But on this rainy day we stopped for ice cream and picked up two cones for under $10. My wife went with Cricket Crunch (Vanilla ice cream with mint cookies and chocolate chips) and I went with Ayrshire Chip (Strawberry ice cream with chocolate chips). We both thought the ice cream was extraordinary, with a creamy texture, excellent flavors, and yummy chocolate chips. There isn't any seating inside, save for a bench, but there is plenty outside under a tent. Today was raining, so the tent seating was drenched, and we had our cones in the car. The rainy weather and muddy grounds also discouraged us from walking over to the barns to see the animals, which surely are a big hit with visiting children. Gift items, pantry items, grab 'n go cakes, muffins, pizza strips and sweet snacks, milk, cheese, ice cream containers. Lots of sweet treats in the display cases too. We ended our visit with a visit to the cows and milking barn. We were too early to see the milking process but we did walk the little trail where kids can participate in a scavenger hunt. Get supplies in the tractor mailbox at the beginning if the path. A few heifers are penned up outside the milking barn and several more were standing in front of a huge fan at the back. At 90° even the cows want a fan! There's a good amount of parking in front of and to the left of the market. Handicap spots are right by the market door. Two porta-potty right next to the parking lot.

As this is also a dairy, they have available their milk. The maple milk (available in small bottles) is remarkably fresh and flavorful - highly recommend. Their ice cream is also available to take out. In the warmer parts of the year there is an onsite ice cream stand run outside in an old camper - charming! They do custom cakes and orders, handled in an office onsite. Plenty of parking. They also have a self guided tour of the dairy operation.
