no resolution to this issue. I placed an order ahead of time (literally at 3am from their website) and had no issues with the pickup or the order being ready on time. Pickup was smooth, seamless and pleasant. The atmosphere makes you feel like you walked into a store on the shore. Very beach inspired, colorful and fun. TIP- The website does not list if the oatmeal is hot or not but when placing an online order there is a "special note" section where you can request the oatmeal to be warm.

There's no aftertaste to their ice cream like a lot of the other ice cream places in the county. Service is good, but sometimes the portions can be a little inconsistent, but that also usually depends on who's serving. It doesn't happen often though. The place is a little small inside, but they have chairs and tables to enjoy your treat outside. It may not be all perfect, but I will take their ice cream over anyone else's.

I was extremely impressed with the response from the restaurant manager, Joseph Verrengia. He contacted me personally, listened to my concerns, and explained that his team took ownership of what happened. What impressed me most was that Joseph didn't just apologize--he explained the specific steps he had taken with his staff to help ensure other guests have a better experience going forward. I know that things don't always go perfectly at a restaurant, but how management responds when there is a problem says a lot. Joseph handled the situation professionally and with excellent customer service. His follow-up completely changed our impression of the experience.
